Lead Weight: Origin

People... Are not born equal. That's the hard truth that he learned at the age of four. But that... Was his first and last setback. It all began in Keikei City in China... With news that a bioluminescent child was born! After that, "Exceptional" individuals began popping up all over the world. The cause was unclear. Time passed... And the "Exceptional" became the norm. Fantasy became reality. At present, 80% of the world's population consists of superhumans with special abilities. The world is in chaos! And a profession that everyone once dreamed about... Entered the spotlight! And that was...

The Hero.

He always enjoyed hearing that story. It told of the origins of the world of Heroes, who used their various Quirks, their powers, to aid those in need. Not only that, but his own life mirrored that of another Hero of his time as a Hero- Deku. The new Number 1 Hero. He was inspired by this Hero's backstory. Izuku "Deku" Midoriya- Age- 26, Quirk: Superpower. Coming from a background of bullying from his best friend when Izuku was thought Quirkless, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a Hero, and the top one at that, and all at the young age of 18.

But their motivations for doing so were vastly different. While Deku had a sense of duty that makes him act without thinking, he couldn't be any farther.

Spencer McCormick- Age- 26, Quirk: Leaded Body. This quirk allowed Spencer to possess the qualities akin to the pure element of lead. His blood was that of molten lead, and his muscles was that of pure lead, his bones of ivory. When exposed to moist air, a protective film of varying compounds spills through. The area around his eyes was a different matter though. The area around his eyes was so hot, that it generated a spark, which ignited a bluish-white flame to surround it. Didn't help that his skin had a slight tinge of a silver grayish blue, and his face was always emotionless, so he gave the appearance of a villain. A drawback of his quirk was that he was too dense, as he couldn't keep himself afloat even if he wanted to, not with a density of 11.93 g/cm3. And with only a hardness of 1.5 on the Mohs Scale, you can bet that his body can take a reasonable amount of damage before denting.

But he didn't let that stop him from becoming a Hero. And Deku inspired him to do so. Possibly one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet- figuratively AND literally. But let's get on with the story.

Spencer walked into the gray, barren building. As always, his co-workers greeted him with smiles and raised cups of coffee, and Spencer returned the greeting. And he continued to walk into his office in the agency.

Like always.

And while he seemed as if he didn't know it, but he knew what some were thinking. 'He always just nods his head at us, why does he never talk to anybody?' He just ignored them all, and walked into his cubicle, pulling up a chair to his desk, as he began to look over the large stack of paperwork that he had to deal with.

Several minutes later, he heard a quick rap on his office door. He turned his head to look at the person who had done so. And he was greeted with the Number 1 Hero himself- Deku, or as Spencer knew him in High School, Izuku Midoriya. And at the moment, he was dressed in a full on suit, with a bright red tie to complement his forest green hair. "You have a moment?" he requested.

Spencer blinked at him, confusion present in his eyes. That wasn't normal. Usually Deku was too busy to talk to his sandy brown haired friend. Being the Number 1 Hero surely had its perks, but it kept him extremely busy, to the point that he didn't seem to have any time off. Spencer looked up from the paperwork, "Yeah, what's up?" he answered.

Deku looked around the cubicle, somewhat nervous. "May I?"

Spencer realized what he had meant, and nodded his head. Deku then walked in and shut the door behind him. He briskly walked over and sat in the chair in front of Spencer's mahogany desk. "What's up Deku?" he folded his hands on top of the desk, as he glanced at the Hero, who took a deep breath, his fists clenched tightly on his legs.

Now Spencer was worried. "What's wrong?" he boldly asked again.

Deku threw his head to look at Spencer's grayish blue eyes, and boldly stated "I need your help."

Spencer looked at him as if he were a madman. What was plaguing Izuku to the point of asking for his assistance? He knew for a fact that Deku was a far more intelligent person, and his quirk was refined to the point that he could use a good 30% of his full power.

"I have a tiny problem that I can't deal with on my own..." he emphasized on tiny, and made a motion with his right thumb and pointer finger, and brought them close. Spencer noted the sarcasm in his tone.

"What happened man?"

"Remember Tomura?"

"Regrettably, yes." Spencer brought his left arm to grab his right wrist. He remembered how Tomura attempted use his quirk on Deku, but Spencer brought his hand to intercept the hand's trajectory. After all five of his fingers clasped over his hand, his hand began to decay and crumble to dust.

But that was eight years ago. And that was the day that Deku became the Number 1 Hero.

