Answers Pt. 2

Her brother had once told her that he'd be home by dinner... And yet, countless dinners had been made, and not a single sign of him coming back was present.

She was just ready for the nightmare to end. She had spent many nights contemplating how sweet Death had seem for him, at such a tender age, even if it was unintended. She had even contemplating ending this personal Hell that he had made for her, she was a recluse to everybody that saw her.

Her cheery attitude had disappeared since that day, her heart yearned for his untimely return.

One afternoon, many weeks later, she was all alone for the day, she had found out how to open her father's beloved pocket knife.

With a tear-stained face and a grief-stricken heart, she decided to press the knife against her left wrist, slowly dragging the blade across, scarlet red blood trickled from the slit. She pulled up the blade and repeated this.

Set. Drag. Raise. Set. Drag. Raise. She had continued to do this until she passed out from blood loss, her consciousness fading out to black.

She saw what seemed to be a waiting room, where she was in front of a short man at a desk.

"You are not scheduled here for a long time, little one," the man said, "Go back home."

"There is nothing left for me back home, he left me for this realm." she rebutted.

"Well, he isn't here. Let me tell you something kiddo, well more like a couple," he scratched his head, "When Life throws you the unexpected, doesn't mean to throw it away."

He was so calm, and gentlemanly, that she listened to what he had to say. "Also, he gave you that box of Darkness as a gift. Open it."

The little girl understood, and departed from the desk, for she had all she needed.

Man this took a while! I wrote this in a notebook when I had a bad day, and a friend of mine can attest to this, I almost did something that I would've regretted, but luckily, I had the same fried hide it from me... So enjoy!

Quick Note:

I am proud to announce that I have gotten back into the swing of things. I am also willing to say that each chapter will be longer and that I'll be updating more often. Thanks for keeping up in all the new chapters of my books!

Many thanks,
