This happened today. 30th of Dec 2020.

So... I went out for cookies & cream cause I like wasting money I don't have. And I had a gift card from Christmas (thanks mum lol) and at checkout, the guy was like "card?"
and I'm like "uh, I actually have a, uh, gift card." and he nods and asks me if it's full amount and I'm thinking: wtf does he mean? I'm not spending twenty dollars on two items??? So I ask him to repeat himself because THAT makes everything clearer. (🤦‍♀️🙄)
Then I just say yes because I was panicking 😂
but it came out in a "YES. YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS" tone.

He does whatever on the screen then puts the swipy thingy to me and tells me to swipe then enter the code.
Me, not knowing you even swipe gift cards: *awkwardly swipes. It's upside down.* the bloody guy has to do it for me. HE EVEN ENTERS THE CODE I JUST-- I hate life. Socialising isn't in my vocabulary 😂
Btw this guy is my age. From my maths class. So he KNOWS me 😂😂🤣
I'm never leaving the house again.
