I'm an ex Eminem fan; I was one of his Stans. Well... Not anymore. This is the following conversation I usually have with many Eminem's fans these days. Pissing off fans of any celebrity gives me bliss.

Eminem's lyricism makes him a cut above the rest. His lyrics talk about reality. Only dumb people don't understand his lyrics.

Raping and murdering his mother in his rap Kill You? Murdering his wife in Kim? Being a murderer and again raping women in 3 A.M and Stay Wide Awake? Calling women sluts and bitches in Superman and Ass Like That? Or making up stories of a devil inside him in My Darling or The Monster?

Bro, you hate Eminem because he raps about real issues, not like your JB or 1D crap. Eminem is the goat (greatest of all-time).

Well, making me 1D or JB fan is a logical fallacy of false equivalence/comparison because I don't like them as well.

Eminem can be considered as the most celebrated artist of our time. But he as lyricist or artist is not even close to the songwriters/lyricists/artists of 60s and 70s classic rock music.

If you notice, most of Eminem's famous rap songs are only about his depression, his struggle, and his personal life. All of his recent albums were about the same old shit.

Bro, why are you so dumb? Eminem doesn't care about reviews or critiques. He disses them in his rap. You can't deny he has given us many greatest hits. Hail his lyricism, dummy!

Now, you are committing the logical fallacy of ad hominem (attack the debater when you can't debate).

You can't digest this fact, but Eminem needs co-writers to help him write his rap songs. For example, many of his biggest songs have co-writers, Lose Yourself, Rap God, Stan, Sing For A Moment, When I'm Gone, Till I collapse, Love The Way You Lie, Not Afraid, No Love, The Monster, The Real Slim Shady, Without Me and so on. So practically all these biggest hits of his are co-written.

He only wrote one of his famous songs, Beautiful, without any help. So let's not make him the lyrical genius that we tend to do.
