Description: Happy's girlfriend is forced into a lock down for the first time ever except she knows nothing of club life and what is going on.

"(Y/N)," my boss said, peeking around the corner. "The phone's for you and it sounded urgent. Take it in my office."

"Thanks," I said and headed off to the office for some privacy.

"Hello," I said.

"Hey baby," Happy's voice came through the phone.

"Yeah what's up?" I asked.

"I have one of the prospects from the MC on his way. When he gets there you need to leave with him. I'll explain everything when you get back to TM," Happy said.

"Happy I can't just leave work," I said.

"Baby, I know I haven't told you much about the club but when shit goes down we keep everyone close. You can go back to work the day after tomorrow with one of my guys to protect you."

"Hap," I said.

"Baby, please," he said. That was how I knew this was serious. He has never sounded so desperate in the four months we've been together.

"I'll tell em you had an accident at work and one of your coworkers is on his way to take me to you," I said softly.

"Thanks babe," he said.

"I'm gonna need answers Hap," I said.

"I know babe and you'll get them just go with the prospect. He should be there any minute."

I nodded before remembering Happy couldn't see me. "Yeah."

"Bye babe," he said softly and the line went dead. I hung up and wiped my eyes. Luckily my stress induced tears would help me get out of here. I stepped out of the office and my boss was waiting for me.

"My boyfriend had an accident at work," I said. "They think he's okay but he's on his way to the hospital. One of his coworkers is on his way to get me. I'm so sorry."

I pulled the sleeves of my company sweatshirt onto my hands and wiped the corners of my eyes.

"Go. Take tomorrow off too," my boss said.

"I'll call tomorrow and let you know when I can be back," I said. The other employee that was here turned the corner with Rat behind her.

"He said he's here for you," she said. I nodded and my boss hugged me before letting me leave. I work for a small mom and pop store in downtown Charming so being here is like working with family.

"Hey," Rat said, wrapping his arm around my back as I walked by him. He was one of the few guys in the MC that I've met. Happy wanted me to stay far away from the club, probably because it's dangerous.

"Hi," I said softly as I stopped behind the counter to grab my purse. Happy had brought me into work this morning, and now I was leaving on the back of Rat's motorcycle.

When he pulled up to my house I looked at him confused about why we were here.

"Pack a bag," he said. "Whatever you need to be gone from here for at least four days."

I nodded and headed inside with Rat right behind me. He stopped just inside the door and kept watch as I ran to my room and threw clothes for a few days into the bag. I tried to pick as light as I could, taking only the essentials.

"Happy's on the phone," Rat said, standing in the doorway of my bedroom.

"Babe," I said, taking the phone.

"Look, Rat will get you to TM and show you to my dorm. You can wait there or he can introduce you to everyone. I'll explain as soon as I can," he said. "I have to go."

"I love you Hap," I said.

"I love you too little girl," he said before the line went dead. I quickly finished up packing, but froze with my hand on the zipper.

"You okay?" Rat asked.

"That was the first time I told him I loved him," I said as I finished zipping the bag. Rat just looked at me like I was crazy.

"I'm driving myself," I said as I walked through the living room and grabbed the book I'd started reading the night before off the table.

"I can't let you," Rat said.

"I didn't ask," I said. "I can drive myself the three blocks to TM. You can follow me in case anything happens."

He nodded and I grabbed my keys and headed out to my SUV. I got in and started some music as I thought about Happy. I was worried about him. He's never been so adamant that I go to TM before in our relationship. He tried to keep me away from there. I pulled into the lot of TM only moments after having left my house. I parked my car and got out.

"Get your bag," Rat said as he walked over to me.

I grabbed the duffel and headed in to the building that wasn't the garage.

"Rat," I said as I noticed everyone here.

"Hap said you'd freak out about all the people, so just come on," he said. I nodded and followed closely behind him as he made his way down to the back hallway. He turned the corner and opened the door with SA on the front. I knew it was Happy's because I'd seen the SA patch on his kutte.

"Send Hap up when he gets here."

Rat nodded and shut the door as he left. I sat down on the bed and stared at the wall wondering how I wound up here.
