After I finish chatting to the pink hedgehog, who name Amy, I quickly got out of the lovely park square. It was a bummer that I need to leave the park early, but I promise my grandmama to come back home for lunch. I was about to be late for lunch, but I got to my grandmother's house in no time.

As I was going to the front porch, I remember that Cream told me about my grandmama,

...Coronary Artery Disease.

I stop my step and remembering about the discussion among me and Cream. I know it's not that deadly, cause there treatment like medicine, but I'm just frightened. I'm frightened of her health, she the only supportive family I have. The worst part is there no cure for this disease.

I just shake my head and forget about that conversation, I don't want to visualize my grandmother dying and me being all isolated in this society. I grab the new housekeys that my grandma give me and unlock the front door.

I went inside and I saw my grandmother cooking, (F/F), I imagine.

My grandmother is humming an old song I haven't heard of and give me a warm smile. "Hey grandmama, I'm back," I announce, as I put my new backpack on the living room couch.

"Come in Sunshine and sit down, I'm almost finished cooking. You must be very thirsty and an empty stomach, grab a drink." I went to the kitchen and hugged my grandmama while she was still cooking the meal. She grinned really big as she sees me really happy to be in her world. I went to open the refrigerator and grab an (F/D) gallon.

"Grandmama? Do you want (F/D)?" I said as I held it up the gallon for my grandmama to see. She nodded so I grab 2 cups and place it on the counter. She is next to the stove next to me and the refrigerator.

"So were you been, since you almost arrived late to lunch?" She asked me.

"Um let see, I went first to the stores to buy school supplies, went to Vanilla's Bakery, and a beautiful park close by," I replied remembering the astonishing view through the park.

"Did you buy something in Vanilla's Bakery?" She asked.

"Yea just a dessert and a drink," I replied.

"I hope you still hungry because imma still give you food right now."

"Grandmama, I met Cream today, while I was in the bakery," I said as I open up the gallon.

"How was Cream?" She asked as she concentrating on her cooking.

"She is doing great, she right now working with her mother," I said to her.

"Oh Cream, I admire her so much because she always works really hard with her mother, she really adorable and really playful all the time." my grandmama stated while she chuckles.

"U-um she told me something that you never tell me before..."

I said I don't know it's a great time to tell her. I serve the (F/D) in the two cups.

"What did she tell you." She stared at me with a serious face, looking away from her cooking. I'm started to get nervous and sweaty here. Damm so hot here! Oh right, I am next to the hot steaming stove.

"She t-told me that you have..." I trailed my words away. I don't know why but, for me it was too hard to say in person, my hands became shaky again and spilling the drinks. I glanced away and grab a napkin and clean the spills in the counter, tensely.

"I have what?" she said more sternly.

"...coronary heart disease..." I replied. There I said IT! I looked up at her face and her expression changed. She looked so worried and upset and me knowing her illness. She still stared at me so serious. I shouldn't have told her yet...

"It's true." She said deeply, at last, she wasn't focusing her cooking anymore, she is focusing on me instead.

"When did you get it, grandmother?" While I put the gallon of (F/D) back to the refrigerator and throw the napkin in the trash.

"five Weeks ago, maybe months." She said and started focusing on her cooking, not looking at me in her eyes.

"Why you didn't tell me?" I told her. I was shocked and offended. She has kept her big secret from me for months! I trusted her so much as she trusts me. Why she keep a secret all of the sudden and keeping it away from me. It not fair.

I looked away as sorrow taking over me "Why grandmama, I trusted you to not keep secrets away from me. Why don't you trust me, I trusted you so much. I share with you my deepest secrets that even my old friends don't even know." I said morosely as I was about to tear up again.

"I didn't tell you because..." Then she sighed sadly. She turns off the oven and reached to hug me, as I wept in her shoulders, embracing me. "I'm sorry (Y/N), please don't think of me as a bad person. The only purpose why I didn't tell you because I don't want you to worried, you suffer too much since you were young. I don't want to make you feel bad that I just have a small dumb illness, it's will take off by the treatments I have." She let go of me and hold my hands. "You have experienced many horrific moments that you have faced in your childhood, I don't want it to bother you right now."

"Thanks, grandmama, I know you doing it for me and taking care of me but it's my turn to take care of you," I said pointing at her.

