They were gone. The Neverseen. But it was too late. The damage was done. They had done unspeakable things to Sophie before she was rescued a second time. The touches still burned. The cuts still there. Her mind still screamed. She still felt the phantom burns.  Their sick touch and cruel mind tricks. Tormenting her for the secrets in her brain and breaking her spirit. Five years had passed but the torment was still there. She had only been fifteen. The memories were imprinted into her mind.

Sophie's POV

I sat on my bed, waiting for the hours to tick by. Something interuppted my staring. I sighed, irritated. I focused my eyes and saw Keefe. "Oh hey Keefe, haven't seen you in a while." I said with disinterest.

"Yeah it has been a while..." Keefe said. He sighed. "Do you wanna join me and the group? We're getting our Matchmakers Scrolls, Biana finally has convinced Tam and Dex."

"Sure. As long as I can stare at my wall afterward." I said.

Keefe laughed and when saw my serious eyes, he stopped. He then smirked. "It sounds like you really utilize your time." I just walked with him to the Leapmaster in silence. We leaped to Atlantis and went through the whirlpool. I saw my friends and a small smile lit my face. I guess I had really missed my friends more than I thought.

Biana squealed and hugged me. "I'm so glad you decided to come!" She chirped. I shrugged. Biana frowned when she saw my choppy waist length hair. She gave me a look that said, 'we are fixing that later' then led us to the Matchmakers office. I zoned out and just did what people told me. Soon we all had scrolls in our hands, and we leaped to Biana and Fitz's home to open them.

We sat on a beautiful rug in her living room and counted down opening our scroll.

I started to get a little anxious.

2

Why would this affect me now?

1

I opened the scroll with everyone else, my nerves hyperactive. Everyone took turns reading out people they knew from top ten. It was my turn. "My seventh is Tam, my third is Keefe, and my first is..." I paused for a moment. I got Fitz. "Fitz." I whispered. I looked up and saw Biana looking at both of us. I could tell she was planning something. Then I remembered. Fitz got me as his first. I looked down, blushing. I still had a small crush, but most of the mind  tricks ruined my views of my friends. All of my friends.

I looked to Tam, who was trying to hide a smile. He got Biana as his first and Biana got him as her second. However, Biana was oblivious and just wanted to pair us. I winked to Linh. Tiana has been our OTP for a few years now and this was our chance. "How about we play truth or dare?" Linh asked, trying to hide a giddy smile. Everyone agreed so we started. "I'll pick first." Linh said. "Biana truth or dare?"

Biana chirped, "Linh I will take a dare!"

"You have to go outside and kiss..." Linh trailed off, making Biana nervous. "Tam." Biana glared at me when I high fived Linh. Oh darn. As Tam and Biana walked outside Linh added, "NO WIMPING OUT, ON THE LIPS." Linh and I had our, fingers, toes, and everything else crossed. Our OTP had a chance. I gave Linh a thumbs up, then I went outside to eavesdrop, I had mastered staying invisible for short periods of time, and if I used a brainpush it helped. I wasn't gonna be caught by anyone anytime soon.

-

I hid behind a bush just in case, and watched the two. Biana had her eyes on the floor, shuffling one foot. Tam was blushing badly and was looking at the floor also. This was gonna take a while. I decided to give Tam a push.

Go for it, I transmitted. I inflicted a little bit of courage on him. Tam lifted his gaze from the floor. He was still looking down though, because he towered over everyone in their group at 6 foot 6'. Biana finally looked up when Tam spoke. "Biana, look, I've liked you since the day I met you. Even though others think people like you for looks, I see you as the brave, bold woman who isn't afraid to stand up and give your opinion. I know you may not love me, but I care about you."

Biana waited a second before whispering. "Why didn't you tell me?" Tam was still, nerves waiting. "Cause I love you too." She then stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. I squealed inwardly. I was using my human iPod to record it all. This was better than human movies. Tam messed up Biana's perfect hair. I just gaped. Biana let Tam mess up her HAIR? They didn't move other than Biana tracing patterns down Tam's back. Tam had settled his hands at Biana's waist. I watched how long the video was getting. 10. 15. Were they alive? Biana stirredd, fluttering her eyelashes. She whispered, "Tam we have to go in before the others come out." Tam pulled Biana in one last time and broke away slowly. Tam sighed.

They held each others hands and walked in. I snuck in behind them before they close the door, and pretended to be walking away from the bathroom. I sat down and elbowed Linh. Linh looked at the iPod in my hand, which was open to Camera. In the corner it showed pictures. Linh squealed. Our OTP is for the win.

-

Biana smiled. "My turn!" She chirped. "I pick......" She looked at me, she knew I helped Linh. "Sophie."

"Dare." I said, immediately regretting it. Better than her scooping out my worst secrets.

"I give you the same dare Linh gave me. Except... You have to go outside with Fitz and kiss HIM." Biana seemed smug when both Fitz and I blushed. She made a shoeing motion. "Go outside. Stay there until you kiss him!" She called from behind us.

BTW: I tried to add the actual song issues, but wattpad hates meh so I'll be lazy. Check out the song, its really good. (One bad word warning, but i changed it on here.)

I shuffled my feet and closed the door behind us. I just walked to the garden and sat on the bench. Fitz sat next to me. I rubbed the back of my neck. Fitz slowly sang, his voice perfect:

"I'm jealous, I'm overzealous. When I'm down, I get real down."

"When I'm high, I don't come down. I get angry, baby, believe me." I sang. I was shocked at how beautiful my voice came out.

"I could love you just like that." He scooted next to me.

"And I could leave you just this fast." I scoot back, standing up from the bench for room.

"But you don't judge me. 'Cause if you did, baby, I would judge you too." He sang, standing next to me.

