Roman's POV

I was walking home from school one day with my headphones in looking at the ground jamming out to some Nickelback humming along to burn it to the ground holding on to the straps on my backpack.

I looked to my left and saw that we were close to my home but when I get there, there are a whole bunch of cops at my house dragging my parents out of the house in handcuffs yelling and I just stand there shook, thoughts running through my head, Where will I go? So I run over and ask what's going on then they tell me and I start thinking not my parents they would never.

So that's what happened this is why I am on a plane to California because my parents got arrested so they found me some new parents in California their names were Stephanie and Hunter they sounded like some good people, the only reason they took me in is that they always wanted a child so here I am they didn't have time to raise a kid from childhood so they thought someone my age will be fine which I am 17.

"Sir can I get you anything else" The flight attendant tapped me and I looked up at her and take out one of my headphones

"Can I just get a ginger ale?" I asked because I was pretty thirsty

"Ok I will be right back" She smiled and walked away

I put my headphone in and leaned my head back while closing my eyes, I missed my family they did take care of me.

After a while she brings back my drink, I drunk it.

I started to feel sleepy so I lay back and close my eyes then fall asleep

Three hours later

I felt a tap on my shoulder, so then I wake up

"Sweety we have landed and everyone has exited off." The flight attendant said to me

I rubbed my eyes

"Oh I'm sorry" I said standing up and grabbing my stuff she smiled at me and said it's all fine so I smiled at her then exited the plane, I had walked around for a while before I saw Stephaine and Hunter with big smiles on their face well my first thought was that they were really friendly so I walked up to them.

"Hey you must be Roman this is Hunter and I am Stephanie we are your new family" Stephaine said smiling

"Hi yeah I'm Roman" I said shaking their hands

Hours later

We had just finished eating dinner and they showed me to my room so now I am preparing for bed

I was sitting there looking at a picture of me and my old family I am pretty sure that none of this was supposed to happen, I sit there and think of my favorite moment with them I was 8 years old

Flashback

"Roman let's go run around in the backyard" My dad said and I got up from the couch smiling putting my book down.

I run over to him as he picks me up and we go outside. We start running around for a while.

My mom had disappeared with some man helping her move something large but I don't know what it was.

Flashback over

I sat there thinking about all the paper's they were hiding, all the men that were coming in and out of the house moving stuff but all the people who were missing were all the people my parents were friends with, or them moving in all this expensive stuff and I knew that we couldn't afford all of this because my mom was working two jobs.

Come to think about it they were doing all of this since I was a child, giving me stuff really expensive stuff peoples names still on everything them having to erase it.

I felt so broken like my family is gone how could they do this knowing they had a child now here I am in this big house with a new family. I am having to readjust to this new living, new school, new friends don't even know if I am going to even make those.

Maybe I should just try to get some sleep because all this is stressful to a child like me, I am 17 having to adjust to all of this.

Maybe my life here would be better.

Next morning

I walked downstairs my hair a mess and wearing a tank top and shorts I see Hunter in a tux and Stephanie in a pants suit In the kitchen eating their breakfast on their phones and tablets.

They both look up at the same time and say good morning at the same time then Stephanie pats a spot at the table so I walked over and sat down then started eating, we then make little conversation.

"How did you sleep on your first night here?" Hunter asked me

"Well it was more comfortable than at home" I said looking down really missing my home even though we were somewhat broke.

"Well I'm glad but now we have to go to work we will be back in a few hours so make yourself at home" As they leave so I go and get changed

Then go on a run through the forest in the backyard it was pretty big but I didn't get lost I do see another man running shirtless and gosh dang was he hot, I was scared to talk to him so then I ran back to the house.

I ran in then took a shower and changed and laid on my bed then started dreaming of Mr.Dreamy McDreamy, gosh was he hot I hope I see him again tomorrow like why am I thinking of this dude I don't even know him maybe we would run into each other again.

When they got back we ate dinner then I went back to my room and got in bed dreaming of whatever his name was, gosh he was fine, not this crap again.

I fell asleep dreaming of this guy again

Dream start

Me and dreamy were laying in bed after doing the deed because my parents were gone

"I love you" He said with his deep sexy voice

"I love you too" I said then we started making out again

Dream over

I sat up sweating gosh I got to meet him tomorrow

After wiping the sweat I laid back down

Gosh, he's stuck in my dreams again, I fell asleep, let's pray he is running tomorrow.