"Yea yea I know but it's not that serious, really."

"I know it not serious grandmama, but I don't want to lose you too," I responded. I feel much better my grandmother told me all this. She just doing it because of me. I really appreciate it, but I need to take care of her for now on. "But you still need to do morning walks, and eating healthy."

My grandmother sighed, "Yes I will."

"Promise?"

"I promise"

"Cross your heart?"

"Yes, I Cross my heart, I'm just doing it for you my sunshine"

LATER...

As we finish eating, I wash my grandmother's and my dishes.

My grandmother is in the living room sitting down and enjoying her novella on the T.V screen.

I just curious and watched at what is going on, on the TV's screen.

"Oh, Please don't leave me please I-I love you." Said the attractive women, wearing a red dress. It's was raining and they are getting drenched. They were in front of a house. I'm guessing is her house, I suppose.

"I'll never leave you my love, my Corazon! My beautiful, but I need to go! I'm sorry!" Said a handsome man, also getting soaked in the rain. Dam so Dramatic.

His face looked sorry, but the women are sadder than him. "Take me with you!" She said and collapse on her knees, wailing.

I grab two fresh mangos in the kitchen bowl and starting to chop off the peels. I going to give one mango to my grandmother, and another one for me. I chop them into little pieces and put it in the smaller bowl. The yellow bowl is my grandmother bowl and inside, I just put chopped mango. The (F/C) bowl, I put chopped mango with Tajin (or none).

I grab the two bowls, and plastic forks and went into the living room. I notice my grandmother still watching the T.V. "Here you go grandmama," I said and place it in the small table.

"Aww thank you sunshine." She said and grab her plate in the table. She started to eat it and stared at the screen at the same time. She loves watching Novella, its so dramatic, but romantic at the same time.

I sat down next to her and I check the clock on the wall.

7:25 "Time goes so fast." I said to her.

"Yea it's time for you to go to bed." She said.

"Huh? Why?" I asked. I don't want to sleep early. It too early to sleep. In my old town, I sleep like at eleven in the night or perhaps twelve.

"Because you have school tomorrow." She said. She started to eat her chopped mango.

I groaned. "I forgot to see the school today! Now tomorrow will be hard for me to find it in time."

"Don't worry sunshine I could make you a map." She said.

"Sure, thanks." I started eating my mango too.

While I'm eating, my grandma grabs a piece of paper and started to make a map.

Then she started explaining it to me.

"...you just go forward and there you have it, your school."

"Ok, I get it grandmama, thank you for explaining it to me," I said again.

"I will put the map in the table." She said.

I grab my finish plate and also my grandma plate, and put it to the sink. I turn the faucet and started washing it.

"Are you excited for tomorrow? You are going to meet nice teachers, new friends, and probably a new boyfriend-" She said but I interrupt her.

"Grandmama!" I responded blushing.

"What? when I was your age, I fall any type of boy when I was in high school, this is where I find your grandfather." She said gracefully as she remembers when she was young. "He was so handsome and intelligent just like your mom, rest in peace my husband," she whispered.

"How was my grandfather, when he was alive?" I asked as I need to clean the last bowl.

"Your grandfather (name), he really a gentlemen and chivalry to me. He is one of the dreamest fellows I ever met. He builds this house for us and works every day to support our family." She said as she sighed, "I miss him still since he died more than twenty years ago." She said as she got up from the couch and turn of the T.V

"Well, at least he with my parents looking down at us," I said as I put away the dishes in their proper place in the cabinets.

When I finish, I put the bowls away and saying goodnight to my grandma.

"Goodnight grandma! I'm going to bed." I said I started to walk upstairs but my grandmother said something.

"And my goodnight kiss? Mmm?" She said and pointed at her cheeks.

I jump down the stairs and kissed my grandmother in the cheek. And she kisses mine in my forehead.

"Now go to bed, you have to go to school."

I nodded and went upstairs. I went to my room and grab my pajamas and went to the restroom.

I started to change and brush my teeth.

Five minutes later, I went to my room again and lay my bed. I looked at the clock and it 7:40, its way too early to sleep! I waited for a long time and I couldn't sleep at all! I toss and turn and never work. I grab my laptop and I started watching Netflix

Few hours went by, I was knock out, forgetting to put my alarm clock...
