TWO - UNKNOWN CULPRIT
"New York's six year old female vigilante, Vixen, was seen being helped by the four year old male vigilante, Spider-Man, stopping an armed robbery that seemed to be in control of an ice controlling mutant. Vixen's all too familiar red and leathery suit, matched with a hood, was spotted at the scene first. She went in and, not much of a surprise, helped out the citizens first before doing anything with the criminal. Though, it seemed that Spider-Man helped out the older vigilante as she saved the people. He took it upon himself to start trying to stop the mutant criminal..."
Eliza huffed, turning down the volume of the TV and crossing her arms as she stood in the middle of the living room. Tony had taken it upon himself keep her in his Malibu house until the two weeks of suspension was over, but that didn't stop the college student from vanishing from the house and running into danger to save people in New York. And that's exactly what she did last night after the police reporter app gave her a new notification.
Now, she was a bit bruised and battered (running on ice covered concrete isn't a good idea), and Tony and Pepper obviously knew where she had gone, so she wasn't mad about them suddenly finding out her 'big secret'. She was mad about Spider-Man helping her. In her mind, she didn't need help. In her mind, she had the situation from last night under control; she saved the citizens, after all.
"Be careful, your jealous ego is showing."
Eliza turned her head to find the owner of the voice. First she recognized the black hair that was similar to their dad's and the dark, brown eyes that Tony and he shared. Then she saw the black shirt and jeans, and dirty converse on his feet. Suit cases were either side of him, and for a second Eliza had to register that her brother was standing there. When it did, a large grin formed on her face and she raced towards him, engulfing her twin in a hug.
"Wait," Eliza quickly stepped back and narrowed her eyes, though a teasing smile was on her lips, "What are you doing here anyway?"
Killian shrugged, actin casual. "Oh, you know... Visiting my wonderful sister and my billionaire dad and his girlfriend-."
"You got suspended too, huh?"
"What!? No, no... I got expelled."
"Killian!" Eliza shrieked in shock, "What the hell, man? How did you- actually, no. Not even gonna ask."
Killian gave a guilty grin and ran a hand through his hair, "Yeah. It's best if no one knew."
"Aren't we two troublesome students," Eliza sighed and started walking away towards the kitchen. "You doing God knows what to get expelled and me punching the assistant coach."
The brother laughed and followed, merely leaving his bags on the ground where he set them. He caught up with his sister and shook his head. "Can't believe you're still in school, Ellie," he told her. "I'm surprised I'm just now getting expelled."
Eliza nodded in agreement, "Yeah, so am I, actually. But I think Mr. Dowell has been getting...blackmailed or something. He's tried to expel me once, but he just went with suspension almost an hour later. He seemed a bit startled in the phone call. And Dad wouldn't scare someone into keeping me in school."
He hummed in thought, because that would make sense. No college would have kept them for the things they have done if they weren't getting blackmailed, or something similar to the sort. "That's odd. You haven't been doing that, have you?"
"Hell no. That's a crime, and – in case you forgot – I'm a kind vigilante that fights against crime. And so are you... Or were," she said the last part quietly, looking ahead of her instead up at her brother like she had been doing.
Killian pursed his lips and stopped walking, grabbing his sister's elbow so she would to. Eliza turned her head towards him with raised eyebrows and a slightly curious expression; her brother licked his lips and crossed his arms before saying anything. "Ellie, you can't still be mad about that," he said to her.
"I'm not mad," she said slowly, "Just... It's just still weird not having my brother beside me when fighting."
He gave a teasing smile, "Seems like there's someone new to fill in my spot."
Eliza frowned and glared at Killian. "No. No. And no. I don't need help." She then turned back around and went into the kitchen, not hesitating to invade the refrigerator.
Killian scoffed and followed his sister, letting out a short laugh, "You just said you miss me fighting beside you!"
"You're the only help I'll fully accept."
"Not Dad?"
"Eh, I have no choice with him."
"Natasha?"
"Nope."
"Wanda?"
"Eh."
"Steve?"
"Na-da."
"...Bucky?"
"We don't even talk."
Killian rolled his eyes and took the coke from his sister. He quickly opened it and took a large sip out of it, smiling innocently as he handed it back to her, the all too familiar glare she wore nearly every day pointed at him. "One of these days, you're gonna need help. Accept that, Eliza."
Eliza pointing at him and said, "One of these days, you'll realize that you're wrong. Accept that, Killian."
He sighed, laughing slightly, "I think I might go back to California – I don't think I'll be able to handle your stubbornness."