Deku always felt guilty for his title, as he wouldn't have been alive if it weren't for Spencer's interference. But Spencer had reassured him that it would be fine, and that he'd follow suit rather quickly.

Unfortunately, due to his injuries, he wasn't allowed to do actual Hero work- Patrols, arrests, rescue, etc. And all of that because his hand was gone. He couldn't blame them though. Spencer had a hard time adjusting to his prosthetic hand, and for half a year afterwards he suffered from PTSD, and couldn't even look at it. He would even to this day, sometimes feel the burning sensation at the end of his wrist.

"What about him?" he stuttered. His right hand was shaking, and he clenched his left hand over it.

"How do you feel for a little real Hero work?"

That one question brought life to Spencer's eyes. Was this for real? Could Spencer finally be able to don his Hero costume once again? "W-Well yeah of course. It sucks, being cramped here in this small cubicle. I want to be able to spread my wings and soar, for the place that I've always longed and dreamed for."

"Here's the thing, though- It needs to be...." he paused to find the right words, "Under the table."

"Oh." was all he managed before the office door was swung open, and a blonde haired woman entered.

"Izuku, Mirio will see you now." was all she said before exiting.

Deku sighed. "Well, if you're up for it, meet me at Magatama Jewelers at 4 o'clock today, I'll give you more details on that later. See you Spencer."

Speechless, Spencer waved him goodbye as he stared off into space. Deku was planning on going about on his own?! Spencer wanted to prove his worth to society, that he isn't some paper-signing disappointment of a Hero who has PTSD episodes, but that he is a real Hero.

But was this opportunity worth taking? Was it worth the scandal it could pose if found out? Vigilantism was illegal after all, but was it worth it?

Spencer knew immediately what he'd do as soon as the words left Deku's lips. He knew in his heart what was the right thing to do. With that thought in his head he got to work.

Before Spencer even realized it, he was standing outside of Magatama Jewelers, and staring blankly at the store. "Of all places to meet up..." Spencer muttered, almost disappointed that this is where Deku asked to meet him. Spencer sighed, and swung the briefcase he held over his shoulder. He looked at his watch.

4:10 pm. Deku was late. Turning his head both sides, he attempted to find his forest green haired friend. He then felt a tap on his shoulder. "What the?!" he exclaimed. He glanced over his shoulder quickly, seeing Deku right there, and Spencer had to hold back a laugh. "What happened to you?" he asked.

Deku was wearing dark suit, with dark shades that covered his noticeable freckles, and black fedora. Wrapped around his neck was a dark gray infinity scarf, which covered his mouth as he sighed. "You do realize I need this so I don't draw the attention of them." He put emphasis on them.

Spencer understood what he had meant. Paparazzi. They followed his every move after an incident several week prior. Spencer felt bad for the Number 1 Hero. "Anyways," Deku moved on, "I got approval from Mirio, with a condition..."

"What did he say?" Spencer asked.

"He told me as long we don't get caught..." Deku trailed off.

"I see. What's the gig?"

"Tomura has attempted a comeback."

"Really? When did he escape from there?"

"Why have I never heard about this?"

Deku scratched the back of his head, "Media would've blown it out of proportion, so we decided to have it kept a secret so not to cause public duress. Besides," he leaned over to whisper into Spencer's ear, "To be honest, apparently the Hero's Association wanted to let him think he has escaped successfully."

Spencer brought a hand to his chin. "Okay, what does this have to do with what we're gonna do secretly?"

"Several days ago, Tomura took Kacchan and Uravity, and wants me to meet him..."

"And?"

Deku smirked. "I know it's a trap, so-"

"You're requesting for my help."

"You know I can't do it alone."

"I know... No need to remind me about that. He still gives my jittery hands you know." To prove his point, Spencer held up his trembling hands so Deku could see them quivering. He backed up a bit and fell backwards on the wall harshly. He felt no pain.

"Hey... Hey Spencer, I promise you this..." Deku kneeled over to Spencer, and put a hand on Spencer's upper arm, "If you come with me, I promise that no harm will befall you... I swear this..."

Spencer looked over at him. Deku's eyes were filled with determination as he boldly stated, "Or I am not the Number 1 Hero!" Spencer noted that there was a sparkle in his eyes. Something was... Different about Deku's eyes.

Deku used to not be able to look Spencer in the eye. His guilt of what happened with Tomura, and he couldn't blame him. After all, Spencer took the fall for Deku's mistake.

And Deku promised him that he wouldn't make the same mistake again.

Spencer then shakily nodded his head slowly. "Okay," he consented, slowly standing as he did so, "When do we go?"

