Yukina pov

I woke up in a strange white room with needles in my arm... Where am I?

Flashback

"Yukina come here" mother said and I ran over to mother holding a delphinium flower.

"Mama I got you a flower" I said as I put it in her hand.

"Thanks dear I'll treasure it forever" she said with a sad smile as she put it behind her ear.

"Lily have you told her yet?!" Father asked walking towards, us.
Mom suddenly looked like she was going to cry.

"Yukino... You Are weak. We had great expectations for you and you haven't even unlocked one of the two Kekkie genkais that you can achieved" mother told me.

"What your mother is trying to say is that you are no longer apart of our family and will go somewhere where you'll never see us again" father said sternly.
"Don't be silly mama, papa you can't stop someone from being related to you" I said giggling.

Father narrowed his eyes at me before mama said "you're right yukina" she then pulled me into a hug and she whispered
"but in this case we can" I felt something hit the back off my neck and darkness quickly consumed me.

Flashback over

Mama...

Papa...

They left me...

Why couldn't I be strong like they wanted...?

Why can't I be good enough?!

"Hello child" a old man said walking into the room.

"Who are you?" I asked softly.

"I'm the third Hokage"

"I said who are you, not 'what is your title!'" I said smiling a little.

He gave a slight gruffly laugh before saying.
"Hiruzen Sarutobi, what's your name child?"

"My name? Yukina Kōri" I said sadly.

"How odd... Last night you were announced dead. We should probably get you back to your parents" he said with a sad smile.

"No... Mama and papa don't want me... They said I'm to weak to be their daughter" I said with a tear rolling down my face.

"Well how about you stay her In the leaf? You can even become a ninja when you're older.

I looked at him and smiled brightly before nodding. I can't believe it... Someone actually wants me.

Two people then came into the room. They looked similar but the one looked my age and the other looked father's ages. They both had weird, fascinating snow white eyes.

"Oh you're awake, I'm glad" the alder male said with a soft smile.

"Hiiiii I'm Neji!" The boy said offering me his hand for me to shake.

"I'm yukina" I muttered shyly as I shook his soft hand.

"Me and father found you when we were on out way to get barbeque. You were asleep outside of our villages gate, our meeting was probably destiny's doing" Neji explained.

I gave a slight 'oh' but I wasn't really interested I was more fascinated by his eyes. I had seen then somewhere before but the question is where.

Then it came to me...

Flashback

"Yukina, today, instead of training we're going to look at different clans so you know who they are if you ever run into them" father told me and I couldn't have been more happy, I'm two and have training scars, I know things that most ninja learn at 10 or older. Mother and Father train me none stop so it'll be nice to just chill out and read about different clans for once.

I was reading the book fine until I got stuck on some of the words in the chapter labeled 'kohana'.

"Papa what does this word say?" I asked pointing at a word spelt U C H I H A.

"Oh it's the uchiha clan, one of the strongest clans ever to have existed they have an eye Kekkie genkai like you will when you achieve it" he stated and I nodded before going back to my book.

I read tones of interesting things like the Yamanaka (sp) clan can search through your mind. And the aburame clam can manipulate bugs. The harunos aren't all that interesting, they have good chakra control but anyone can do that if they put their mind to it.

My personal favorite has got to be the Nara clan. They can manipulate shadows! How cool. They also have their own forest with deer's that attack outsiders!

I then came across another one that was hard to read. On the page was a picture of a white eye. How can you have a eye without a pupil? Wait is this clan blind?

"Papa what's this clan?" I asked curiously.

"That's the hyuuga clan" father spat.

"What's wrong with the hyuuga's father?" I asked curious as to why he'd taken that tone while speaking of them.

"The Kōri clan and the hyuuga clan do not have the best past. We are at war. Our war becomes our children's war and then it becomes their children's, and so on"  father explained.

"Why do they have white eyes?"

"Its apart of their Kekkie genkai, they host the byakugan and it can see one's chakra network, they are a worthy opponent."

"Oh... Papa? What's my Kekkie genkai?"

"Well you have the power to posses two. The Kekkie genkai off your mother's side is called Kiku meaning listen. When you activate it you can make anyone do what you want all except one who possesses the sharingun, if you reach stage three of the Kekkie genkai no one can withstand it not even the uchiha's.

Your Kekkie genkai off my side is called yukidaruma  meaning snowman and you can freeze things with a glance it can also do more but I'll tell you all about it another day"

Flashback over

"You're from the hyuuga clan" I said and the males looked at me surprised.

"Father told me our clans hate each other" I muttered.

"What clan are you from child?" Nejis father asked.

"My name is yukina Kōri from the Kōri clan" I said smiling softly and his eyes widened.

"Why are you in Konoha?! You are your clans most prized possession they wouldn't let you wonder off without a bodyguard"

"Mama and papa left me, they said I'm weak" I said staring intensely at my blanket.

"Dad, if they left her it technically means they kicked her out off there clan so she's not our enemy so me and yukina can be friends right?" Neji asked excitedly.

"I guess you're right"
