The Typhoon was just floating in space with Tails and Chris checking the systems to make sure everything's running smoothly.

Chris: Hey, Tails, don't you think it's time we took a break?

Tails: Well, there seems to be a problem with the security system, and I want to find out why. But you can go.

Chris: Don't you want help?

Tails: Nah, I can handle it myself. Hopefully we'll all have plenty of time to rest up, especially after everything that's happened recently. Since there aren't any Metarex around, things should stay pretty quiet.

Chris: I sure hope you're right, Tails.

Tails: Me, too.

Chris yawns and walks in to his room he shares with Helen where he sees the latter reading.

Helen: Hey, hun. Boy, you look tired.

Chris: Yeah, just a few inspections.

As soon as he walked in, a shadow ran past where he was standing before.

Meanwhile.

Y/n was laying in his bed while Star and Chaos were using their healing techniques on wrapped eyes.

Star: Remember, your power will be limited until your eyes fully recover.

Chaos: Hopefully, our healing powers together can speed up the process.

Y/n: Hm.

Star: What's up, dear?

Y/n: It's just... something doesn't feel right.

With Tails.

Tails was fixing a few things up.

Tails: Okay. That should work. Now I'll restart the system.

As soon as he restarted it, the alarm blared loudly and Tails spoke through the intercom.

Tails: (through intercom) Red alert! Red alert! We have an intruder on board the ship!

Y/n: You know, sometimes I actually hate it when I'm right.

Cosmo woke up to see Shadow standing over her.

Shadow: You traitor!

Cosmo could only sit in shock until Chris and Helen ran in.

Chris: Cosmo!

Chris and Helen were just as shocked to see Shadow who threw a Chaos Spear at them, but Sonic showed up and pushed them out of the way, but they still got hurt, Helen less so. Shadow advanced closer to Cosmo, but was stopped by Sonic.

Sonic: Hold it, Shadow! You mind telling me what this is all about?

Shadow didn't answer and charged at Sonic and the two of them engaged in a test of strength.

???: Sonic!

Tails ran from around the corner.

Sonic: Hurry! Grab Cosmo and run!

Sonic and Shadow broke their lock and Sonic tried to rush him, but Shadow bounced off the walls and hit Sonic from behind.

Tails: Cosmo, what happened?

Cosmo: I woke up. Shadow was there. He said something strange to me.

Shadow began to walk towards them, but Tails activated the lock down system and ran with Cosmo. A door shut in front of Shadow, but he broke through it like it was nothing. Shadow was about to go after them until he  was kicked him in the head by Helen. The kick stunned him for a bit, but Shadow quickly shook it off. He turned to Helen, ready to attack and she was preparing for it, but Shadow froze as he saw Helen as Maria and just walked away.

Helen: That was strange. (gasp) Chris, Sonic!

Meanwhile.

Knuckles was running through the halls as he was trying to contact Sonic.

Knuckles: Sonic! Can you hear me?! What's going on?

Cream: (From comlink: Sonic, Chris and Helen got hurt in a fight with Shadow! They'll be okay, but it'll take some time for them to recover. Thankfully, Helen only got a few scrapes.)

Knuckles: Why were they fighting?

Cream: It's really confusing. For some reason, Shadow was trying to attack Cosmo.

Knuckles: So he is our enemy!

Amy chimed in.

Amy: Don't even think about going after Shadow right now! Find Tails and Cosmo and make sure they're safe. That's an order!

Knuckles: I know what I'm doing! Nobody will be safe on this ship until we stop Shadow. Where's Y/n, Star and Chaos?

Amy: We've been trying to get a hold of them.

Back with Shadow.

Shadow found himself with three paths so he took out some kind of device.

Device: Accessing ships internal sensors. Two heat signal detected. Standby for visual.

It showed him Tails and Cosmo.

With Tails and Cosmo.

Tails was hacking into a computer.

Cosmo: What are you doing, Tails?

Tails: If Shadow has access to our computer, you could use the internal sensors to track us. I have to block him from accessing the data. That should do it.

With on final button, Shadow eyes on them were cut off.

Tails: I think it worked.

Device: Bypass code: six-delta-three.

The cameras began to look at them.

Tails: No way! He got through!

Tails grabbed Cosmo's hand and began to run again.

Tails: Hurry, Cosmo!

They eventually made their way to the cockpit and tried to get in the X-Tornado.

Tails: You'll be safe once we get away on the X-Tornado.

Tails began to prepare for takeoff.

Tails: Prepare for takeoff. Hold on, Cosmo!

The X-Tornado was getting ready to fly.

Tails: Everything'll be okay.

Suddenly, Shadow bursted through the roof and got in their way.

Shadow: Hand that girl over, now. I don't wanna fight you, Tails, but I will if I have to.

