Anna stared up at the sky for a second as she escaped from her homeland. It was....chaotic...But beautiful in a strange way. I need to find shelter......No, duh Anna. Where did you get so dumb? She thought bitterly to herself as she ran, dodging dangers as they came shooting down in her way. It felt like hours until she reached the city, better in the city than out here. She was already a little bit wounded, so she needed to get in the city. She didn't stop until she reached the city, and even there...It was all chaos. No escape. But at least she escaped her past...The past couldn't hurt her anywhere but her dreams. Even the thought of that made her feel nothing but dread. Stop it, Anna. The past is the past, it's time to move forward. There was a blast.....And everything went black.........

Anna woke up with the smell of pie entering her nose. She groaned as she forced herself to sit up. Just then, a small boy entered the room, looking around her age, giving her a smile while holding a freshly baked pie."Who are you? Where did you take me?"She asked him."Sorry if this seems weird, but you passed out and I couldn't just leave you there. Besides, it was the most ninja-like thing to do! And I do want to live up to their legacy! Sorry I ramble about the ninjas sometimes...."He said scratching the back of his head.

"Who are you again?"Anna asked once again."I am Arin. What's your name?"He asked. She was about to say Anna, but instead Sora. It suited her better now. Besides, Sora sounded much better than plain old Anna."Sora. Cool name!"He said."Thanks......So what were you talking about eailer? Ninjas? Are they like superheroes or something?"She asked totally clueless of what that strange kid was rambling about a second ago. His jaw dropped."Sora, you really don't know the ninjas? Then you must be from a different realm!"He exclaimed."Where did you come from?"She asked."Ninjago! Protected by the greatest legends that ever existed! I'll tell you some of their adventures! Prepare for your mind to be blown!"He exclaimed with excitement. Sora chuckled."I think.....I would like that."She said nodding. This. This is where she belonged, maybe the future would be brighter than she could have ever imagined......

Sora shot up from her bed. She frowned. Right now, the future didn't look so bright. Not without her best friend by her side. She glanced over at a picture of her, Arin, and Ryiu. She sighed."Things won't be the same without you, Arin."She mumbled. She didn't know what to think or do. Arin chose to go with Ras. In fact, he chose to help the person who had imprison and hurt countless dragons.....But then again, she hadn't been the best friend. She should have told him the truth....But how could she? It would have broken him...Well, he already is broken when she lied to him."We'll bring you home, buddy. I promise."She added.

"Use it when you truly need me."Sora heard, it sounded like the source dragon of motion. She then ran quietly out to the courtyard to see Lloyd holding a red dagger in one hand, and a picture of Arin in the other."Lloyd? What's that you're holding?"Sora asked curiously."Oh? This? The source dragon of motion gave it to me. Not only is it a weapon, but I can use it to call her help....And from the looks of things I might need to call her soon....."Lloyd answered looking at the picture."You said it yourself, we will find him."She said putting her hand on his shoulder giving his an assure smile."That's what worries me...."He whispered."What?"Sora asked."Ras found Jay and convinced him into believing that we were the enemy.....He might just do that to Arin. And....We can't let that happen."Lloyd said almost defeated."Master Wu wouldn't want you to give up hope. So don't."Sora told him.

Lloyd scoffed."He also apparently didn't want to tell us his mistakes that would come haunting not only him but also us."He muttered bitterly."You don't seriously believe that he, your master, your uncle started something so chaotic like the merge?"Sora asked in disbelief. Lloyd had always spoke very high of his uncle, it seemed so weird for him to speak that lowly of him."Well, this wouldn't be the first time it's happened. I just.....I wished that he would let us help him, as he once said we are stronger together! So why does he always insist on doing things on his own. If something was bothering him, we could have helped him!"Lloyd complained.

Sora crossed her arms and looked at him."What?"He shrugged."Your uncle reminds me of someone."Sora commented."What in Ninjago do you mean?"Lloyd asked."You. Before we left to find the temple of the dragon cores, you needed help with the monastery, but you didn't come to us. And then when you had visions you didn't let us help you right away."Sora pointed out."I just....Well.........Uh......Okay that's not fair and you know it."He said."Fine, but it's true Lloyd. And I thought you wanted to be more like him."Sora said."Things changed, Sora. Wu caused the merge, not only that but he caused a lot of other stuff too. But the question is.....Why? What made him do it? I thought I knew him, but of course I am left in the dark once again."Lloyd said, Sora was frightened by how defeated he was. As if he wanted to give up. As if reading her mind, he said:"I will never give up. Not at being a conduct(Correct me if I am wrong). Not at being a master. And most certainly not giving up as a ninja...."Sora nodded."I am so sorry, Lloyd. This. All this is my fault."Sora said."Yeah. It is."Lloyd mumbled."W-What?"Sora asked in disbelief.

