I'm a little numb, so if the character's emotions are lacking, please understand that it's the fact that my grandfather (my last grandparent) passed away.

"Wha-what did Sophie just do?" Dex said, almost as if he hadn't seen Sophie like this, Of course, Dex hasn't seen Sophie like this, Fitz thought. Sophie had done this only about 3 times, and even then it was only on him and Keefe.

"Don't worry, Soph's fine. I'll go talk to her, Dex." Biana comforted. Biana had often ended up doing the work of comforting Sophie. Dex just nodded, letting go of Biana's hand so she could go take care of Soph-zilla. She gave Fitz a disapproving look like, it was his fault, which it was, although he wouldn't  admit it for the life of him.

As Dex and Keefe started talking letting Fitz think about this whole situation, Fitz realized he didn't know very much about the whole soulmates thing. "Hey guys? I'm gonna head to my dad's study to look up something. You guys stay here, okay?"

Fitz knew this was a risky plan, but it was the best plan and it didn't involve Iggy being thrown into an incinerator, so really it was pretty decent compared to what he thought of before.

So instead of going to his father's study like he told Dex and Keefe, he went to the Leapmaster, and being the irrational skunk he is, he went to the Forbidden Cities, and it's called "Forbidden" for a reason.

Unlike Sophie, Fitz knew virtually nothing about human culture, so researching about soulmates in San Francisco was probably not the smartest idea. Maybe it was, but it probably wasn't, even though it didn't involve black-mailing Sophie.

Even though Fitz had been to the Forbidden Cities many times before to search for Sophie, he still knew virtually next to nothing about San Francisco. So he decided to go to a place called 'The Library" as a starting point.

As Fitz walked in, he knew he was in the right place, so he decided to ask a wrinkly old woman for help. "Excuse me ma'am, but can you tell me wearing to find books about soulmates please?"

At first, the lady was very confused by his accent, but she pointed him in the right direction, and that's all that matters.

He went over to a shelf and picked out an extremely heavy (and dusty) book and placed it on the table. He sat down at one of the many vacant tables, and it must've been a site for sore eyes; a 21 year old elf reading a book about the chinese version of Soulmates, and Fitz had to say that it was pretty well written, even if it was hard to read it since he wasn't a Polygot.

And even though Fitz seemed harmless, another person, he was an elf by the look of things, came over and strangled him, dragging him out of the library. He took a cloth most likely filled with chloroform and muzzled Fitz with it.

Fitz was slowly losing consciousness, and the last thing he could do was transmit to Sophie. Forbidden Cities, SF, kidnapping, help! He sent, even though he knew it probably wouldn't end up making it to her.