This time, she rolled her eyes and punched him in the shoulder. "You were staying a dorm. You got expelled. You have nowhere to stay over there, Killi," she told him. "And you love me too much."
"Sadly- ow, stop hitting me!"
"You're being mean!"
"I'm being mean? You just hit me – twice!"
"You're such a baby, Killi."
"What-?!"
"I heard the annoying sound of siblings fighting, so I'm assuming my favorite son is back from California," Tony Stark's voice filled their ears.
The twins turned their heads towards the entrance of the kitchen, seeing Tony walking in with a smile on his face and Pepper Potts coming in behind him. The redhead woman smiled at noticing Killian, quickly walking up and engulfing the young college student in a hug.
"How are you, Killian?" she asked.
"And-."
Eliza interrupted her dad with a smirk, "He got expelled."
Killian's smile from greeting Pepper fell as he turned his head to his sister, sending her a glare of annoyance and his lips going into a straight line. "Elli," he hissed at her.
Tony raised his eyebrows as he looked at his son as Pepper said, "Oh, really?"
"You two are very troublesome when it comes to school," Tony stated.
Eliza shrugged and leaned against the counter, "It's hell, do you expect us cooperate?"
"No."
"Yes," Pepper said, "If you want a good education, yes. What did you do anyway, Killi?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty interested," Tony sighed as he started raiding the refrigerator for food.
Killian scratched the back of his and gave a nervous chuckle, "Better if you guys don't know."
Tony froze for a split second and poked his head around the refrigerator door to look at Killian, "Please tell me you didn't kill anyone."
"Thankfully not."
Eliza then absentmindedly said, "It's not like he blew up a building." The sudden silence that followed made her look up from her phone and to the other three standing in the kitchen. Her brother had a sudden look of guilt across his face; Tony looked annoyed; and Pepper was staring at Killian, waiting for a definite answer. A large, amused grin slowly formed across her lips as she realized that she had guessed what had happened back in California. "Oh, my God, you blew up a building!" Eliza laughed.
"You blew up a building?" Pepper asked slowly.
"He blew up a building," Tony muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he grabbed a soda.
"I...blew up a...building, yeah," Killian confirmed.
"This is hilarious," Eliza laughed again, grinning from ear to ear. Though, the harsh look from Pepper she got made the grin falter. "Or...not. Yeah, this is...bad. Very bad. Bad, Killi."
Killian narrowed his eyes at his sister, "I'm not a dog, Elli."
"Kids, enough. We'll talk about the blowing up the building thing later, but Tony and I have some news to tell you-."
"You're finally getting married!"
"You're pregnant?!"
"The warehouse that you put your mom's things in got broken into."

The nearly five hour flight should have made them tired, but instead the twins were filled from head to toe with energy – most of that being fed by anger. So, unlike their dad and his girlfriend who went to go eat lunch, they drove to the warehouse to see if they could catch any clues. Eliza and Killian stood in front of the warehouse, staring straight on at the splintered wooden door and pieces of it littering the ground around it. A few of the windows were shattered, some glass lying across the ground as well. Other than that, the building seemed perfectly fine. Nothing seemed to be damaged too much. But then again, a person shouldn't judge anything from the outside.
Despite the yellow police tape that was across the entrance of the building, Killian stepped forward first and went inside. Eliza waited a few seconds before following, and turned the flashlight on that was on her phone since the bulbs on the ceiling had somehow gotten shattered. By shining the light around and with the sunrays pouring out through the windows, she and her brother saw the full damage on the inside. The used to be neatly stacked cardboard boxes were knocked over; some even opened, making the contents of it spilling onto the floor. The metal shelves up against the walls were toppled over, making the belongings of Aria Norma be scattered and broken in pieces.
Killian locked his jaw shut in anger as he stopped in front of the only shelf left standing upright. Though, the anger soon morphed into confusion. His brows bunched together as he looked around the area. It was the least chaotic part of the warehouse. The only thing being broken was a vase that fell on the ground; everything else seemed to be in place. At seeing the broken vase, Killian bent down and looked at the fragmented pieces. He didn't recognize the dark purple color, or the two letters that seemed to be engraved in one of the pieces.
"Hey, uh, Elli?" Killian called out as he picked up a piece.
Eliza looked up from the book she was now holding and to her brother. "Huh?"
"Does anyone in our family have the initials 'MP'?" He asked, curiosity filling him.
"Um... No, I don't believe so," she responded. "Why?"