"All of this is your fault."

"Useless child."

"You are the reason I am alone."

"Sora! SORA!"Lloyd yelled shaking her."Huh? What?"She asked feeling her head."Are you okay? After I said I wouldn't give up on all the things I am.....You blanked out, you looked so frightened.....Is everything alright?"Lloyd asked her filled with concern. Sora shook her head, she then gently pushed Lloyd's hands off of her, which hurt him, she could see it."I'm fine. I just really tired. You should get some rest too, Lloyd. You need it. FSM knows how you are not sick from the lack of sleep."She said, and with that she disappeared into her room, leaving Lloyd behind feeling confessed, guilty, and most of all hurt.

Sora laid in her bed for what seemed like years, even though it had only been an hour and a half. There was a knock. Then another."Sora. Please, it's me. Lloyd. Can we talk?"He pleaded. Sora didn't say anything, still wrapped in her thoughts about what she had just seen. How could she ever convince herself that Lloyd would say something like that? Lloyd had been a better parent to her than her parents could ever be."Please? I'm sorry, Sora. I feel like I failed, big time. I understand if you hate me. But.....When you are ready, please talk to me."Lloyd said. She heard him begin to leave, she then opened the door looking at him turning around."I don't hate you Lloyd. I just....Feel like this is all my fault. And it is. And.....I don't know what to do."Sora admitted.

Lloyd then walked over to her and then pulled her in a big hug."Don't worry. We will find a way. We have to."Lloyd assured her."I don't feel like sleeping."Sora admitted."Me neither. But I guess you already know that."Lloyd said breaking the hug putting his hands on her shoulders. Lloyd then smiled at her."Do you wanna talk until the time is right to go to bed?"He asked her."Honestly, I would like that very much."She said nodding. He then put his hands off of her shoulders and followed her into her room.

Just as they were about to sit down, Riyu came in and laid on the floor, also giving them permission to lay beside him. So Sora sat down, her back against Riyu. Lloyd grabbed a blanket and a few pillows."I miss him."Lloyd said."I actually had a dream. It was how I met Arin. If he hadn't found me, then I wouldn't be here. I'd probably be lost.....Forever....And now it's time I repay the favor."She said."That's the spirit."Lloyd said, sitting next to her."But....What if you are right Lloyd? What if Ras finds a way to convince Arin not only to see us as his enemy....But make him use shatterspin?"Sora asked. This made Lloyd frown."Let's hope it won't be too late for that. And tomorrow, I am going to start going after him."Lloyd said.

"You forgot about me, Riyu, and Wyldfyre."Sora pointed out."I've done enough damage. It's too dangerous."Lloyd stated."Lloyd. You just got out of a coma that was caused by Zeatrix shattering her sword at you. So, if you are going, then so are we."Sora told him firmly."It feels like I am talking to Nya."Lloyd chuckled. Sora smiled. They then talked for hours, Lloyd telling her some of his crazy funny stories with the ninjas, his adventures, and why he enjoys pillowmints so much. While Sora told him about what it was like living in the crossroad with Arin, her inventions, and why Arin's pies are the best thing she ever tasted. She would kill to just see him bake a pie for her. When Lloyd saw the time and how drowsy he and Sora were he said it's time to go to bed. He started getting up, but Sora stopped him."Uh, I'm not used to sleeping alone."Sora admitted. Lloyd smiled at her again.

Sora had used the exact words he used when he was way younger to Kai and Nya. Nya would gladly do it. Kai would, but when morning came he would tease him until....Well, he never really stopped. Lloyd then adjusts the blanket and his position. He then began softly singing a song his parents used to sing to him when he was only an infant. It was the only thing he remembered from those days. As he sang, he began stroking her hair as she fell asleep. As soon as she did, he felt himself fall into a deep sleep as well......
