It's things like this that show why I'm bad at social interaction XD

Date: earlier this year.
Okay, so backstory, I was out with a friend and a friend of a friend (she's cool though) for lunch and shit. We went to this kind of 80's style restaurant. It was pretty cool. We were ordering food (it was mainly a burger restaurant) (they had given them interesting names.) I wanted a chicken burger (they called it the reverse cowgirl 😂😂) but I also wanted a side dish of pulled pork and chips with cheese and stuff.

So both my friend and her friend ordered before me, so far so good.
Then it was my turn.
Cue facepalm.
I don't really know what happened exactly, but it went something like this.

Cashier guy: what can I get you?
Me: *unsure if I should say chicken burger (there were several) or Reverse Cowgirl. *scenarios run through my head of me embarrassing myself in front of these random people*
Me: *fully aware of how bad I am at socialising*
Me: *inhales*
Me: canigetthereversecowgirlburgerwiththepulledporkandchipswiththecheese?

Cashier: ...
Cashier: would you like chips with the burger?

Me: *is unsure if he is talking about the pulled pork*
Me: ...
Me: yes.
Me: *hopes he's not talking about regular chips*

So, I ended up paying about $40 for the burger, the pulled pork chips with the cheese sauce, and regular-chips-that-I-didn't-want -_-

And before you ask, no I couldn't eat it all.

And yes after i'd eaten as much as possible, I asked them I put it into a take away container. I don't like wasting money.

But ten minutes later I somehow managed to have some delicious ice cream  😂🤦‍♀️ it was really good though.

(Hours later I ended up giving the take away to my brother for $2 cause the pulled pork was chillier than I thought it would be. That was all I had left pretty much anyway.)

The moral of the story here is that I should probably consider ordering online from now on.

Ok, so it was short and boring, but I get annoyed everytime I think back to it.
