Make This Work Part 2 - Jax

It's been a couple of weeks since Jax and I got into it over us both cheating on one another. Things have been getting better, but last night he went on an overnight run. He called me pretty late last night to check in and see how I was doing. I appreciated the effort on his part.

I was sitting in the living room, watching some dumb romcom and drinking wine when Jax got home.

"Hey baby," I said as he hung his kutte by the door and kicked his sneakers off.

"Hello darling," he said. He sat down next to me and pulled me into his arms. The movie was almost over. All that was left was a cheesy marriage and cut to a perfect family.

"We should get married," Jax said.

"Mhm," I hummed in agreement.

"Seriously," he said, leaning a little to grab something out of his pocket. "I bought it last night and I was going to wait and make it perfect and show you how much I love you. But I can't. I want to do this. I want us to be together and to make this work."

"You know just getting married won't solve all our problems, right?"

"Obviously not," he said. "But I want you to be mine in every way possible."

He flipped the ring box in his hand open and held it out to me.

"Will you marry me?" He asked softly as I stared at the small diamonds set in the band.

"Yes," I said softly, leaning over to kiss his lips. He took the ring and slid it onto my hand.

"I love you (Y/N)," Jax said.

"I love you too," I said.

Jax and I, mainly I, spent the next few months planning the perfect wedding. Everything was ideal. When the day arrived I was beyond worried. I felt like I might puke as Donna and I got ready.

"Am I making the right choice?" I asked.

She nodded before hugging me quickly. "Of course you are. He loves you." I nodded and we headed out to walk down the aisle. My father met me outside the dressing room and about cried.

"You look stunning," he said. I thanked him before we stepped off.

Honestly, the whole ceremony was kind of a blur. Jax's eyes were the only thing I could focus on. I was so nervous that I figured I'd pass out on the spot if I looked anywhere else.

"And-." Opie prodded Jax along. I blushed before the words even left my husbands mouth.

"And I promise to treat you as good as my leather," Jax said before the rest of the club joined in. "And ride you as much as my Harley."

I felt the blush on my cheek grow as I smiled at Jax.

"You may now kiss the bride," the preacher said and Jax wasted no time in pulling me into a kiss.

The rest of the day flew by and before long we were headed out to the cabin for our "honeymoon" that wouldn't last more than two days before they'd need him back.

"I am so incredibly in love with you Jax," I said softly as we walked into the cabin.

"Not as much as I love you (Y/N) Teller," he said.

I hummed a little in agreement. "I could get used to the sound of that."