Tails: Cosmo never did anything to harm you! Why are you after her anyway?

Shadow: I'm not going to tell you. Now move aside, or you'll be sorry.

Tails: Forget it, Shadow! I won't let you hurt Cosmo!

Shadow: I'm warning you! This is your last chance, Tails. Give up now, or face the consequences.

Shadow began to walk forward.

Tails: Back off, Shadow, or I'll have to stop you myself.

Shadow: Don't be a fool. I'm too powerful.

There was a knock at the door which got everyone's attention. Then suddenly, a long spear of lightning came through the door and it almost stabbed Shadow, but he blocked it with his wrist. The door was then cut down and behind it was Y/n with bandages still covering his eyes.

Y/n: Shadow.

Shadow: Y/n. Hm, you look awful.

Y/n moves forward to dig the Long Spear deeper through Shadow's wrist. While this was happening, Chaos and Star grabbed Tails and Cosmo.

Star: Come on, let's go!

Chaos: My Lord, we got them!

Y/n released the spear and ran after them into an elevator shafted. Tails held on to Cosmo while flying up while Y/n and Star were being lifted up by Chaos.

Star: What's up with Shadow?

Tails: I don't know, but he's trying to hurt Cosmo!

Chaos: And that's a bad thing?

Y/n/Star: Chaos!

Chaos: Sorry.

Cosmo turned to see Shadow was quickly catching up to them.

Cosmo: Here he comes!

Tails: It's okay. Just trust me.

Stun lasers were shooting at Shadow, please destroy them with his Chaos Spears.

Y/n: If only I could use Grand Dragoon, I'd be able to fly us up there in no time.

Tails: We're almost there!

They made it out of there and shut the door on Shadow.

Tails: Come on, Cosmo!

Y/n: Knowing Shadow, that won't keep him down for long.

They began to run again when Shadow broke through the door with Spindash and he was about to hit them, but Knuckles stopped him.

Cosmo: (gasp) It's Knuckles!

Knuckles: (straining) Get out of here, quick!

Shadow was beginning to push Knuckles back.

Knuckles: (scream) I've had enough of you, Shadow!

Knuckles used all his strength to throw Shadow into a wall.

Knuckles: Go! Now!

Y/n I'm not leaving you alone. Chaos, stay here and help him.

Chaos: Right away, My Lord!

Chaos jumped next to Knuckles and the others made a run for it.

Shadow: (getting up) Trying to challenge me is a big mistake. And you're both going to regret it.

Knuckles: I've always wanted to Shadow-box.

Chaos: Let's not forget how I was easily able to block your attacks.

Shadow: Things are different now.

Shadow Spindash and bounced all over the walls, using the momentum to knock Knuckles down and turn Chaos into a a puddle.

Back with Y/n.

The four of them kept running until...

Tails: It's a dead end! We have to find another way out!

Shadow blew up the door behind them.

Tails: Come on!

They ran into another elevator and Tails was messing with the panel.

Cosmo: Please hurry! Shadow will catch up to us soon!

???: Sooner than you think.

Shadow was walking towards them.

Star: He got passed Chaos?!

Cosmo: I guess this is it.

Tails growled and stood in front of Cosmo along with Star.

Cosmo: Wait a second, Shadow. If you insist on getting rid of me, you should at least tell me the reason why.

Shadow: I do have a reason. But I won't tell you what it is.

Y/n: Come on, if you're gonna kill someone, the least you can do is tell them why.

Shadow stepped onto a mark on the ground.

Shadow: There's no point in putting up a fight, because you can't beat me, and the only one that might stand a chance is blind.

Cosmo: (scared) You don't have to do this!

Shadow: You won't talk me out of getting rid of you, so don't try.

Shadow began to walk forward, but Tails shouted at him.

Tails: Stay back! I won't let you near her!

Tails flipped a switch and doors began to shut around Shadow who gave off a smirk.

Shadow: Do you seriously believe a door can stop me?

Tails: Maybe you're not as strong as you think!

Y/n: You're definitely not as smart.

Shadow: This will be too easy.

Shadow raised his hand, getting ready to destroy the door, but he was suddenly shocked by some energy and he was being loaded into the Sonic Power Cannon.

Shadow: I'll spin free!

As Shadow entered Spindash, the cannon was brought out to the open.

Tails: Shadow fell right into my trap! Activate Sonic Power Cannon now!

Shadow was launched deep into space and Tails was left panting.

Tails: We lucked out, guys. Shadow started spinning at just the right time. You should be safe now, Cosmo.

Star: Glad you're safe, sis.

Y/n: Let's get to the bridge and make sure he's far.

All four of them made their way to the bridge and looked out the window.

Cosmo: I'm sorry I'm causing you so much trouble.