"Do you have your Hero Costume?"

"Of course I do. It's packed in the bag right here." he patted the suitcase with a hand.

"Then let's find a place to change."

It didn't take long for the duo to find a suitable place at the outskirts of town, but how Deku knew a place like this even existed this far from town?! That didn't matter at the moment, as Deku stopped right in front of a run-down shack. Its door luckily still worked, so it provided sufficient cover for the duo to dress into their Hero Costumes.

After Spencer dressed into his suit, he moved around in it for a bit. It wasn't often that he could wear his suit, so he wanted to make it count. His face fell for a moment, and Deku asked "You alright?"

Spencer shook his head. "A little bit. Although I'm more nervous than anything... It's just that-"

"You'll be fine," Deku reassured him, "Trust me: I'll be there to help. And if anything goes awry, you can use my shoulder to cry on." The duo let out a laugh.

"Well then... Let's get going then."

"Of course." Deku rummaged through his suitcase, and pulled out a piece of paper, and on it, there was a nearly illegible scrawl on it.

"How can you read it? I can barely un-"

"Give the guy a break. If he used all five fingers, the pen would've decayed. Besides, I know where he wants to meet."

"Where?"

"The same place as always-"

"The former parking garage..." Spencer finished. He the sighed deeply, and clenched his fists tightly. "Well then, let's not keep him waiting."

It didn't take too long for the duo to reach the parking garage. After all, they two of them have been frequenting this place for over a decade now. Why they did so, Spencer couldn't remember the reason.

Spencer used an arm to feel his face. He felt his mask, so he let out a sigh of relief. He then used the same hand and snaped in front of his eyes. Immediately a spark ignited, and his eyes were engulfed in the blue-white flame that he had become familiar with over the years.

The parking garage however, was in worse shape than originally thought. It was more run-down and pale, its walls crumbling more the higher the elevation, the top floor caved into the fifth floor, and the first floor was in perfect condition. Yellow caution tape surrounded a perimeter around it. And luckily for the duo, there was nobody to be seen for miles.

"Come on in Spencer." Deku said, motioning for Spencer to move forward, and he did so.

"Why me?" Spencer asked him. Deku stopped and turned to him.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Why did you choose me for backup? I'm not even a real hero..." Spencer trailed off.

"Hey!" Deku grabbed his shoulders, "Don't say that!"

"But it's true I-"

"So? Does it matter if the media branded you a failure?!"

"Yes, it do-"

"I'm not done yet. Back then, you saved my life, and that cost you a hand and your career. And all because I made a mistake!"

Spencer was caught off guard. Deku continued his rant, "Back at UA High School, I thought that you were superior! You had two votes for class rep, remember?"

Spencer blinked. Deku was right, Spencer did have two votes. "I was one of them! I thought that with your brain, and your skill to relate to anybody you meet and to actually tolerate them, I decided that you deserved the spot! I also only made it to Number 1 Hero because of your actions! I can count on you! Your strength doesn't rely on your quirk! It's your ability to adapt in the face of adversity, and to face it with courage! So, let's go!"

After this speech, Spencer nooded. And with his confidence restored, the duo headed off to the parking garage.

It took them about half an hour to reach the topmost floor, where Tomura was waiting, his back turned towards them. Or, as the general public knew him: All For One.

He looked far worse than the last time that Spencer had seen him. His limbs were more wiry, and scars lined across his arms, stopping midway up his upper arm. His baggy black T-shirt hung loosely over his torso, but was torn a bit thee closer to the bottom it got. His jeans on the other hand, fit him just right, and he wore black sneakers.

"You actually came..." his raspy voice surprised Spencer a bit.

"I did," Deku agreed, "Just like you said..."

All For One turned around, his white hair fell down, and his face still had the silly hand prop attached to it. "I see you brought a friend..." Spencer could tell that he was smiling, "Oh, what a surprise... It's Spencer after all... Tell me," he took a step forward, "How is that hand of yours?" he mocked him.

Spencer felt anger swell in him, but he ignored him. "It's actually all fine," he remarked, lifting his prosthetic hand, "You see? It's all better now."

All For One laughed maliciously. "Of course," he cackled, "Only you would say that... Others would've never had the courage to face me."

"I am NOT like others..." Spencer seethed.

"Don't let him rile you up," Deku whispered, "That's just a ploy to get you to rush into things..."

Deku was right. Spencer used his hands to clap his cheeks harshly, clearing his thoughts.

