Dear Annie,
Im trying to piece myself back together but its really hard. You would have had the perfect advise, but your not here to give me that advise. I feel like Ive betrayed you all. Ive been forced to move on so fast, and I just cant. No one understands me. Ive been distracting myself with workouts, but theres only so much my body can handle.
Harry is coming soon, and I have no idea what he's like. If he's anything like Dudley, I know my time here will just get worse. I wanted to be healed by the time he gets here, for a fresh start. But I don't think that will happen. My mask is getting harder to keep up. For a while everyone saw me for what I was. A broken shell. But I have to get better. For James.
When I turn 18 Ill get an apartment, live a good life. For James. Everything I do from then on, will be for James. I will get better. I must.
But I do, and always will, miss you.

"Dinner!" Petunia's voice rang through the house, making sure that no one didn't know.

I put the new letter in my stash and calmly went down the stairs for what was sure to be an eventful dinner.

This morning, Petunia told me Harry would be coming soon, but she is yet to tell Vernon and Dudley.

I was the last to the table, which earned me a few rude glances from V & D. (What? Why think long names when you could just think shorter nicknames?)

On the table was a chicken and some side dishes. One being broccoli, which was sure to make a few people throw a fit.

"How was your day dear?" Petunia asked Vernon.

"My bloody secretary went on maternity leave. I should fire that skank. Baby's can wait!" He complained, while shoving food in his mouth. Not a great picture.

I rolled my eyes, which did not, very unfortunately, escape V's glance.

"What do you have to say, boy?" He spat out.

"I'm glad you asked. There's a very simple solution to your problem, although I'm sure your not the only one to overlook it. Very easy actually, all you have to do, is hire someone else for you to boss around while she's dealing with the considerably less pain of giving birth rather then working for you everyday."

Oops. It just slipped out.

There was a stunned silence across the table, Vernons the most hilarious.

"I get the feeling Harry doesn't speak his mind much." I said, breaking the silence.

"You—you bloody—"

Vernon started to say something, but didn't get very far once Petunia cut in.

"Enough of all of this. Settle down boys. I have important news." She said, forcefully.

"No! I will not take orders from my wife! I am the man of the household!" Vernon angrily said, like a dog.

"Then get your act together. And you will take orders from me and quiet down!"

"I'm taking this to my room." Vernon said, backing down like a pig.

"You stay we're your seated and eat your broccoli."

Vernon scowled and glared, but stayed where he was.

"What is it mummy?" Dudley said, finally finding his voice.

"Harry will be back soon. Next week actually."

That sure got the anger up again.

"How long until they turn 18?" Vernon said.

Oh goodie. I feel included.

"Not long dear."

"We'd better help you right. I don't want this house falling apart from those two arrogant, useless, self pitying bloody monsters." Vernon said.

"I'll be sure to recommend you to the foster care system." I said, smiling like an innocent school boy. And we all know I am far from innocent.
