Oneshot One

A/N: Sorry if you hate reading long author notes, but oh well! I will try to update this twice a week and sometimes even more. You may die from fluff overdose, and I'll try to make a decent sized chapter. Most oneshots will be random, but if you want, I may  countinue one on the more liked ones. Also! I'm trying for fifty parts in this series, so please comment and review! This is my first fanfiction, so don't judge. WARNING I will not edit my chapters so beware, there is a lot of typos and mistakes. Most of these chapters take place after Lodestar or they are in the future after the Neverseen is defeated. So LODESTAR SPOILERS.  Welp. I'll let you guys read now.

Running. Sophie ran down a long path to be surrounded by cloaked figures. She was yelling for Fitz and using her panic switch. Nothing. She looked over to see Mr. Forkle's dead body. One of the cloaked figures pulled out a melder and shot at her. The world felt like it was slow motion as the energy flew through the air. It was one foot away when Sophie screamed.

She bolted upright in her bed, her skin covered in cold sweat and goosebumps. Sandor ran in, holding two ninja stars." Miss Foster, are you okay?" He shouted, scanning the room for intruders. Sophie's eyes were filled with tears and she just sat there. Sandor looked at her face and sighed with his squeaky voice. He walked back outside her door to guard her.

Sophie held up a shaky hand. He's dead. Others nearly died. Why had that realization not hurt her until now? She let the tears flow. Why couldn't she be normal? Even if elves were far from it, she was ten times weirder than the average elf. Brown eyes. Teleporting. The girl who was taken. 'Died' and had a wanderling buried. Definitely too much pain.

She didn't realize it was finally morning until she looked up from her tears. She let out a few more sobs. She didn't feel guilty. Just miserable. She just sat there, sobbing. Someone placed a sturdy hand on her shoulder and an accented voice filled her mind, but softly, like a cloud.

"Are you okay?" She looked up to see his teal eyes filled with concern. She tried to speak but all that came out was another sob. He sat next to her on the bed. Sandor peeked in, unnoticed. These two needed this. Each other. Sandor smiled to himself. Sophie would never know HE hailed Fitz on Sophie's imparter, and told him to come over for early Cognate training.

Sophie was too lost in emotions to realize she had her head on Fitz's shoulder. Her eyes too blurred by tears to notice Fitz blushing at how his face was only two inches from hers. Sophie finally transmitted back to him after she stopped sobbing."I'm losing everything and everyone Fitz." She looked him straight in the eyes. He blushed at the intensity of her gaze. "What if I loose you too?" She softly transmitted.

(A/N: LOTS OF FLUFF AND MUSH UP AHEAD)

He sat there for a moment, not knowing what to say. Just gazing into her beautiful brown eyes. He meant to tell her sooner, but Keefe interuppted. He didn't trust his mouth to speak. So he pressed his lips against Sophie's, closing the gap. He wrapped an arm around her waist. He was going for it. Sophie smiled against his lips. He had her. He was there for her, every step of the way. So she pulled him closer. It felt amazing, like thousands of fireworks went off in her brain, and her lips had sunk into clouds. She ran a hand through his hair, messing it up as she went, but only caring about its silky feel against her hand. He did the same to her hair and they managed to pull each other even closer. Steps were heard coming up the stairs, but they were lost in each other. The moment felt perfect, if a bit overdue. They hadn't come up for air, it was too good.

The door opened and Grady came in, arms crossed. Sophie looked over and jumped across the room, blushing feriously. Fitz jumped in the opposite direction, holding up his home crystal. He light leaped away, leaving Sophie and Grady in the room. "So... Boys...." Sophie akwardly said. She shivered after remembering the 'Talk' Grady and Sandor had given her.

Grady gave a look that said this isn't over, and you're never hearing the end of it. She sighed and her imparter rang. She picked it up. Fitz was hailing her. His face filled the screen and he was a tomato, but he was still grinning like a mainiac. "That was amazing." He said.

"Why didn't you do it sooner?" She teased.

He smirked. "If I knew you tasted like that I would have kiss-"

He was interuppted by a frantic squealing and a girl shouting, "MOM DAD FITZ KISSED SOPHIE! HE KISSED A GIRL, REPEAT FITZ DID IT!" Fitz sighed. Sophie blushed when Biana stole his imparter. "You will tell me EVERYTHING. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE ME FOREVER!" She yelled. Fitz got back the imparter as Alden and Della came into view. He hung up and Sophie flopped onto her bed to have Edaline run in. Today was going to be a loooonnnggg day.
