Description: Chibs puts your mind at ease the night before he leaves for Ireland to search for Abel.

A knock on my door had me jumping to answer it in seconds.

"Hi," I said, opening the door to Chibs.

"Hello love," he said. I returned to the couch and Chibs grabbed a beer before joining me.

"When do you leave?" I asked, referring to his return to Ireland to search for Abel.

"Tomorrow," he said. I nodded a little and he wrapped his arm around me pulling me to his side.

"I'm going to miss you," I said softly as the movie I'd been watching ended.

"I'll miss you too," he said. He kissed the top of my head and I sighed softly. I never felt more content than when I was in Chibs' arms. He had this ability to make me feel safer than ever before and I didn't want to give that up for what could possibly be months. I knew that was selfish but I couldn't help it.

"It's getting late," Chibs said. I nodded a little and we headed to my bedroom without further verbal communication. I got ready for bed and returned to Chibs laying in my bed waiting for me.

"What's wrong doll?" He asked. I walked over and laid down beside him, curling into his side instantly.

"I know it's selfish but I don't want you to leave. I know you have to go find Abel and believe me, I want you to. But I don't want to give you up for a whole month or more."

"I'll be back before you know it. You'll have to pick up even more at TM so you won't even have time to notice I'm gone," he said.

"I know, but with your head injury should you even be traveling?" I asked.

"I was cleared so I'm going to be fine. What's really bothering ya?" He asked. At moments like this I hated that he knew me well enough to know I was avoiding what I really wanted to say.

"Fiona," I said. "I'm scared you'll go back and woo her again and I'll lose you forever."

He chuckled a little. "I'm not wooing anyone but you my love. I choose you, everyday."

"I know," I said.

"And, I will call you as often as I can and I will make sure Kozik keeps an eye on you," he said. I smiled softly.

"Always gotta protect me," I said.

"Of course I do, you're my old lady after all," he said. I nodded a little and leaned over to kiss Chibs. He deepened it quickly before shifting so he was hovering over me.

"One last time before we are separated for a month?" He asked. I rolled my eyes a little bit pulled him into another kiss.
