Narrator: Last time on Sonic X, Eggman contacted Sonic, Y/n, and the gang with the news that the Metarex were on the move towards Galactic Coordinate 000, where something majorly mysterious was about to happen. The team launched a counterattack, but the mighty Metarex proved themselves indestructible. In the meantime, Shadow and the Chaotix crew crashed the mothership in the hopes of destroying Dark Oak and his creepy cohorts, while Chris and Helen went on a mission to free Eggman. But little did our friends know that an extraordinary occurence was about to take place- A catastrophic collision of space and time not seen for a thousand years! It was time for the final tranformation, a strange and momentous event that would alter the galaxy forever. Will Sonic save the day, or get lost in a watery wasteland never to return? Stay tuned!

Rouge caught Amy while she was still flying from Sonic's throw.

Amy: No! I have to go after him!

Rouge: No way.

Amy: But he could be hurt!

Rouge: Acting crazy isn't gonna help anyone. Try to stay calm, Amy.

Rouge landed on Cream's ship next to Star. This is when Amy began to tear up.

Amy: But you don't understand! Sonic needs me!

Cream: Oh Amy...

Tears began to form in Cream's eyes, too.

Cream: What if Sonic really is hurt this time? We have to get him out of there somehow!

Y/n: Do not worry, Cream. We will.

Amy: Oh, Sonic...

In the Blue Typhoon.

Chris, Helen and Knuckles enter the bridge where Cosmo and Tails were.

Tails: This doesn't look good, guys.

Chris: Yeah. I just don't know what to do, Tails.

Cosmo: Don't worry. He's going to be okay.

They looked at her in surprise.

Cosmo: This amulet is a very special one. It belonged to my mother long ago. Sometimes it shows me thing others cannot see. He'll be all right.

They all smiled.

Tails: Really?

Knuckles: Well, sure. That guy can survive anything!

Helen: Never doubted it for a second.

Chris: And if Sonic can survive, then we can too. Isn't that right, Cosmo?

Cosmo didn't say anything as the ship began to shake before hearing Eggman's voice.

Eggman: Eggman here. Do you read me? You won't believe what's just happened!

It turned out Eggman's ship crashed into the Typhoon.

Eggman: It appears my Egg Crimson has rather conveniently collided with your Typhoon!

Narcissus and Bayleaf's dragon heads suddenly lunge at the Typhoon, but it got out of the way.

Dr. Eggman: Uh-oh!

The movement could be felt by everyone on the ship.

Rouge: That was close.

???: You kids okay?

Rouge, Amy, and Cream Y/n, Star and Chaos turned to see the Chaotix approaching.

Y/n: Oh, it's you guys.

Espio: Looks like Eggman's up to something.

Vector: A cowardly trick. Ol' Egghead landed his ship on yours so he wouldn't have to fight alone!

Amy: We don't want that Egghead on our ship!

Y/n: Wait, we might need his help.

Eggman spoke over the intercom.

Eggman: (over intercom) You boss is right! I mean, what else would you suggest? That creepy colossus is greening up the whole galaxy! I should think you'd be happy to team up against these botanical beasties. If this forestation farce continues, my genius will no longer flourish.

Decoe: What a terrible loss for evil science!

Bocoe: How could they be so selfish?

Bokkun: Come on, everybody! Let's-

The Egg Crimson began shooting missiles at the Metarex, but it wasn't doing anything. That's when Cosmo and Star heard the voice of their mother.

Earthia: Cosmo, do not fear. I am always with you. Through this amulet, I am watching and guiding you to your destiny.

The sisters begin to see visions of the male Seedrians in their gaint beast forms battling their enemies.

Earthia: Our planet may have been destroyed long ago, but through you, my daughters, the spirit of our people will live on. Look for the light at the end of the darkness. It is there in your hearts.

Everyone met up in the bridge, except for Eggman who was there in video.

Knuckles: What are we all standing around for? Shouldn't we be out there fighting?

Rouge: That thing's a hundred feet tall. What do you suggest, champ?

Amy: Well, we have to do something!

Chris: There's got to be some way we can break them, something we haven't thought of.

Charmy: We got your secret weapon right here! Sure, I may be small, but I'm-

Espio covered Charmy's mouth.

Espio: Put a cork in it, Charmy.

Eggman: Finding a weak spot in that gargantual green meanie out there isn't going to be easy. With the combined power of the Chaos Emeralds, not to mention the Planet Eggs, that three-headed dino boy's a mighty powerful monster.

Knuckles: What about the Master Emerald?

Amy: Hey, why didn't we think of that before?

