"Okeydokey," Sonic said while talking on the phone with his boss. "No problemo."
Tails was in the kitchen heating up some chili dogs.

"Tails, I have good news, and bad news."

"What is it Sonic?" Tails replied with a worried look on his face.

"The bad news is I have to stay in work for a bit longer this week."

"Aww! No fair-"

"But the good news is that Amy is throwing a party next week and we are all invited!"

"Cool!"

"Annnd I get off of work early at the end of the week!"

(In case you are wondering, Sonic works at a business office and makes a ton of money there. This is a fanfic. It doesn't have to make sense :). Sonic = 19 Tails = 16 Amy = 18 Knuckles = 20 Shadow = 19 Cream = 15)

*Time Skip*

Sonic and Tails were getting up and ready to go to work and high school.

"Bye Tails! Catch you on the flip side!" Sonic yells out to his two-tailed fox friend.

"Bye Sonic!" Tails yelled back. "Why is something bothering me about Sonic? He's just so... handsome."
