Sonnet XLI, His Discernment Comes
Sonnet XLI, His Discernment Comes

Within domains she found his life so dark,
His times disbursed were pointless, resolute
Attempts to grasp, become the hosting ark,
With confidence, non-corrupt, a shoot
Of wisdom. She says to him, "Now, Awake!
Arouse, for you have slept too long, now pivot,
Discernment comes to you; renew, remake,"
And she does topple his decline from merit.
She molds afresh his kindest life desires,
Until each day this realm will build their dreams,
Alas, his wisdom gives, a life rewires.
His breath will come and go, and who redeems
Must break the glass, and see the earth secured.
Perceptions say just when the world's inured.
A/N: This is an English Sonnet. It consists of 14 lines with 10 or 11 syllables using iambic pentameter, 10 is more common for this style, but sometimes 11 is added to break the monotony of the iambic pentameter, or get the meaning across to the reader.
