Sonic's POV
Sigh.... Another boring day.... Nothing happens here... I'm dying of boredom...
"That's it" I muttered. I looked at the hallways and made sure no one was there. No one was. I sneaked out and fell off the window. "Ow..." I said. I ran away and looked a place to stay. I saw an abandoned house. I ran there and found a bed with some art. "This doesn't look abandoned" I said. I heard a voice so I hid under the bed. "SPARKLE!!!!" A red fox with a black dress yelled. "Y-yes m-m'am" a blue hedgehog with normal clothes said shyly. "I need this house spotless whenbik back!" she commanded the blue hedgehog. She nodded then the red fox left.
Sparkle's POV
I don't like my mother, she's awful to me, and I miss my dad. I guess he left and went somewhere without me.
I went to the abandoned house, where I live and I went to my bed crying. I heard a noise. "W-whos there?" I said scared. Then I looked under my bed and saw a dark blue hedgehog. I yelled until he told me to shh. I nodded, then he went out and I gasped. "You're, you're the prince!" I said. "Yes and I heard that conversation" he said looking at me. "Yeah, that's my mother" I said looking down. "Oh" he said sadly.
Sonic's POV
I feel bad for the girl, I want to make it up to her. But how?......... I know!
"Okay, you know me, but what's your name?" I asked. "I'm Sparkle Diamond" she smiled. "That's a beautiful name" I smiled at her. "Why thank you, that's the nicest thing anyone said to me" she said. "What brings you to my..... place?" she asked. "I'm tired of royalty and I want to live a normal life" I rolled my eyes. "You can stay here and start a new identity!" she cheerfully said. "That sounds great!" I smiled. "Instead of your name Prince Sonic, how about Sonic?" she suggested. I nodded. "You can be....." she thought. "Your boyfriend?" I blushed. She also blushed. "Nobody ever wanted to be my boyfriend before" she said shyly. "Well then, I'm the first!" I said confidently. She smiled and hugged me. "Thank you!" she said. I nodded. "If you're there with me, no one will call me poor, alone, stupid, filthy rat" she looked down. I looked at her then said "I'll make sure they don't bully you anymore!" I said trying cheering her up. "Oh-no, my mother's here! Hide!" she sounded scared. "Rodent!!!! Come here!" a fox yelled. "Y-yes?" she said.
Sparkle's POV
Uh no, I'm in trouble for not cleaning and worst part is, that tommorow she's gonna tell everyone that I'm a rodent!
"I thought I told you to clean the whole house!" she growled. "S-sorry, I s-slept" I said. "Instead of 8 hours of sleep you get...... 2!" she smirked. "No!" I cried. "Go to your 'room'" she smiled evily. I ran to my room and cried. "Is everything alright Sparkle?" Sonic said. "N-no!" I cried on my pillow. "I'm gonna fix it!" he said and get outs.