"Where are they Tomura?" Deku asked the white haired male.

"So now you ask... How impolite of you, after all, I invited you here." the skinny male remarked.

"You are testing our patience All For One." Spencer said.

The white haired male's face fell. "Don't use my Teacher's name. EVER. Got it?" All For One's fists clenched tightly as he said so.

"Hit a nerve did we?" Deku questioned, stepping forward.

"Your friends, Number 1 Hero, are on this navigator." With four fingers, he held up a small device.

"What?" Deku asked.

"Oh, I mean their locations are on it. Not them literally. I have a N- A friend there for surveillance. If you show up without this device, then they'll kill the both of them." He smirked evilly.

"How did you even get Kacchan, if I may ask?" Spencer implored bravely.

"Anything is easy when you use chloroform." All For One answered.

"Let me venture a guess, you want us to fight you for this device, and then reach the location marked here?" Deku checked.

The white haired male smiled. "Of course." he confirmed, his body changing into that of a combat stance. He used a teleportation quirk to whisk away the device. "Come at me with everything you've got... Heroes." He spat out the last word.

Deku immediately went into Full Cowling, and charged right at All For One, who just sidestepped to dodge him. Spencer then went to throw a punch at him, but the white haired male just caught his fist with three fingers.

"Is that ALL you've got Spencer?" he mocked, "Years wasted from trauma, all be-" Spencer cut him off with another fist to the side of his face, and Tomura went flying fifteen meters before skidding to a halt.

All For One rubbed his cheek, still smirking. "Seems I've hit a nerve..." He slowly began to step forward, and the duo watched him approach.

Spencer froze in place. He was perplexed, but he knew that All For One was right. His trauma prevented him from fulfilling the dream that he had longed and dreamed for. He felt the dripping sensation of fear- And it disgusted him for feeling it here at this moment. But he co-

"Spencer!" came Deku's voice, dragging Spencer from his thoughts, "Get it together!" His voice seemed strained. He looked over his shoulder, and he understood why.

Deku at the moment had charged at All For One, and was intercepted by Tomura himself, and Deku was caught with his hands trying to prevent All For One's hands from touching his face. Spencer then managed to run over and tackle the white haired male and he judo threw him across the open area. All For One smashed into the wall, and the wall cracked. A lot.

But Tomura just picked himself out of the crater that his body created. "Looks like you've got some spunk there boy!" he taunted.

Deku picked himself up, and dusted his clothes. "You alright?" Spencer asked, keeping his eyes on the skinny male.

"Yeah. He's not easy for me to predict." he replied. He let out a sigh. "That was close. TOO close..."

"Don't let him touch you man."

"Like you're one to talk." Spencer glared at him. "Just kidding." he held up his hands in defence.

Deku than launched himself at All For One, and the white haired man did the same. All For One's right arm began to double in size, and pale green, blue, and purple gems sprouted from it, and Spencer recognized it: It was just like the fight with the original All For One, Tomura's mentor, and All Might, Deku's mentor.

Tomura brought his fist downwards, and Deku countered it with a swift right downwards helicopter kick. All For One's punch grazed Deku by a slim margin, and Deku fell on his stomach as the white haired male fell on his back. "You know," Tomura's voice groaned out, "I've always hated your guts," he stood up, "Your altruistic attitude," he stepped forward, "Your love towards helping others," he stopped in front of Deku, "But most of all..." he reached down and grabbed the back of his suit, "YOUR ADMIRATION TOWARDS ALL MIGHT!!!" he yelled as he threw Deku towards the opposing wall hith his still augmented arm.

Deku hit the wall with a deafening CRACK! And Deku coughed up a mixture of blood and spit, as he let out a painful, blood curdling scream. He fell to the floor, his arms twitching, his body unmoving.

Spencer couldn't believe his eyes. Deku, the Number 1 Hero, had fallen unconscious, and by a single throw. Spencer turned to face his opponent, who had steam rising from his right arm as it returned to normal. "What are you going to do now, Little Hero?" tomura stepped towards him.

"I..." Spencer didn't know what to do. He wasn't a quick thinker like Deku, nor was he as strong. 'I can't do this...' Spencer thought, when he remembered what Deku had told him, and it echoed through his mind.

"I thought that you were superior! Your strength... Your ability to adapt in the face of adversity, and to face it with courage!"

Deku had given him his belief, and here he was, ready to run off by telling himself that he isn't ready. Deku hadn't just brought him here as backup, Deku had brought him here for a different, more heroic reason-

He had wanted to give Spencer the chance that was robbed from him years ago. This was his chance to become the Hero he's always wanted to be.

