"We need three medics here. NOW." You rush to bring the child to the emergency room. You pick him up and place him onto the operating table. His dad bangs on the door demanding to be let in.. "WHATS GOING ON! SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON!" Your assistant tells him "Sir, please calm down. The life of your child depends on this. He may not live very long if nothing is done." "WHAT?! WHATS WRONG WITH MY BOY?!" The dad slams harder on the door. Three surgeons burst in past him and you immidiatly get to work hooking up the child to anesthesic and oxygen. Once he is subdued, you gently cut a small slit across his chest, and ever so slowly make the cut bigger. After you cut through the layers of fat and muscle, there is something immidiatly wrong. All his organs have been moved to the side to make way for a tiny tube varying in size and complexity running from his vocal cord around all of the organs and continuing back up. You have never seen anything like this, but can immidiatly notice what's wrong. The tube has squeezed his lungs so much that they can't take in enough air to properly operate his body. Cutting the tube would be catastrophic as it would lead all his oxygen into his body, inflating him like a balloon and making it so he couldnt breath. You you quickly get to work untangling the cord from all of his vital organs. There seems to be nothing wrong after that, but you're still wondering. How could this happen? How would this affect his speech, and how this boy is still alive?! You close the incisions and stitch back together the cuts. The child must be hospitalized for some time to heal, but it's a miracle that he's still alive.
