As soon as Percy screamed, the Dursley's came rushing into the room in case a burglar came or something else that a rational human being would scream about.
What they found however, was a teenage boy shaking and panicking on the floor. Like he had just witnessed a murder.
"Hey!" Vernon shouted, caring a tv remote in case they needed 'protection' from whatever was in there.
Percy was panting, and trying to slow his breath.
"Y-y-yes?" Percy said, shaking with tear stains on his eyes.
"Keep it down, or you won't get dinner."
He then left the room with his son, but his wife stayed behind.
Maybe I was too quick to judge him. She thought. He's still my sisters son. My sister who wasn't a freak like Lily.
"Are you okay?" She asked. "What happened?"
"N-nothing. Just a nightmare." He said, finally managing to slow his breaths.
She noticed that he didn't answer her first question, but concluded he was obviously not, and won't be for a long time.
"Maybe it would be good to get some fresh air." She said.
"Y-yeah." He said, shaking as he got up and stumbled out the door.
Petunia sighed, and knew there wasn't much else she could do.
But maybe, she thought, just maybe, this was her second chance.
Percy's POV-
As soon as I made it out the door–relatively unseen–I collapsed on the grass.
My hands griped the grass tightly, and I new that I would need something to distract me.
I think fighting would really help, but I had no idea how I would do that here.
It would either help, or make me a hell of a lot worse.
My thoughts kept drifting of to the palace, and I gripped the grass tighter.
It was all my fault.
All my f—
Shut the f**k up Percy! Get it together!
I needed to let off some steam, and I needed to do it now.
But there was no way of doing that here.
Unless...
