I Hope You Do - Happy

Description: You and Happy are supposed to have a movie night but the club has to go into lockdown, ruining your plans.

I glanced down at my ringing cell phone. Happy. If he was calling to cancel movie night I was going to kick his ass.

"Hey baby," I said.

"Hey, we have a problem," he said. "The Irish are pissed so you're going to have to come to the clubhouse for a lockdown."

"Hap," I whined a little as I grabbed the last of the snacks for our movie night.

"I'm sorry babe," he said. "But I need you safe."

"And I needed date night with my old man," I said. "I'm about to checkout. I'll be there as soon as I swing by the house and grab our bags."

Within twenty minutes I was sitting on the bed of Happy's dorm. I'd snuck my laptop and a few snacks into my bag in case Happy actually got the chance to be here. I knew that was wishful thinking but it was what got me through the rough times.

I stood up and headed out into the clubhouse.

"Hey baby," Gemma said as I walked over to her and Unser.

"Hey," I said. She wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

"What was it this time?" She asked.

"We were supposed to have a movie night tonight and I'm really bummed that we had to cancel," I said.

"Well it was cancel or be killed," she said. I rolled my eyes at her "attempt" at comforting me. She always wanted to appear to like me to save face but she doesn't really like me much.

When Happy transferred here from Tacoma, I came with him. I'm the only old lady to have agreed to move, probably in the history of the club. Most the time when men transfer they leave their wives and children in their hometowns if they have them. Happy refused to do that to me so he offered for me to move here with him and I agreed.

"Wanna play a round?" Lyla offered, walking over to me with a pool cue in her hand.

"Against?" I asked.

"Nero," she said. "Someone needs to kick his ass."

I agreed and took the cue from her, making sure it felt okay in my hands.

"Who's breaking?" I asked.

"Ladies first," he said. I nodded and set up to break.

He got two turns in the whole game.

"How?" He asked.

"Cause she's my old lady," Happy said, wrapping his arms around me.

"We used to have team tournaments in Tacoma at a bar my friends really like so Happy and I got good and won every time," I said.

"You're good," Nero said. "I'll give you that."

"Thanks," I said. Happy wrapped his arms around me tighter and apologized for having to run off again.

"It's okay," I said, kissing his lips and telling him I loved him before he left.

After a few more games of pool and a bottle of beer I called it a night. A few people complained that the night was still young, but I was still pretty upset about losing my alone time with Happy. I headed to his dorm and showered quickly before dressing in one of his SAMCRO shirts and some booty shorts.

I laid down on the bed with my laptop, figuring I might as well get some work done. I'm a writer, well aspiring writer. I have to finish a few more chapters before submitting a rough draft to my editor.

A couple hours later Happy walked in.

"Hey baby," I said as he sat down in the chair by the bed and took his boots off.

"Gemma said you came up a few hours ago," he said.

"I'm still pretty upset," I said.

"About tonight?" He asked. I nodded. He pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it into the basket.

"I'm sorry love," he said. "But we're in for the night so I can still watch a movie with you once I shower."

"Sounds good," I said. He nodded and walked off to the bathroom and I grabbed my computer charger and the snacks from my bag. I got everything set up and waited for Happy.

"You were hoping for this the whole time," he said with a chuckle.

"Well, yeah sort of," I said, leaning into his bare chest as I started Space Jam.

"I love you baby and I'll make it up to you the second we're outta here," he said.

"I'm gonna hold you too that old man," I said.

"I hope you do little girl."