He slowly held up the broken piece of the vase for his sister to see as she walked closer. "Magical families like ours only keep vases with initials on them if its family. You know, to keep their spirits and stuff...it's kinda weird if you actually think about it."
Eliza took the object from Killian and inspected it. "I know there's a Maria but her last name starts with a 'T'." She handed it back to her brother. "Well, we got a loose spirit on our hands, brother. Let's go do some research, shall we? And we should probably put the vase back together."
"Yeah, we should. Along with finding whoever broke in here."

Dressed in her Vixen attire, Eliza sat on the skyscraper's roof, her legs dangling off of the edge. Her eyes glued to the city below her. For the life of her, the vigilante couldn't fall asleep – whether it was because of the snoring from her brother across the room, her mind figuring out what school work she was missing, or the nagging feeling that something wasn't right. So, she did the only thing she could think of doing during the middle of night: sneaking out of Stark Tower and, dressed as Vixen, waiting for crime to start.
More specifically, she was watching to see if anyone tried to sneak into the warehouse. With the view, Eliza was able to easily see the building and whoever walking passed, in, and around it. And so far, no one has acted sketchy and snuck in the building. There have been people stop and stare, wondering what had happened to the warehouse, but other than that no one has showed interest in trespassing. And, if she was being honest, it disappointed Eliza a little bit. She wanted to be able to catch the unknown culprit, ask them why the hell they decided to trespass and destroy the things inside.
And soon enough, she got the chance to do just that.
After hours of just sitting and watching, a dark cloaked figure slowly approached the warehouse before stopping directly in front of it. Eliza stealthily jumped to her feet, running and hopping from building to building without a sound behind made. Once she got on the roof of the warehouse, she quietly walked to the edge and stared down at the unknown culprit – watching as the person took their precious time in walking inside the building. Eliza jumped to the ground as they entered, making the tiniest grunting noise as she landed and causing the culprit to stop walking. The young adult tilted her head as she walked forward.
"So," she started, using her magic to change her voice in case it was someone she knew, "you're the ass that broke in here?"
There wasn't an answer, just silence.
"Okay, then..." Eliza walked closer and around the person so she was standing in front of them. She tried to get a good look at them, but because of the dark hood, the person looking down, and the shadows of the night it was difficult to find a face. "I'm asking you kindly, here. You don't want to see me when I'm mad, man."
Ever so slowly, the culprit lifted their head. Eliza thought she was going to finally get a face but all she saw under the hood were shadows, and shining golden eyes. "You don't want to see me mad, either, darling," a woman's voice replied cockily.
Before the vigilante even knew it the culprit had sent a large gust of air in her direction, and Eliza went flying back into the farthest wall. She hit the cement wall with a harsh thump, followed by falling to the ground and hitting her head against a shelf that had been knocked over the other night. Her vision then started to get blurry as she felt a wet substance trickle down the side of her face. She tried to sit up, but collapsed back on the ground. The last thing she saw before passing out was the woman taking a book and stepping towards her.

Peter sat down at the desk Tony Stark had given him to work on, setting the bag of food from McDonald's on top of it. He quickly fished out the burger he had bought and took a large bite out of it after unwrapping it, and closed his eyes momentarily in satisfaction. The boy had forgotten to grab breakfast before leaving for school, so by the time his class ended and on his way to Stark Industries, his stomach was empty; he practically felt like he was starving. He took a sip of his drink after swallowing the bite of the burger, and then stuffed his face with the French fries.
But the sudden sensation of something being wrong made him freeze mid-chew.
The brunet looked at the opened door entrance as he set the burger down and slowly finished chewing the fries. He gradually stood up from his seat, narrowing his chocolate brown eyes before starting to step forward towards the doorway – he moved the slightest bit faster at hearing a groan of pain. Once he got there, he poked his head out and looked to the left. No one was there; it was void. But then he looked to his right, and the sight of the anger-filled girl from school caused him to widen his eyes.
Her wavy hair was a knotted mess from both blood and sweat. Her face was pale, the blood trickling from the wound on her temple making a sharp contrast. The white tank-top she had on was stained with blood from the stab wound on her side, looking to be right under her ribs. The gym shorts she was wearing seemed to be a guy's – and somehow those had blood on them as well. Then on her feet there were only socks with penguins on them. She had a hand pressed to the wound on her side to help stop the bleeding, but slowly the girl was starting to loose conscious again, causing her to move her bloodied hand up against the wall for support.
"Get Tony. Now," Eliza forced out before starting to fall forwards.
Peter was instantly near her and caught her before she hit the ground, glancing around before picking her up bridal style. "Shit."
