How Long? - Tig
Description: Clay's daughter has a secret relationship with Tig and when they try to use her to benefit the club all the secrets get spilled.
Being Clay's daughter means that I can't be myself around the club. I have to hide who I truly am because my father would murder anyone who laid their hands on me. Even if that someone was his Sargent at Arms, Tig Trager.
Tig and I have had a relationship for a couple of years now. It started as casual sex and when my father did his last stint in County it became a full blown relationship that we've kept a secret since.
"(Y/N)," my step brother said. I glanced up from the invoices at the blonde. "We need ya."
I nodded and followed him to the clubhouse. He dragged me right into Church and I got nervous.
"You and Hale were close in high school, right?" My father asked.
"Not like super close, but we'd hook up at parties and stuff," I said, glancing anxiously around the room.
"We need you to get close to him again. Get him on the club side before Unser retires," my father said.
"It's not really my thing to be exploited or to lead someone on like that," I said.
"We'll cut you in. Hundred bucks," Jax said.
"I'm glad you're able to put a price on my femininity," I said. "I'll talk to him but I'm not leading him on."
"Damn it (Y/N)," my father yelled. I shrunk a little at the sudden increase in volume. That didn't escape Tig as he looked at me, worry obvious on his face.
"Fine," I said. "It's gonna cost you two grand though."
"Five hundred."
"Fifteen," I said.
"Seven."
"Thirteen."
"One grand," my father sighed. I nodded.
"Can I go back to my work?" They nodded and I returned to the garage.
A few days later, I was at a bar, waiting for Hale to come in. The guys told me that he frequents this place after work.
"If it is isn't (Y/N) Morrow," Hale said. He ordered two beers and sat down beside me.
"How's it going David?"
"Just peachy," he said earning a fake giggle from me.
We talked for a few hours before he asked me to grab dinner with him the following evening. I agreed and we headed our separate ways.
I pulled up to my house and Tig was sitting on the porch.
"Hey baby," I said as I walked up to him. He nodded and followed me inside.
"I don't like this," he seethed. I'd barely gotten the door closed.
"Yeah and who didn't want to tell my dad about our relationship," I said.
"We decided that together. I saw the way you flinched when he yelled in church. I know how he treats women. I don't want you to die," Tig said.
"I know baby," I said. "If we come clean though, you can move in here and we can start our fucking life."
"He's gonna hate me," Tig said. "I don't want him taking that out on you."
"I know," I said. We sat on the couch together for a minute.
"I hate this," I said after a long silence. "I feel like I'm cheating on you."
"We tried fighting it baby," he said.
"Shits gonna blow back when I leave Hale in the dust," I said.
"Clay don't give a shit."
"I do though," I said.
Tig pulled me into his arms. I started crying as he held me.
"We come clean," Tig said. "I'm not putting you through this anymore."
"I have dinner with Hale tomorrow," I said. "I'll tell him so we need to come clean to the guys."
"The morning at TM," he said. I agreed and we headed to bed.
The following morning, I rode on the back of Tig's bike to TM. When I stepped off my father was instantly pissed at me.
"The hell are you doing with him. We told you Hale not Trager," he was yelling as he walked over to me.
"Clay, don't be mad at her. I was the one who told her to keep our relationship a secret," Tig said. He was standing in front of me defensively.
"How long?"
"Two years," Tig and I responded simultaneously.
"You have his crow?" Clay asked.
I shook my head. "Can't be his old lady til the club knows. I have AT tattooed behind my right ear to hold us over."
"I want her to have my crow and my last name," Tig said. "I love her and god damn I'm not going to make her hide anymore. I'm not going to hide it anymore."
Clay threw a punch and Tig ducked it. I didn't have enough time to react so the blow landed square in my left eye. My hands flew to my face as I stumbled back into Tig's bike. I watched as Tig attacked Clay, but I only saw two hits before Chibs was blocking my view of the fight.
"Lemme see lass," he said, carefully moving my hands away from my eye.
"Split them up before they kill each other," I said softly as I cried. "Please."
"Jax will love, let's get you some ice." I nodded and we headed into the bar where Chibs got me an ice pack and I held it to my eye.
Ten minutes later Tig walked in looking for me. He looked like shit. He had a number of cuts on his face and his hands. He was bleeding from his nose and had bruises forming under his eyes like his nose had been broken.
"Tiggy," I said, dropping the ice and running to him.
"I'm okay baby," he said. I hugged him tightly and he winced. "Got some to the ribs too."
I released him instantly. Chibs started to clean him up so I went back to my ice pack.
Once Tig was cleaned up, we headed home for the day, figuring it was safer for everyone involved. About 6:00 I was dressed and waiting for Hale since he'd been insistent on picking me up.
A knock on the door let me know he was here.
"Bye baby," I said softly. Tig was asleep on the couch so I headed out to the front door.
"Hey," I said softly as David's jaw dropped.
"What the hell happened to your face?"
"Family problems," I said.
"Got anything to do with the bike in your driveway," he said. I nodded a little.
"Look, David, you're a great guy so I don't want to waste your time. The club wanted me to get close to you and sleep with you so you'd get on their payroll. I agreed but Tig and I have been dating secretly for two years so we had to come clean this morning. Clay swung at Tig and got me instead," I explained.
"You didn't want to date me?" He asked.
"No, I told em I wasn't the type of girl to lead a guy on," I said. He chuckled and nodded.
"Thanks for being honest," he said. "We can still get dinner as friends, unless you've got a boyfriend to tend to."
"He's asleep but he's pretty beat up," I said. David nodded.
"For the record you're still the prettiest girl in Charming. Tig's a lucky guy," he said. "And if shit ever hits the fan, I've still got you."
"Thanks David," I said, hugging him quickly. He left and I returned to the living room.
"Tig baby, let's go to bed," I said.
"How was dinner?" He asked as he woke up.
"I didn't go. Told David everything here. He and I are good," I said. Tig nodded a little as he stood up.
"Can we order takeout?"
I agreed and placed the order before Tig pulled me onto the couch with him.
"I meant what I said earlier," he said, pulling something out of his pocket. "I want you to have my last name."
"I love you Tiggy," I said softly.
"Seriously babe, will you marry me?" He held up a simple engagement ring.
"Of course I will Tig," I said. He slid the ring onto my finger and kissed me quickly.
"So crow?" He asked. I nodded. "I'll call Happy and get him working on a design."
"You're amazing," I said softly before pulling him into another kiss.