With a newfound determination in his soul, he turned to face All For One, whose hand prop fell to reveal his crimson red eyes, and his heavily dry face. "How unfortunate that he's out of commision... I was looking forward to seeing the look on his face when I beat the living daylights out of him... But nonetheless..." He walked over, flames now engulfing his arms, "I can't wait to exact my revenge on you..."

"Why's that?" Spencer began to rub off his skin around his hands, to reveal the pure leaded muscles that lurked beneath the thin layer of skin.

"It's because of your accident that I was captured. You see, you were unconscious, but you bought Little Izuku enough time to get me bound up. All because of your sacrifice."

"Sacrifice?" Spencer stepped forward, "Was it a sacrifice? 'Was it worth it?' 'You are a failure.' 'You are unfit to be a Hero if you get PTSD that easily...'" Spencer took another step forward, his resolve becoming even more firm.

"Huh? What is this nonsense?"

"The Media dubbed me, 'The Heroic Failure' and all because of you. They labeled me, and the public felt pity on me... My co-workers even felt bad for me, but on the inside, criticized me for what happened. And it was all thanks to what I did... I had thought 'What would Deku do?' And I knew..." He stood three paces from All For One.

"And?" Spencer could tell that the white haired male was growing impatient, as his fists clenched, the flames becoming a bit uncomfortable for Spencer.

"What I did that day was right!!!" he yelled, swinging an arm back, "I moved before I could think! THAT'S WHAT A TRUE HERO IS!!!" Spencer's fist collided with Tomura's crossed arms, and they both stumbled back. Spencer shook is hand quickly, and Tomura used the fire quirk to slow his fall.

Spencer gave no second thought, and he ran towards All For One, and brought his leg to kick his unprotected side, and the skinny male had coughed a bit of blood. "You may have disabled Deku, but I'm still here... He has no need to fear... For I am here!" Spencer smiled a bit as he said so, and All For One grimaced.

"All Might's catchphrase... Irritates me!" He charged towards Spencer, who used his arms to parry the blows that Tomura had thrown at him.

He then eventually got a hold of one of his arms, and he threw him over his body and onto the floor. Tomura then spawned a crystal stalagmite from the small of his back, forcing Spencer to move back. All For One Stood up, patting his attire of any dust put on him.

Spencer could tell that he was getting exhausted, and that he needed to knock him out before he could do anything. He reached for his toolbelt, and grabbed his gun. The Model 6b-87, a special model fit for Spencer and his quirk.

He clicked the button on the front of his toolbelt, and he heard a tiny ding, signaling that he was ready to fire the gun. While All For One was distracted, Spencer prepared the final move. 'It's now or never,' he thought.

Tomura turned around to see Spencer backing up, with the gun in his hand. Spencer smirked, and the white haired male's eyes widened. Spencer jumped and was thrust forward by the contraption, accelerating as fast as a bullet. Spencer pulled the trigger, and the lead-coated pellet was shot into All For One's arm, and the pettet's contents expanded, engulfing everywhere around the arm attached to it and the ground unmoveable.

Spencer's pure leaded body crashed full force into All For One, with an astounding 10 g's of force colliding with All For One's body. "You're done for!" was all he managed before colliding with Tomura.

And with that, Tomura crashed into the wall, and slumped, unconscious, and all Spencer had suffered with was mild dizziness. "I-I did i-i-it..." Spencer fell on his back, panting. He did it.

He had taken down All For One.

It took Spencer a while before he had recovered from his dizziness, which took longer than anticipated. He then cuffed Tomura in quirk suppressing handcuffs, and called Mirio.

"I see," came his boss's voice, "So he's out of it?"

"Even he couldn't be awake after I collided into him with 10 g's..." Spencer responded.

"And Young Izuku?"

"Several cracked spine vertebrae, but nothing he won't die for." Spencer looked at the device that All For One had. "Mirio?"

"Yes?"

"I need to-"

"Go right ahead, Hero."

Spencer felt his eyes tear up. That's a title he hadn't heard in years, aside from Deku. He tried to hold it in, his lips quivered, hands shaking, his vision blurred. "Go on Young Spencer, cry. No need to hold back anymore, I know how you felt. I too was once unable to work as a Hero."

That was it. Spencer began to cry, his hands wiping his face as the pearls streamed down his dirty cheeks. He cried loudly, joyfull at the occasion of his first victory. "Atta boy." was the last words his boss spoke before he hung up.

