Sonic sat there stunned for a second. He hadn't expected to get lost. "now what?" Sonic wondered. "maybe if I wander around for a bit I'll find my way out. Yeah good plan."

Sonic then starts to crawl around the base.

Metal finally returns to the nursery. He walks over to the playpen and looks insides. What surprises him was that the playpen was empty. "where did he go!?"

Metal checked around the room just encase the little hedgehog decided to hide somewhere around the room, but found nothing. That's when metal realized he left the door open. "oh that's not good. He's roaming the base! I need to find him before something happens to him!" metal then runs out of the nursery in search of the young hedgehog.

Sonic soon found an open door and crawled through thinking 'maybe it's the exit.' what he found was a huge kitchen with over a hundred robots cooking a hundred different dishes. "whoa." said the young hedgehog as he crawled through what could have been total chaos.

As the young hero wandered through the kitchen one of the many robots knocked an open bag of flower off one of the counters, and the bag landed right on top of the kit covering him in flower. Sonic sat there stunned at the fact that he was now covered in flower. What Sonic did next was something an infant would do if this happened to them. He started to cry.

At this all the robots in the kitchen stopped what they were doing and starred at the young hedgehog. After some thought one of the robots came over and picked up the kit by the scruff as another tried to get in contact with metal.

Sonic did not like being picked up by his scruff and started to thrash in the robots grip.

After a few minutes metal entered the kitchen. He had been surprised to learn that his charge had gotten into the main kitchen of the base. Within seconds of entering the kitchen one of the robots who work in the kitchen came over carrying the rioting kit, who was still covered in flower, and handed him to metal before heading back to work. Metal stared at his counterpart for a moment before saying the one thing the young hedgehog never liked hearing. "you need a bath."

Sonic's eyes widened before he started fighting to get out of his counterpart's arms. Metal was surprised for a moment by his doppelgangers sudden outburst before, quickly, running through everything he know about the blue blur. 'he has an adopted brother named Tails, a pink hedgehog named Amy chases him around, he's hydrophobic, he's friends with the "guardian" of the master emerald, he doesn't like to stay in one place for to long... wait a minute,he's hydrophobic... he's afraid of water, and I just said he needs a bath... oh chaos... this is not going to be easy...' with that metal walked back to the nursery with the rioting kit in his arm.

As soon as metal reached the nursery he goes through the small kitchen and into a bathroom before he quickly closes the door and places Sonic onto the tiled floor. After that he walks over to the tub and turning on the water.

As soon as the water reached an inch high he turned off the water and turned around to see the young kit using the door for support as he tries to open the door. Metal quickly picked up the kit and removed his diaper before placing him into the tub as the young Sonic rioted.

By the time metal finished cleaning the kit and dried him off, leaving the infant hero as a fluffy ball of fur, Sonic was crying his eyes out.

Metal quickly tried to calm the kit down to no avail. With what could have been a sigh, although it's hard to tell with metal, metal carried the young kit out of the bathroom and back into the main part of the nursery where he put a new diaper onto the young kit before trying to calm him down again.

Within a few minutes, with the help of the pacifier, metal had calmed down the young hero. Metal heaved what could have been a sigh as a growl came from the little hedgehog's stomach. Quickly metal, still carrying Sonic, walks into the kitchen and opened the fridge before pulling out another bottle of milk and walking back into the main nursery as he takes out the pacifier and puts the bottle into the young hedgehog's mouth.

When Sonic finished the bottle metal once again burped him before the young hero releases a yawn. With that metal placed the kit back into the crib as he falls asleep. Once metal was shore that Sonic was asleep he dimmed the lights and goes back to the rocking chair and waits for the young hedgehog to wake up again.
