Where Sonnets Come From

The sonnet comes from a near time or near yesterday's emotions. Other sonnets of mine are derived over decades as a poem evolves with age, wisdom, and garnered skill from reading others, being mentored, and a will to improve the craft. Other poems come from a closer space than near time sparked by a flame lit within the universal library of knowledge where writers, artists, composers, inventors, and creative minds coven from time to time where each takes back with them a part of knowledge. Otherwise, I put pen to paper and write and the words come. The mind is multidimensional as is the universe made of the same stuff. As quantum physics teaches that all is intertwined either as an accidental entanglement or by a diagram, all is an expression of oneness viewed in individual reflections of self, however, not everything is expressible in words for they exist in the realm of non-thought. We try to express our non-thought experiences and what we do is come closer.