Star: Oh, my dear little sister. You're never any trouble.

Tails: You don't have to apologize, Cosmo. You mean a lot to me, and the only thing I care about is making sure that you're safe.

Everyone smiled except for Y/n.

Star: Dear, what's wrong?

Y/n: It's just... something feels off. It's never this easy.

Suddenly, there was this bright light that surprised everyone and out of the light came Shadow with the white Chaos Emerald that withered to dust.

Shadow: This Emerald is a fake!

Tails: Let's settle this now!

Tails rushed at Shadow, but he was immediately backhanded.

Cosmo: He's hurt.

Y/n tried to slash him with his blades, but Shadow dodged them and took advantage of Y/n's blindness to hit him behind the head and Y/n fell over.

Star: Y/n! Grr.

Star threw some seeds down and the bursted into vines that restrained Shadow long enough for Star in her Super Seedrian form to get a punch and send him on to the floor. Shadow got up and threw Chaos Spears into Star's shoulders before Spindashing her into a window and caused the glass to crack.

Cosmo: Sister!

Shadow got closer to Cosmo, but Tails jumped on him and tried, but failed to pull away Shadow who punched him away again.

Cosmo: What have I done?

Shadow raised his hand as Cosmo could do nothing but look at him in horror, but before Shadow could do anything, he was pinned to the ground by a light blue, skeletal claw. This claw came from Y/n who stood up while taking off the bandages around his eyes.

Y/n: Listen, Shadow. I don't know what your reason for doing this is, but weather it be good or bad, I will not allow you to harm my sister-in-law.

Y/n finally got the bandages off and opened his eyes to show eyes with bright yellow irises and plus marks for pupils. These were the True Dragoon Eyes.

Y/n: Or any member of my crew for that matter.

Shadow broke free from the claw.

Shadow: I see someone got some new powers.

Y/n: And I can't think of anyone better to test them out on then you.

Y/n grabbed the light blue Chaos Emerald out of containment and rushed at Shadow to grab him.

Y/n: Chaos Control!

Y/n teleported them both outside on the ships roof and the Chaos Emerald disintegrated after Y/n used it.

Y/n: Damn. This one was a fake, too.

Shadow: What's the meaning of this? We could've fought in there.

Y/n: Well out here, you can't hurt anyone.

Shadow: You're wrong.

Shadow rushed Y/n who blocked Shadow's punch with the Grand Dragoon rib cage.

Shadow: I can hurt you!

Shadow punched the rib cage again and it cracked this time, so Y/n developed its upper body with muscles and skin to strike and Shadow and pushed him back. Shadow Spindashed right through the Dragoon and hit Y/n head on, Y/n responded by kicking Shadow upwards and kicking him down. Shadow and Y/n stand a few feet away from each other and give each other a hard stare down.

Shadow: Surprised you can still stand, yet alone, pull off a kick like that after you took my Spindash head on.

Y/n: That's the thing about Thunderhogs, we never back down no matter how hard the task. That said, you're pretty strong yourself. I can see how you're the Ultimate Life Form, but even the ultimate fall at some point.

Y/n got down on all fours and made his quills spike up.

Y/n: Shocking Needles!

Y/n shot a hundred of his spines that were laced with lightning at Shadow.

Shadow: Chaos Spear!

Shadow sent Chaos Spears to counter the needles, but some do manage to hit him and give Shadow a little shock which gave Y/n an opportunity to run up to Shadow and tried to cut Shadow with his blades that have been extended with black lightning. Shadow tried to move out of the way, but his arm got cut by the black lightning which caused his skin to crack and Shadow screamed in pain.

Y/n: My black lightning won't kill you, but you better believe it'll hurt like hell. And thanks to my new eyes, it won't destroy my vision anymore.

Shadow Spindashed Y/n dozens of times and while this was happening, Tails, Cosmo and Star were watching from the side lines.

Star: I really can't tell who's winning.

Tails: Me either. It's like one second, you think Y/n's gonna win, then you think Shadow's gonna win the next.

Cosmo: Hey, where'd they go?

Tails/Star: Huh?

Y/n and Shadow landed on a nearby asteroid field.

Y/n: All right, what do you say we take it up a notch?

Shadow: I'm already way ahead of you.

Y/n entered Thunder Mode and shot a Thunder Dragon at Shadow who split it in half with a golden sword.

Shadow: Chaos Sword!

Y/n tried to hit Shadow with Thunder Jab, but he blocked it with the Chaos Sword and it broke. Y/n then grazed Shadow's shoulder with a black lightning dagger that broke his skin more, Shadow kicked Y/n back to gain some distance.

Y/n: All right, time to end this.