"No, you don't judge me. 'Cause if you did, baby, I would judge you too." I sang back, walking down the path, arms crossed.

"'Cause I got issues. But you got 'em too." He followed me deeper into the gardens.

"So give 'em all to me. And I'll give mine to you." I stopped in my tracks and looked back at him.

"Bask in the glory. Of all our problems." He grabbed my hand.

"'Cause we got the kind of love. It takes to solve 'em." We sang together. I gave him a small smile.

"Yeah, I got issues. And one of them is how bad I need you." I slapped a hand over my mouth and flushed red.

"You do stuff on purpose. You get mad and you break things. Feel bad, try to fix things. But you're perfect." He gave me a small smile.

"Poorly wired circuit." I sang, keeping my head down.

"And got hands like an ocean. Push you out, pull you back in." He sang, then grabbed both of my hands. He spun me slowly and I smiled. We waltzed our way back to the bench.

"'Cause you don't judge me. 'Cause if you did, baby, I would judge you too." I sang softly, sitting down on the bench.

"No, you don't judge me. 'Cause you see it from same point of view." He sat next to me, his hand on top of mine.

"Cause I got issues. But you got 'em too. So give 'em all to me. And I'll give mine to you. Bask in the glory. Of all our problems. 'Cause we got the kind of love. It takes to solve 'em." We sang in harmony. I scooted closer, my shoulder against his.

"Yeah, I got issues. And one of them is how bad I need you." He sang.

"And one of them is how bad I need you." We sang together.

"Cause I got issues. But you got 'em too. So give 'em all to me. And I'll give mine to you. Bask in the glory. Of all our problems. 'Cause we got the kind of love. It takes to solve 'em." We continued.

"Yeah, I got issues. And one of them is how bad I need you." I sang.

"Yeah, I got issues. And one of them is how bad I need you." He sang. He leaned closer, his face an inch from mine.

"Yeah, I got issues. And one of them is how bad I need you." We sang together, closing the gap. Clouds filled my mind, clearing out all false visions that had filed in years ago. Fitz had both arms around my waist, I had one hand in his hair, the other tracing spirals down his back, making him shiver. I slowly pulled back. He reluctantly released me as I stood up. He stood with me. I leaned against the wall, brushing my hand against the patterns made with the stones.

Fitz POV

It was pure bliss before Sophie stood up. I slowly released my hold and followed her to the wall. She leaned against the wall, hesitant to go in. I slowly scooped her up, my arms beneath her knees, holding her in front of me, pressing her back to the wall. I saw the fear in her eyes and transmitted, You okay?

Yeah just... False Memories...

It's okay, only me. The real me.

Fix me. Tears were falling down her face.

You don't need fixing... You're.... Perfect. I slowly leaned foward, giving her a chance to move. She stayed still, pressed against the wall. I gently kissed her, still holding her up.

Sophie's POV

I breathed him in, enjoying it before we would have to go back to truth or dare. He slowly let me down, pulling back. I sighed against his lips and felt the ground beneath me again. I looked up at him. He was very tall, and nearly as tall as Tam at 6 foot 5". He sighed too. "We can do that later silly." I teased. He blushed and I smirked. It was fun to not be the one blushing.

I grabbed his hand and led him to the doors. I fixed his hair and I fixed mine from being against the wall. I pushed open the door, poker face on. I wasn't exactly letting them know I enjoyed it.

-

The evening continued, with many dares performed. A few times the others would squint at Fitz and me, trying to discern what happened outside. I smirked. Sometimes being mysterious payed off.

-

Soon, everyone had left except for Linh and me. We were sleeping over. We got ready to go to sleep and laid out on her soft rug in her room. "Sophie will you PLEASE tell me what happened?! You two were outside for a half hour."

I smiled to myself. "Cause I got issues. But you got 'em too. So give 'em all to me. And I'll give mine to you. Bask in the glory. Of all our problems. 'Cause we got the kind of love. It takes to solve 'em." I softly sang.

Biana frowned. "I'll ask Fitz."

"You can try in the morning." I said. I faked a yawn and settled in my sleeping bag. They yawned and snuggled into their sleeping bags. After a few minutes I snuck into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

I entered the already lit up kitchen. Standing there, waiting, was Fitz. He stalked towards me, him the wolf, me the prey. I raised up a hand in truce. He stopped and I grabbed a glass of water. I held it in my hand, sipping it. He slowly resumed movind towards me and wrapped both arms around me from behind. His arms crossed over my stomach and stayed there, warming me up. I leaned back on him and looked in his eyes. I shivered. No. No. Not now.

-

Fitz held me in his arms still. I sighed, not a manipulated memory. Then his pupils narrowed and his mouth... Are those canines? I felt his hold on me tighten, no escape. I stood there, not moving in fear. He slowly moved foward to kiss my jawline, clipping my skin with his oversized incisors, I just watched the blood slowly drip to the floor. Running down my neck, and down my arm.

I felt the primal instinct to run, yet fear made me stiff. I dropped  my glass, shattering it. The only part of my fear frozen body that would move. I couldn't inflict. I couldn't do anything, just watch.   He kissed me on the lips, gentle then forceful. I bucked in his embrace and fell to the floor, hitting my head.

-

I rubbed my head and sat up. Biana and Linh? No... It was an illusion. Then what really happened? Biana and Linh left the room when Fitz pushed them out. I let out a few tears and a sob. Fix me. I transmitted.

Fitz smiled softly. Okay. He sat on the floor next to me. He cupped my face in one hand.  He leaned foward, and I did the same. He kissed me softly and we both pulled back.

That won't fix me. I transmitted.

If you go out with me, it'll fix you.

I smiled. Okay you goofball.