Spencer, still sniffling walked over to Deku's body, and patted his back.

"I did it Deku... I did it right."

"You sure showed him." Deku managed weakly. Spencer smiled.

"I can't believe it..."

"I can... Like I said, I believe in your strength, now go... Get our friends.

"What about you?"

"Mirio sent help, and Tomura ain't waking up anytime soon... So go." Spencer nodded, and with the device, left.

The location of their friends was at an old abandoned factory. It was worn down, time taking its toll on the building. It was easy to access, and not a single civilian for miles. Perfect to hide some Heroes.

Spencer walked inside the building quite eagerly, ready to see their friends again. Inside the building, sure enough, was a Nomu- a mindless, multi-quirked shell of a human being, handcrafted to kill All Might. The Nomu didn't move at all, which didn't surprise Spencer. After all, the Nomus only acted with orders. And in the very center of the room-

Was Uravity and Kacchan, tied up back-to-back and gagged. Spencer ran over to them, and cut off the rope that bound them, and the duo of captives pulled out their gags.

"Where the heck is that useless excuse of a Hero???" Kacchan demanded.

"That's not how you should greet the man who rescued us..." Uravity chastised.

SPencer laughed.

"What's so funny Spencer?" Kacchan asked.

"Oh, it's nothing... Deku's back where Tomura is, with several cracked vertebrae. He sends his regards," Spencer chuckled, "Glad to see you're okay..."

"What happened?" Uravity asked.

"I beat Tomura."

Silence. "No way," Kacchan said, "You? Beat Tomura?" Spencer nodded.

"About FRICKING TIME!!!"

"Let's just go now and get help, you both good to come with?"

"You betcha'!" Kacchan yelled, his fists cracking.

"Yes, of course!" Uravity agreed.

The trio of Heroes reached the parking garage, where police had arrived, along with Mirio.

And a horde of reporters, their cameras flashing and their notebooks open, waiting to get the inside interview with the Hero who stopped Tomura and rescued the two captive Heroes.

"Any interviews will have to wait until everyone recovers." Mirio said.

"Did you have any clues as to the whereabouts of the two Heroes beforehand?" asked a reporter, microphone extended.

"Who was the villain behind it all?" asked another one.

"Who did all of this?" was the question the third asked.

"You will get that all next week." Mirio said, and he winked at Spencer.

The week passed far quicker than Spencer had anticipated, and he stood behind a wooden door, in his Hero Costume. "Umm... I, uh-" he started.

"Just be yourself." Mirio staated.

"Do that," Deku said as he rolled up, "And you have nothing to fear. I'm here for you there behind that door."

"B-B-But what if I-"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, the two Heroes behind this op, will enter through that door!"

"Now Spencer!" Deku whispered."Oh, right." He opened the door for Deku to wheel past. Ever since the incident, Deku was in a wheelchair. He didn't mind, but Spencer thought otherwise.

But he couldn't doubt himself now. He walked in right after him, and sat in the open chair.

The reported grinned. "Welcome welcome! Deku, and..."

Spencer looked at him. 'Oh yeah," he began, "I-I'm The Leaded Hero: Lead Weight."

"We understand that this is the second time you fought the perpetrator together. Am I correct?"

"Yes sir," Deku answered, "It indeed is."

"Would you like to tell us how it all went down?"

Spencer gulped, remembering how it was supposed to be secret. But Apparently Mirio had called the police to deal with the security of Tomura, so, so much for secrecy.

"Lead Weight," Deku began, "Would you please tell them what happened? Maybe give them a bit of info what made you decide to become a Hero in the first place?"

"Oh, uh sure." Spencer collected his thoughts. "I guess it all started..." he trailed off.

"Yes?" the reporter said, and the audience leaned forward.

Spencer was about to tell the entire country as to what happened. How should he start. He couldn't just leave out his friend Deku.

But then he remembered something. Deku would always tell him if he ever felt useless.

"I guess..." Spencer started, a smile forming on his face, "People... Are not born equal. That's the hard truth that I learned at the age of four. But that... Was my first and last setback..."

THE END

Quick Note:

Hello! This is actually something I did for a Chemistry Project last week! I felt so proud that I wanted to share it here, but I felt some characters were OOC (Like Deku, and Kacchan, but he's no swear on my watch, or typer, whatever). But otherwise, I loved writing this, and I hope that you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it!

And remember: A GREAT ASSASSIN ALWAYS HAS A POLISHED SECOND BLADE!!!

Stay sharp my adorable muffins!
