Chapter Twenty-Seven: Smile

Aiden's pov

"I should get going." I sighed after breaking the awkward silence. "Okay."
Camryn and Brian muttered. "We'll hang later?" Brian asked as we side hugged-ish. "Yeah sure." I replied.

"Bye." Camryn said quickly as we awkwardly side hugged. "Bye." I muttered as I exited the door.

"What took you so long?" Andrew groaned. I waved him off, signaling to him that it was nothing. He rolled his eyes as he leaned against the brick wall and puffed out a huff of smoke from his cigarette.

Andrew and I were close friends, despite he was still in a gang. We were inseparable, if Ariana and the boys found out we still talked, we'd both be dead. Apparently, Ariana demanded all the men if they ever talk to me again, she'd chop their balls off. Literally.

Nick didn't count, we went to the same school. "I have to leave in a while. I have someone waiting for me back at home." He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Who is this someone?" I asked curiously. "A....female." he wiggled his eyebrows at me teasingly. I rolled my eyes.

"Since when are you actually gonna get a girlfriend?" I asked with a hint of humor in my voice. He rolled his eyes. "Like you have one." He chuckled.

"I have my eyes on someone." I said as I wiggled a cigarette out of it's pack. Andrew tossed me a lighter. I nodded at him gratefully and gave it back to him.

"No I have not had sex with her." I rolled my eyes already knowing that he was going to ask that. He gasped dramatically as he clutched his hand over his chest.

"She's beautiful and funny. She has a very...special personality. She has this little twinkle in her eyes and they crinkle when she smiles. Fuck, she has such a beautiful smile that could light up the whole city. No, the whole God damn world. She can grow flowers with that fucking smile." I smiled at the thought of it.

Andrew looked at me worryingly, and he seemed very interested. "Wow." He huffed. "Tell me more, Romeo." He said as he batted his eyelashes. "Shut the fuck up." I laughed.

"I don't know man." I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "She's...prefect." I smiled.

"What's her name?" He asked as he dropped his cigarette on the floor and stepped on it.

"Camryn." I smiled cheekily.

"You're so cheesy." He laughed. "I'm gonna leave now, I don't like to keep my guests waiting." He smirked.

"Guests?" I asked. He nodded enthusiastically. "You should come. With that major crush of yours, you obviously haven't gotten-"

"I don't think so." I replied as I pushed his shoulder as he walked to his car with me following behind him. He raised his eyebrows at me giving me a this-is-your-last-chance-so-make-up-your-mind look. I sighed loudly and nodded as he grinned devilishly. I climbed into the passenger's seat.

"We're bringing them to your place, cool?" He asked as the engine roared to life. I nodded and rested my head on the seat and closed my eyes.

"You're getting laid today don't sleep." He huffed. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah whatever." I mumbled.

We went to Andrew's house and picked up the girls and went back to my house. The car was crowded and it really ticked me off that I almost slapped a girl, but didn't because I didn't want Camryn to find out and see me as a bad person because I really am not.

We entered my empty--as always--house. The girls giggled which gave me a stupid headache because I also had to deal with the annoying giggling on the way back.

"Hey Aid." A blonde girl walked up to me as she bit her bottom lip. "Please don't call me that. It's just stupid." I rolled my eyes. "Oh." She blushed.

Her cheeks fluttered a deep red, reminding me of the way Camryn blushes. Her face turns so pink, this girl was nothing compared to her.

I really did need to get laid.

"Shall we get a room?" She asked in a low, sexy attempting voice that really was not sexy whatsoever.

I nodded slowly as she dragged me slowly up the steps and entered a room, shutting the door slowly behind her.

Camryn's pov

"I can't deal with this I'm inviting Aaron over." I sobbed. "Camryn it's okay-" Brian said as he reached over to comfort me as I flinched and pulled away.

"No it's not okay!" I shouted. There was a moment of silence before I stomped upstairs to my room. I slammed the door with force behind me as I stomped over to my bed and sat at the edge.

I pulled out my phone and dialled Aaron's number. He immediately picked up.

"What's up sweetheart?" He asked sympathetically.

"Come over please." I sniffled.

"I'll be there in a few." He sad before hanging up. This is what I loved about Aaron, he was always there for me. He didn't need to bombard me with questions, he knew what I needed. Comfort. I feel bad that I always come crawling to him, but then again that's what best friends are for.

A few minutes later, a knock came from downstairs and a door opened. Footsteps rushed up the stairs and my door quickly opened as Aaron rushed towards me.

He wrapped his long arms around me tightly. "What's wrong girly?" Aaron asked. I could hear the concern in his voice. "Stephanie-"

"I know. We lost a part of us. It's never going to be the same anymore. We loved her so much. I don't know-" He sniffled. He wrapped his arms around me tighter.

"I need to tell you something." I said quietly. Aaron let go of me and nodded.

"Nick did something horrible." I cried. More tears streamed down my cheeks. "To Stephanie?" Aaron asked in a low voice. I nodded slowly.

"He raped her." I said slowly as I threw myself into Aaron's arms.

We cried for hours and hours until we finally winded down.

"So." Aaron said as he sat straighter in his position. "Let's talk about boys." He grinned.

"I don't want to." I groaned and threw a pillow over my face. "Well we are anyways." He slapped my arm.

"Okay." I grunted. "I met this really cute guy at a club and we talked and I like him and I think he likes me." He smiled.

"Good for you." I smiled happily. "Let's talk about you and Aiden. What do guys have there anyway?" He asked as he cupped his face with his palms.

"We just kissed that's all. He's a really good kisser. He also tastes really good. Wait now I want food." I smiled.

"Since when do you not want food?" Aaron laughed.

"But Aiden's good to me.. I think. I don't know if he just wants to protect me or likes me. But why would Aiden like me?" I asked as I threw my arms up in the air.

Aaron glared at me. I bit my bottom lip nervously. "I-" I started. "I think I like him." I said, which made Aaron jump up in excitement.

"Go fuckimg tell him, go, go ,go!" He rushed me out the door. "Aaron wait!" I panicked.

I was suddenly pushed out of the door by an excited Aaron. "He's only two houses down go!" He said as I walked off. My hands trembled. What if he doesn't like me back?

I stood infront of Aiden's door. I lifted my trembling fist up to knock. No reply. I knocked multiple times, but there was no answer.

I suddenly put my hand on the doorknob. It was unlocked.

I feel like a spy hehe.

I opened the door slowly and walked in. The house was dark downstairs, and no one was there.

I walked up the stairs so slowly, already regretting my decision.

I've been in Aiden's house before, so I know where his room his. I walked down the hall and stopped in front of his door. I was very nervous. I knocked but there was no reply. I heard noises past the door, so I knew he was here.

I put my hand on the doorknob and twisted it open.

"My virgin eyes!" I said loudly as I spun around quickly as I shield my eyes.

"Cam I-" Aiden started. "I should go huh?" I asked softly. "No Camryn wait I need to-" Aiden started. But before he could finish I shut the door quickly and ran out of the house.

Well, I got my answer.
