"Princess," Happy said, shaking me slightly to wake me. I groaned and rolled away from his touch.

"Get up."

"Hold me?" I asked, reaching out to pull him into me. I grabbed his hand and tugged it slightly. He just chuckled and remained where he was.

"Princess, we need to talk," he said.

"Hap can't we just lay together tonight?" I asked, turning to look at him. He sighed and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"I thought you were dead."

"I thought I was too."

"What?"

"When they took me. I wanted to be dead. Trust me Hap."

"Why?"

"The shit they did to me. I've been raped every day, sometimes multiple times a day. They always offered me drugs and alcohol and shit but I refused it."

"I'm sorry."

"Happy it isn't your fault."

"I should've been there to protect you."

"No one thought anyone would ever dare to take me from you. Did you find out why?"

"He'd had a crush on you for a long while and knew you'd never leave me for him."

I sighed and turned into the pillow and groaned.

"Of fucking course," I said. Of course I'd known who it was the second I saw his face. He'd worked at our bank up in Tacoma and he'd tried to hit on me a few times but knew I was with Happy and wouldn't give him up.

"Hey, you're with me again. And I'm never letting you out of my sight again." He rubbed my shoulder a little and I smiled over at him.

"I know Hap."

"Princess, we don't have to stay in Charming."

"I don't mind. I'm not sure I can't go back to Tacoma anyways."

He nodded.

"Hap, please, just relax and lay with me."

"I still can't believe you're back."

"Believe it. Cause you're not getting rid of me."

He smiled over at me. "I don't want to."

He leaned down to kiss my lips gently. He pulled his boots off finally and leaned forward with his elbows on his knees.

"Go shower and relax babe," I said, reaching over to touch his arm gently.

He just shook his head. "I can't."

"Hey," I said softly but he wouldn't look at me. "Baby, look at me. Please."

He finally gave in and turned to me slightly. He wouldn't look up and I knew then that he was crying. I kicked the blankets off of my body and moved as close to him as I could. I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head on his arm.

"Hap, I'm okay. I'm home. I'm safe. Please, relax baby. You're worrying me."

"I still can't believe you're here and alive."

"I am baby," I said. "I'm really here."

"I love you Princess."

"I love you too Hap. More than you'll ever know."

I held him for a long while as he cried silently. I rubbed his arm and back as he cried into my shoulder.

When he'd calmed down, he took a deep breath and pulled away from me a bit. I smiled at him a little. He never cried so it always worried me when he did. I'd only seen him cry two or three times before tonight.

"Are you feeling better?"

He nodded and rubbed my hips.

"I need to shower," he said.

I nodded and kissed his lips gently. I moved away from him and allowed him to get up. I cuddled back into the bed as he walked off. He was gone only a few minutes before he returned and laid down with me.

"I love you Princess," he said, pulling me into his chest.

"I love you too Hap."