Lightning struck Y/n as he dropped his limiters and he entered Thunder God Mode while Shadow took off his limiters and began to build up Chaos Energy. Y/n also began to charge up a Thunder Might. After a few minutes, both of their attacks were ready.

Y/n: Thunder Might!

Shadow: Chaos Blast!

Y/n's thunder beast collides with Shadow's explosion of Chaos Energy, the collision of the two attacks create a large explosion and shockwave that destroys all the asteroids and sends Y/n and Shadow flying back to the Typhoon, heavily injured and Y/n went back to base form, but they could still get up.

Y/n/Shadow: (Thinking: Damn, that last attack used almost all my Chaos Energy, I'm sure his reserves are running low, too.)

Shadow: It seems we have come to an impasse.

Y/n: I would agree with you, if I didn't have one last trick up my sleeve.

Shadow: What do you mean.

Y/n put his hands together and began to charge up a lot of electricity, he keeps it up until twelve dragon heads around the size of his arms appear behind him.

Y/n: (Thinking: This will my last attack. I'm sorry, everyone, but if we wanna keep everyone on the ship safe, you'll have to stop the Metarex without me.) Striking Judgment.

Chaos finally made his way to the three watchers.

Tails: Chaos!

Chaos: Glad to see you're all doing okay. Where's Lord Y/n?

Star: Long story short. He awaken his True Dragoon Eyes, and now he's fighting Shadow.

Cosmo: And it looks like he's about to deal the final attack.

Chaos looked at Y/n's technique and gave a look of horror.

Chaos: Oh, no! He can't be using that one!

Tails: What do you mean? What's wrong with this technique?

Chaos: It's called, "Striking Judgment." It's the only Thunderhog technique that's a guaranteed kill. You see those dragons? Each one of them will fill Y/n's hand with a small spark of lightning that will come on to anyone Y/n touches and acts as a small bomb that'll set off a minute after it's placed. Once they go off, the shock from them will cause the target to be completely paralyzed and when they are, the user will store all the lightning in their hand and peirce the opponents chest and the lighting will burn the body until its nothing but ashes.

Star: That sounds like a really useful attack!

Cosmo: Yeah. How come he's never used it before.

Chaos: Because with such great power, there's always a cost. This cost is not only the targets life, but the users as well.

Tails/Cosmo/Star: What?!

Chaos: The technique generates so much electricity, it's even too much for a Thunderhog. A few seconds after the attack hits, the lightning will badly damage my Lord's heart and kill him.

Star: No!

Tails: Y/n, stop!

Y/n already struck Shadow three times.

Y/n: (Thinking: I'll miss you all. Mother, Cream, Cheese, Helen, Chaos, Star, Cosmo, Amy, Tails, Chris, Knuckles, and even you, Faker.)

Y/n struck Shadow two more times.

Y/n: (Thinking: I've done so many bad things, hopefully this'll make up for it somewhat.)

Three more times.

Y/n: (Thinking: I want to believe I'll see you again, Father, uncle, Aunt Cathy, but who am I kidding? I'm going to hell for sure.)

Y/n landed the final four strikes.

Y/n: This is the end, Shadow! Wait for me in hell!

The shocks activated and Shadow was left paralyzed and Y/n was about to finish it, but big ship crashed into Typhoon, causing Y/n to nearly lose his footing. Shadow's paralysis wore off and lightning dragons rushed at Y/n heart causing him to scream in pain. After a few seconds, Y/n's eyes rolled into his head and his burnt body nearly fell over

Star: (crying) Y/N!!!

Chaos grabbed Y/n and took him inside where the others ran to get to safety from the crash. The ship that crashed into them looked like a bigger version of Scarship, then they heard Dark Oak's voice.

Dark Oak: Well done, Cosmo. Or should I say, White Seed.

After hearing that, Cosmo let out a gasp.

Dark Oak: You have now completed your mission.

Star: White Seed? Mission? Cosmo, what's he talking about?

Cosmo: (Thinking: White Seed... Mission... What mission? What is he talking about?)

Flashback.

Cosmo and Star were running while their ship was being destroyed by Scarship. During it, some debris fell in between them.

Cosmo: Sister!

Star: I'm fine! I know a short-cut to the mini ships, keep running and I'll meet you there!

Cosmo nodded and kept running until she a Metarex soldier bursted through the wall in front of her.

Cosmo: (Thinking: It's too late. The Metarex are coming.)

Dark Oak talked through this Metarex.

Dark Oak: If you want to survive, then listen to me. Pay close attention.

Cosmo: (Thinking: Don't... Don't... listen...)

Dark Oak: From now on, you will report everything to me. Your eyes will be my eyes. Your ears will be my ears. You will be the ultimate spy. Your code name will be White Seed.)

End Flashback.

Cosmo grabbed her head and screamed in pain before the whole ship suddenly teleported.
