A news broadcast was playing the events of last night.

TV news reporter: The super-sonic speed demons, seen here on police helicopter video, have the city baffled.

Policeman: They were both about this tall (holds his hand to his side.). One was blue and looked like a freak, while the other was a human who had rainbow hair.

Random citizen: I was doing about 60, when WOOSH! They blew right past me.

Other random citizen: They moved too fast to be normal.

Scientist: (A monkey was on his back, constantly messing with the scientist's glasses.) As to if this is a UMA (Unidentified Mutant Animal) and a UMK (Unidentified Mutant Kid), that is far from true. Even the Cheetah and legendary athlete Usain Bolt, believed to be the fastest animal and human on earth respectively, are unable to hit a high enough speed to pass a speeding Formula-1 police car, never mind being able to do what had happened to out-speed said Formula 1 police car.

The screen shows an overhead view of Sonic and Y/n performing the Double Boost.

Scientist: The only logical conclusion that we can come up with, is that those two are robots.

The screen zooms out too see Chris, Sonic, and Y/n chilling on Chris' couch watching TV, as Sonic and Y/n were both eating chili dogs. Y/n, for some reason, had h/c hair instead of rainbow hair.

Y/n: (after swallowing) These are some good Chili dogs, Chris.

Sonic: (after swallowing) I have to agree with that.

Chris: Thanks. My butler, Mr. Tanaka was the one who made them.

Y/n: I have to ask you though. (points to his hair) Is this really necessary?

Chris: Well, I don't want you to get caught so quickly, so thanks to this (He pulls out a can of h/c hair spray paint.), you can blend in easier. 

Y/n: Ok, but why didn't you do anything for Sonic?

Sonic: Well, I'm one of a kind buddy.

The door opens up to reveal a tall man.

This is Chuck Thorndyke, Chris' grandfather and the family's scientist. Chuck is an elderly of short stature. He has tan skin, wisteria eyes, thick eyebrows, wrinkles beneath his eyes, and gray hair that is combed backwards. For attire, he wears a blue shirt with lighter trim and a collar under a green and dark green-striped sweater, a white lab coat, brown pants, and purple shoes with a bright stripe down their middle and gray soles. He runs up to Chris.

Chuck: Guess what, Chris? A big, blue hedgehog and a boy as tall as the hedgehog came out of nowhere and outran the S-Team last night!

Chuck then looks down to see Sonic and Y/n. He looks back and forth from the TV to Sonic and Y/n. Since Y/n had H/c colored hair now, Chuck didn't immediately recognize him, however he smiled at Sonic. Chris and Y/n did some quick thinking and covered Sonic with a pillow.

Sonic: (muffled) Hey! Get it off! I can't breathe!

He pushes the pillow off of him and Chuck immediately grabbed him.

Chuck: It's him!

Chris: Easy Grandpa!

Y/n: Wait a second!

Chuck pulls out a screwdriver.

Chuck: I have to see how one of these are made.

Y/n: Hold on a second.

Chuck loocs at Y/n.

Y/n: That's Sonic. He's not a machine.

Chuck: And how can you be sure of that?

Y/n: Hold on.

Y/n walks over to a sink and rinses his hair off, revealing it's true color. He walks back to everyone.

Y/n: I would know because I was with him last night. I'm not a machine either. Look.

Y/n starts pulling on the skin of his arm, showing that he isn't a robot. Chuck was surprised by this, but he smiled softly, put Sonic down, and put the screwdriver in his pocket.

Chuck: (looks at Sonic) Sorry about that, Sonic. It's just that if you were a machine, it would benefit my research.

Sonic: (smiles) It's alright. No harm done.

Chris: I'm glad that you were able to reason with grandpa, Y/n.

Y/n: (to Chris) It's no big deal. (turns to Chuck) You said that we would benefit your research if were machines. Are you some sort of scientist?

Chuck: That I am.

Y/n: Well, if he ended up here, I know someone who could help you.

Chuck: (intrigued) Really?

Y/n nods, however before he could say their name, the TV got their attention.

TV news reporter: We now go live to this late-breaking story.

?: (whimpering) Please.

??: (scared tone) Leave us alone.

This got Sonic and Y/n's attention as they look at the TV to see firefighters and police officers trying to get to 3 figures on a billboard. The TV zooms in to reveal that those figures were Cream the Rabbit, Cream's chao friend Cheese, and Trip the Sungazer. Trip was holding her arms out in front of Cream and Cheese as a means to protect them.

Trip: I don't know who you all are or what you want, but go away!

Sonic and Y/n were shocked by seeing Cream and Cheese here, however they were confused on who Trip was.

Sonic: That's Cream and Cheese!

Chris: That's who?

Y/n: So we weren't the only ones who got sent here, after all.

Trip: HELP!!!

Trip, Cream, and Cheese were grabbed by the humans and pulled away, when the TV shut off.

Sonic and Y/n: We'll save them.

Sonic and Y/n speed off in a random direction, before Y/n signals to Sonic that they don't even know where to go. They speed right back to the house, stopping in the living room.

Y/n: (sheepish grin) Yeah, we don't know where to go.

Sonic also sheepishly grinned.