Knuckles: If we charge up the Master Emerald enough, we might be able to cause some kind of Chaos reaction.

Y/n: We also have Chaos himself who can still go perfect.

Chris: Well, it's worth a try.

Tails: This just might be the idea we're looking for. I gotta hand it to you, Knuckles. Let's get to work on this right away!

Cream: Thank you, Knuckles!

Cheese: Chao!

Knuckles smiles at the praise.

Knuckles: Aw, it was no big deal.

Eggman: Not so fast, my little spaceketeers. What if Knuckles' brilliant idea lays an egg?

Knuckles: What do you mean?

Chris: We are going up against a whole lot of concentrated energy.

Tails: Scientifically speaking, even if we charge the Master Emerald capacity, it still might not work.

Knuckles: So what then?

Rouge: Guess you'll find out soon enough, tiger.

Rouge slapped him on the back.

Cream: I say Knuckles' idea has to work. This is our only hope for getting Sonic back.

Vector: And don't forget, you got the teamin' Chaotix Detective Agency on your side.

Charmy: Yeah, in case the whole thing goes bust!

Knuckles: Hey, wait a minute! What if it does go bust? What if the Master Emerald needs more energy that we've got?!

Eggman: I have an idea. You can use the Egg Crimson for backup just in case you need a little more... shall we say... juice.

Knuckles: Eheheh... Good idea, Eggy.

Espio: You know, this is almost heartwarming, everybody working together like this.

Y/n: I must admit, it is interesting to see old foes come together to face a common threat.

Knuckles: Don't get carried away.

Cosmo and Helen let out a laugh and that's when they heard Dark Oak.

Dark Oak: Your time is up, my friends!

The Metarex rushed at ship, but Shadow tried to stop them with a Spindash, but Dark Oak's head just swatted him away. Dark Oak tried to attack the ship, but Shadow stopped, causing vibrations around both ships.

Chris: What do we do?

Bayleaf and Narcissus' heads were about to attack, but were stopped by Perfect Chaos and Y/n's Grand Dragoon.

Helen: Y/n?! Chaos?!

Chaos: Go on and charge the Master Emerald! We'll buy you some time!

Star: We have to help them.

Helen: I'm coming with you.

Cream: Team Thunder, go!

Amy: Got room for a few more?

They flew out. Amy and Rouge were in Eggman ships while Cream was in her own ship with Star on the wing. Narcissus fired several spikes at them, but they dodged.

Amy: Give it your best shot, fang-face!

Meanwhile, Helen and the Chaotix jumped and grabbed on to Bayleaf's neck.

Vector: Hang on tight, Espio! He's a slippery one!

Charmy: Yeah. Cranky, too.

Helen: We're going for a wild ride!

Shadow launched a Chaos Spear that Dark Oak dodged before swatting Shadow away with his head. Dark Oak was about to go for another attack, but Star,in her Bloom Form, kicked him in the head.

Star: Your madness ends here, Father!

Dark Oak: Why do you defy me, Star? You know the only way to peace is a universe where we plant creatures can live!

Star: That's not true at all. Planet Green Gate believed in peace and harmony, peace and harmony you destroyed! I won't have anymore of it!

Dark Oak: You don't know what you're saying.

Star got in a fighting stance.

Star: I know exactly what I'm saying, Dark Oak.

Dark Oak took a pause.

Dark Oak: So be it.

They rushed each other.

Meanwhile.

Chris was in the cockpit of the Egg Crimson with Eggman and his robots.

Chris: Okay, you guys. The power cannon is all set up and ready to go. We hooked it up to the Egg Crimson for backup.

Eggman: Glad we could be of assistance, kid. But, uh, there may be one slight problem.

This confused Chris.

Eggman: How is it that you and your little girlfriend found yourselves in this dimension, Chris?

Chris: Well, I... I used the Master Emerald's energy as a connector to synchronize our world with this one, and then we teleported.

Eggman: Sure you did. You used the Master Emerald as a connector all right, but when you two teleported, you both lost six years because of an interdimensional warp strain. Hence that inconvenient, not to mention embarrassing, shift from strapping young man and beautiful young lady, back to annoying squirts. Those lost years were stored as particle data inside the Master Emerald's energy centers for safekeeping.

Decoe: Isn't is astonishing how the doctor knows absolutely everything?

Bocoe: He is a genius with a capital G.

Bokkun: So you're really eighteen, huh? Too bad you're a total shrimpy wimp dating a dorky little girl!

Chris: I'd watch how you speak about her if I were you. Don't forget, me and her have Y/n on speed dial.

