Snowflake - Jax

Trigger Warning: mentions of prostitution, doing crank, and murder.

Description: Happy's daughter shows up at the lot looking for her father or her uncle. When Jax greets her he's instantly curious about the girl and the curiosity isn't one sided.

Jax POV:

I watched as some young girl turned and walked onto the lot. I could tell from here she had endured some shit but I wasn't entirely sure what. I turned to glance at Ope and he'd noticed her too. I walked out of the garage and headed over to her.

"Hey darlin, what can I do for ya?"

"I'm looking for Happy Lowman, or Herman Kozik," she said softly. She kept her eyes on the ground as she hide behind her long black hair.

"Yeah, who should I tell 'em is looking?"

"Just, uh, just tell em Snowflake's here," she said. I wanted to question her more about it but she looked terrified and like she was about to collapse from the heat.

"Alright darlin, I'll go see if I can find em. Why don't you go wait in the office, it's air conditioned," I said, pointing to the office that I knew was sitting empty. My mom had taken Abel home because he hadn't been feeling well. She nodded and went to sit down so I ran into the clubhouse.

"Where's Hap?" I asked.

"Dorm," the prospect said. I nodded.

"Get me a water then go tell him a girl showed up said Snowflake's here."

"Where is she?" Kozik asked, immediately jumping to his feet.

"In the office," I said and he bolted out the door.

Y/N POV:

I was sitting in the office alone for only a few minutes before my uncle Kozik was running over to me.

I'd lucked into finding Charming and started asking where I could find the Sons because they could at least get in touch with my dad or uncle.

"Snow baby," he said, pulling me immediately into his arms.

"Koz," I said softly as I held onto him for dear life. "Where's Dad?"

I'd barely gotten the question out as my father was sprinting across the lot. Koz stepped away and my father practically tackled me in a hug.

"Baby," he said, clearly not thinking it was really me.

"I'm so sorry Dad," I said.

"It's not your fault (Y/N)," he said.

I sobbed into his shoulder for a while. I was hungry and in pain and really just needed someone to watch out for me so I could catch up on six months of lost rest.

"Are you hurt?" He asked. I nodded a little and he became angrier if that was even possible. There was a knock on the office door. The blonde who'd greeted me at the lot was standing there holding a water bottle. He handed it to me and looked between my father and uncle.

"Can you go get Chibs?" Kozik asked softly. "She's pretty banged up."

The blonde just nodded and glanced at me once more before walking out of the office again.

"You've gotta tell us everything Snow," my dad said.

"I was kidnapped by that guy I had the date with. He tried to get me to turn tricks but I wouldn't. He forced drugs into me to make me compliant. I ran the second I could. Been trying to find the sons for the last week or so."

"When was the last time you used?" Kozik asked. I knew he was worried about me because he'd been a junkie once too.

"Spent my last bit of money for a wake up this morning," I said, sobbing softly.

"Hey, we're gonna get you clean don't worry baby," Koz said, kneeling down in front of me.

"I've been trying to wean off it but it hurts so bad all over," I said.

"I'm gonna kill that fucker," my dad said.

"I did," I said. "Had a guy who kept coming back to me and I got on his good side. Got him to deal with the fuck for me. Up in Oakland. I think he was a one niner."

"You tell him who you were?"

"No," I said. My father just nodded as the blonde returned with an older gentleman with scars on his cheeks.

"Snow baby, this is Chibs. He's our club medic," my father said. "Where all are you hurt?"

"My ribs are bruised but I don't think broken, and I've got some nasty cuts on my hips."

"Can I see lass?" Chibs asked as I winced slightly as I moved so he could take a look. I'd bandaged my cuts up myself that morning after the fight in which I'd received them.

"How'd this happen?"

"Got into a fight with a hooker," I said. "She was trying to steal my money."

The men all just shook their heads and Chibs removed my bandaging job and looked them over.

"How much have you had today?" Kozik asked.

"I told you just the wake-up. I only had like $20 or $30," I said.

"Lass, you've gotta have something in ya cause those cuts are clear to the bone. I can't fix these. You need a hospital," he said. My dad and uncle were looking at one another.

"They'll help with the detox too," Kozik finally said.

I just nodded. I knew they were right.

"Lets go," my father said before helping me up. They took me down to St Thomas and I was almost immediately sedated as my wake-up was wearing off and I was starting to want more crank.

I was out for several days, or at least that's what my dad told me when I next woke up.

"How ya feeling Snow?" Kozik asked.

"I'm fucking exhausted," I said. "Fuck, never let me near that shit again, please."

"You're not leaving Charming unguarded and that shit doesn't come into Charming," my father said. I just nodded and continued to lay on my bed.

A little while later the blonde showed up and told them he needed to talk. After about five minutes the blond walked back into the room. He was wearing the Vice President patch along with some others.

"Hello darlin," he said as he sat down. "I'm Jax. We found some of the guys who got you hooked on that shit to let your dad take his aggression out on."

"Good," I said. "I feel like shit."

"I bet. Withdrawal fucking sucks," he said.

"You're telling me."

"You're doing significantly better than Kozik was expecting," he said.

I just sighed a little before answering. "I'd been trying to wean myself from it. I'd never wanted it in the first place. I'd been there when Kozik came to the Sons looking to get off the shit and back into the club. I helped Dad detox him. Promised them both I'd never touch the shit."

He just nodded a little. "So, what's the deal with the names Snow and Snowflake?"

I laughed slightly at the memories. "When I was really little my abuela lived in Washington with my dad and I. It snowed a lot, and I always wanted to be out in the snow. Abuela told me a couple times that I was just like a snowflake, completely unique. As I got older I told her that was because I was raised by her and an MC. I don't know. I guess Abuela calling me her little Snowflake just stuck and my dad and uncle shortened that to Snow."

"I never knew Hap had a kid," he said.

I just nodded. "Quinn and Kozik helped keep me pretty well hidden. The guys in SAMTAC knew about me because after my abuela started to get sick I had to be around the club more."

He just nodded. We spent the next few hours talking. Eventually though, I fell asleep with thoughts of the blonde man who was sitting next to me plaguing my dreams.
