Locked Out - Kozik

Description: Kozik's old lady locks herself out of her car and has to call the garage so he can come unlock the car.

I sighed, looking down at the twins in the cart. I'd needed just a few groceries so the twins and I ran to the store for them but the icing on the cake of today is that I locked the keys in my car.

I sighed and dug my cell phone out of my bag. I quickly dialed the TM number as I rocked the cart a bit to keep the twins calm.

"Teller Morrow," Gemma's voice came through the phone.

"Hi Gem," I said.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine. The twins are fine. Koz is gonna kill me but I locked my keys in the car. I'm at the grocery store."

"You know Koz and Hap are on tows today."

"I know Gem," I said.

She yelled for Kozik and told him he needed to come let someone into a dark colored Chevy Equinox.

"Is it (Y/N)?" His voice was faint but I could hear the annoyance.

"Just go." It sounded like the office door slammed. "They're on the way baby."

"Thank you Gem," I said.

"Of course. Now hey, we're having family dinner tonight at my place. I'm sure Kozik didn't call you."

"He did. I was working on some cookies to bring with us."

She laughed a little.

"Oh baby," she said. "You don't need to."

"I want to Gem. I know how much our boys eat."

"You are quite right there. So we'll see you and our babies about 6:30."

"We will be there Gem," I said. "The babies could use some Grandma snuggles."

With Kozik not talking to his parents and mine back in Tacoma, Gemma became grandma to our babies quickly.

I saw the tow truck turn the corner and Kozik looked angry already.

"Alright Gem they're here. I'll see you tonight."

"Alright baby. Tell him to take it easy on ya."

I laughed and told her goodbye.

When Happy parked the truck next to my SUV, Kozik was yelling at me instantly.

"Hey, relax," I said. "I just locked the keys in the car. We're all okay."

"Babe," he said. "What are you doi-?"

"I'm still an adult. I can handle the boys just fine. We needed some groceries."

"I'm just worried. I'm sorry."

"Overprotective. Now will one of you two please get my car unlocked so I can get home and finish the cookies?"

Happy looked at Kozik to do it because he was making faces at his nephews.

"Seriously man?" Kozik asked going to get the stuff.

Happy just ignored him.

"How're the boys?"

"Precious little angels."

"They haven't started to act like their father," Happy said causing me to giggle a little.

"Not yet," I said. Kozik paused to glare at me. I smiled at him.

"And how's the most beautiful woman?"

"I'm standing right here brother," Kozik said as the door opened and he grabbed the keys off the back seat.

"I'm great Hap."

He kissed my temple and grabbed one of the carriers to get the boys loaded in the car. Kozik grabbed the other and I put the few groceries I had on the floorboard of the passenger side of the car.

"I'll see you two later," I said. I kissed Kozik goodbye and waved to Happy.

"Family dinner," Kozik said. I nodded in response. "I'll be home to help get the boys ready and escort ya."

I nodded again and we shared I love yous before he left to return to work.