Bokkun instantly shut up.

Eggman: I'm not done! The bad news is that if we use up a large portion of the Master Emerald's energy, you and her just might be stuck here, junior. Your particle data may disipate within moments of charging. In turn, I'm afraid it may take years to renew its current structure. Which means that you two may never be able to return to your world, and even if you do, your molecular structures could be possibly, permanently damaged.

Chris: Oh no...

Chris thought about all the people he would be leaving behind and what he could be making Helen loss, but he pushed forward and continued to work.

Chris: Sonic Power Cannon, backup to Egg Crimson, and... Connect. If it means saving our friends from danger, I'm willing to take the chance! And I'm sure is, too!

Eggman: You're really going through with this, aren't you?

Chris: I'll just have to believe I'll see my folks again one day, and when I do, I want them to be proud of me and Helen!

Eggman gave a grin.

Decoe: I have to admit, you are not so bad after all, kid.

Bocoe: Yeah, and here we thought you were just this sniveling little brat. But you are not sniveling at all!

Bokkun: Sure he ain't! You know, deep down, I always know you were an okay kid, but these two bozos wouldn't believe me.

Decoe: Who are you calling bozos?

Chris began to tear up a bit.

Chris: Hey, thanks a lot, you guys. I don't know what to say.

They all looked at Chris, amazed at his bravery.

Chris: I'm not gonna let the Metarex win this!

Eggman: You're pretty tough, kid.

In the Blue Typhoon.

Cosmo: All right, Tails, it looks like the backup with Egg Crimson has been completed.

Tails: I reprogrammed the Power Cannon so it'll receive a sustained charge from all sources. We're ready.

Knuckles was in the engine room, charging the Master Emerald.

Knuckles: The seven Chaos Emeralds are the servers. Chaos is the power enriched by the heart. Chaos is the power enriched by the heart!

Back to the fighting.

It wasn't looking too good for the heros

Cream: Back off!

Rouge's console began to spark.

Rouge: Terrific.

She got out of the ship.

Rouge: Thanks for the hunk of junk.

She kicked the damage ship at Narcissus. Meanwhile, the Chaotix are climbing up Bayleaf. Espio throws several shurikens at Bayleaf that exploded on impact, but Bayleaf was unharmed and lunged at Espio, who went invisible to dodge the attack. Vector breathed fire at Bayleaf, which seems to have some effect. Helen then follows it up with a triple kick before Chaos hit Bayleaf with a big water blast.

Tails: It's time!

Knuckles was still chanting to the Master Emerald.

Knuckles: The controller serves to unify the Chaos! Come on, Master Emerald! Come through! You're our last chance! If this does not work, the Metarex will win, and I will not let that happen!

The Master Emerald began to emit more power, but it began to crack.

Knuckles: Come on, Master Emerald, you can do this. I know you can. You're strong enough. Don't let us down!

More cracks began to form.

Knuckles: Master Emerald, give us all your power!!

Chris was viewing its the power level.

Chris: It's almost at full power. We'll wait a couple more seconds and then we'll reroute the energy.

Outside.

Vine like tendrils came out of Dark Oak's neck and wrapped around Shadow and Star and they tried to break out, but the vines were too strong. Then Y/n showed up and cut the vines with his Grand Dragoon's claws before headbutting Dark Oak.

Y/n: Thought you could use some help.

Back in the Engine room.

Knuckles was still charging the Master Emerald.

Tails: [Over intercom] Pump the Master Emerald's energy to the main cannon! Hurry!

In the bridge.

Tails: Okay, Chris. Deactivating trigger safety. Set target for 12:00.

Y/n continued to bash heads with Dark Oak and even shot some black lightning at him, but then Y/n felt a great pain in his chest and his Dragoon collapsed, making him fall and land next to Star.

Star: Y/n!

She helped Y/n on to one knee as he grabbed his chest.

Shadow: What happened?!

Y/n: I-I exerted myself too much.

Star: Yeah. Thanks to you, his heart is severely damaged.

Shadow: How's it my fault? He's the one who used the technique.

Y/n: (panting) Arguing... isn't gonna... change anything.

Shadow: Well, now what do we do?

Dark Oak tried to strike with a giant vine filled with Chaos Emerald Energy, but Y/n blocked it with his bracelet blades, which resulted in them shattering. Dark Oak was about to attack again, but he was shot in the eye by Chaos in his regular form who ran up to them.

Chaos: My time ran out, I came as soon as Lord Y/n's Dragoon disappeared.

Y/n: I'm at my new limit.

Chaos began to think.

Chaos: I have an idea. If I completely merge my power with yours, not only will it increase our fighting prowess, but I might be able to stabilize your heart.

Star: Could it work?

Chaos: No doubt it would, but I'll warn you of the risk well in advance.

Y/n: What do you mean?

Chaos: Us merging would burn our Chaos Energy greatly. If we were to merge and you stay that way for too long, you will die, my Lord. And nothing will be able to stop it.

Star: What?! Then let's not do it! Let's just wait-

Y/n: No, Star. I'll do it.

Star: Y/n, I almost lost you once.

Y/n: And I won't risk losing anyone else here.

Shadow: Are you really sure?

Y/n: (sigh) Tell me, Shadow. How much of Space Colony Ark do you remember?

Shadow: I've actually got most of them back.

Y/n: Is Maria among these memories?

Shadow thought for a moment and looked down.

Shadow: She is.

Y/n: Well, I have a Maria of my own, except her name is Helen. I would go to hell and back for Helen, as I'm sure you would for Maria. If giving up my life will lead to the safety of her, my friends, my family and my wife, then let it be that way.

Star: (tears in her eyes) Oh, Y/n.

Chaos: Truly noble.

Y/n: Do not think much of it. I am simply doing what my father and uncle would've done. Star, if I die, take care of Cream and my mother for me.

Star: I will.

Y/n: And Shadow, I know we've had our ups and downs, but please, take care of Helen for me.

Shadow thought for a moment.

Shadow: I suppose I could, but that's if you die. So don't die, Faker.

Y/n: Chaos, begin merge.

Chaos completely covered Y/n's body and they slowly began to merge. Y/n's arms were completely incised by Chaos, he had a helmet that looked like it had Chaos' brain in it, a cape that looked to be made of water and had six hands at the bottom, and he now had completely green eyes.

Star: Woah. What exactly are you calling this?

Y/n: I shall call it, "Chaos Mode."

With Eggman.

Eggman: Start tilt function!

With some struggle, the Power Cannon came out of the Typhoon. Narcissus and Bayleaf's heads lunged at them, but Y/n punched them both.

Y/n: Fire now while you have an opening!

Y/n used the hands on his cape to grab the Metarex and hold them in place.

Knuckles: Get ready, Master Emerald! Full power!

More cracks formed in the Master Emerald.

Chris/Knuckles/Tails: Sonic Power Cannon, full force!

The cannon was fired and Y/n was able to get out of the way before it hit the Metarex, causing a big explosion. At the end of it, Dark Oak's head roared before he stopped moving.

Chris: Hey, look.

Dr. Eggman: I have to hand it to you kids. It looks like your Master Emerald master plan worked like a charm.

Tails: Oh wow!

At the end of it, the Master Emerald was shattered and Knuckles was picking up the pieces.

Outside in space.

Y/n landed on Amy's ship.

Amy: Oh, hey, Y/n. Sweet new look.

Y/n: Thanks, I guess. Fly me closer to that Planet. I saw Sonic.

Amy flew closer and she indeed saw Sonic unconscious in water.

Amy: Sonic!

Amy tried to fly closer, but the vines grabbed her before Y/n took Amy out of the ship and attached one of his Chaos hands to her back.

Amy: What are you doing?

Y/n: You're going all the way.

Y/n threw her towards Sonic who caught her. Amy looked up at Sonic and smiled.

Amy: Sonic...

Sonic returned the smiled before they were pulled out by Y/n's Chaos hand and Chris came by in the X-Tornado to pick them up.

Sonic: Oh, hey, Y/n. Sweet new look.

Amy: That's what I said.

Y/n: Although it was peaceful not having you around for a bit, I'm glad to have you back.

The two gave each other a fist bump before Amy gave Sonic a kiss on the cheek.

Sonic: (surprised) Amy?

Amy: Sorry, couldn't resist.

Tails: (Over intercom) Hey everybody, check it out! Something really weird is happening now. Look!

They looked over to see the waters rising around the stump of the Metarex three heads.

Dark Oak: You tried to destroy us, but we are more powerful than you will ever know! The Chaos eternal seed! We shall become as one with Chaos forevermore!

The water rises above the three dragons and Dark Oak's dissolves.

Chris: He's gone.

Dark Oak: And now the birth of a new galaxy- A galaxy of tranquility, of emptiness! I call you!

Tails: He's merged with the energy of the Master Emerald. Somehow he's more powerful than ever now.

Cosmo's amulet starts to glow.

Cosmo: I'm here.

The planet shrunk into a seed like object that beated like a heart. The others could do nothing but look at it, knowing it something much worse is to come.
