Narrator: Last time on Sonic X x Male Reader. A fleet of Metarex led by Dr. Eggman sent Sonic and friends into ship shock. Our heroes battled bravely, but were quickly outnumbered by their fearsome foes. Sonic and Y/n rushed to counter-attack when Eggman activate the ultimate speed trap. An energy barrier that Sonic and Y/n couldn't crack. With the end at hand, Tails and Y/n came up with a perilous plan and thanks for the power of the Master Emerald, Our Heroes foiled the enemy fleet and escape. In a big space station.

Dark Oak, his four Commanders, a bunch of minor Metarex, and Eggman with his robots were having a meeting.

Dark Oak: We have Sonic and Y/n on the run. They are hiding somewhere in this area.

Black Narcissus: They picked an excellent refugees. They are intense electromagnetic waves in that region of space.

Pale Bayleaf: The scanners will be useless. They and their crewmates will have the opportunity to recover from our battle.

Green Spruce: That Thunderhog brat will not escape me!

Dark Oak: We will find them. And when we do, they will be completely destroyed! With your help, Dr. Eggman. Once Sonic and Y/n have been eliminated, the victory of the Metarex will be assured. Any resistance against us will be futile.

Yellow Zelkova: we'll stomp on those Rebels like they're a bunch of ants and then we'll fulfill the destiny of the Galaxy.

Green Spruce: There will not be a creature in existence that can stand against us.

Elsewhere.

On a planet, Team Chaotix's base was set up as a Café called Café Chaotix. Lots of creatures were inside enjoying some juice.

Charmy: Welcome to Vector's juice bar. We put the squeeze on your thirst.

Charmy served drinks, Espio minded the counter, and Vector was playing the piano.

Vector: (turns to the camera) I bet you didn't know I was such a musical maestro, did ya? You shouldn't be surprised, I'm more than just a pretty face. Being a crock, I'm naturally swamped with talent. But you're probably wondering why I'm playing piano instead of doing detective work. It all started after the boys and me said adios to the crew of the Blue Typhoon.

Flashback.

They were flying through space.

Espio: Okay, Vector, hang a right just before the next star system.

Vector: Space-travel sure can be boring, somebody ought to build a rest stop in this part of the Galaxy so you can get out and stretch your legs.

Charmy: Oh, boy. I wish we could stop and grab a bite to eat.

Espio: There aren't any rest stops listed here.

Vector: Let's see.

Vector looked around until he saw the Cloister.

Vector: Maybe we'll find one over there.

Espio: I don't see that place on the map.

Charmy: Let's check it out.

Vector: Alrighty. After all, investigating unknown Mysteries it's part of a detective's job.

Charmy: Go for it, Vector!

Vector got to the Cloister and got caught in the gravity field.

Vector: What the?

Espio: It's some kind of gravity field.

Charmy: Woah, this is totally cool!

End flashback.

Vector: So, we ended up crash landing on this planet.

He saw Charmy dealing with a custumer.

Customer: Just send me a bill and I'll pay you next month.

Vector: Something wrong?

Charmy: This clown says he's gonna pay us later.

Vector: Later?!

Customer: Next week maybe.

Vector: Listen, pal. The policy in this establishment is when you pig out, you have to pay up.

Charmy: Whaddaya gonna do, Vector?

Vector: Let's see. I could try to squeeze the money out of him.

Customer: I know. What if I pay you tomorrow?

Vector: No way! It's cash or bash if you get my drift.

The customer gave Charmy some money.

Customer: That's everything I owe.

Charmy: Come back soon!

Espio: We won't be getting rich at this rate, Vector.

Vector: We just need to earn enough dough to pay for ship repairs, then we can be on our way.

They heard someone come in.

Charmy: Hi! What can we get you?

It was Eggman along with Decoe and Bocoe.

Vector: It's Eggman!

Eggman: Is that you, Vector?

Vector: What are you doing here?

Eggman: I'm looking for someone.

Vector: Oh, yeah?

Vector got out a paper and pen, along with a pair of reading glasses.

Vector: Now, I'll need a name or alias and you'll have to give me a description, too.

Eggman snapped his fingers and Decoe show Sonic, Y/n and the rest of their crew on a wanted poster.

Vector: Huh? How come you're looking for Sonic and Y/n?

Eggman: The Metarex would like to ask them a few questions.

Espio: They want to have a friendly chat, huh?

Vector: Forget it, Eggman! You'd have to be a low life to work for the Metarex.

Eggman: Check this out.

Eggman pull out a card with a black spider with a skull in the center.

Vector: You wanna play cards?

Eggman: This happens to be my new business card. I guess you haven't heard. The Metarex made me one of their top five Commanders. What a simpleton. Hurry and get all those posters plastered up.

Bocoe: Sure thing, Doctor.

Decoe: Hmm. This looks like a good spot.

Decoe put a poster on the wall.

Vector: Now hold on a second! I don't want my walls covered with wanted posters! Find someplace where they ain't gonna be an eyesore.

Bocoe: If you say so.

Decoe put a poster under a table and Eggman sat down at the bar.

Eggman: I'll have a nice, cold, refreshing glass of water.

Espio ignored him.

Eggman: I said, "water"!

Espio: Too late, Eggman. We just ran out.

Eggman: (grunt) I wish you would dry up.

Decoe/Bocoe: We are done putting up the posters, Doctor.

Eggman: If you do see Sonic, Y/n or their friends, contact me right away. Understand?

Vector: Sorry, Eggman. But I happen to be a crocodile, not a stool pigeon.

Eggman: Let's ditch this dump.

Bocoe: Yes, Doctor.

Decoe: Where will we go next?

They left the Café.

Charmy: What are ya gonna do, Vector? Will you let Sonic know about this?

Vector: You betcha.

They went upstairs where everyone except Tails, Cosmo, Star, Y/n and Chaos were hiding.

Knuckles: Eggman is putting up wanted posters?!

Cream: He's hunting us down like we're criminals!

Helen: That bastard.

Chris: This is bad news. If the Metarex find out we're hiding on this planet, they'll send a fleet after us. We won't have a chance.

Cheese: Chao, chao!

Amy: I need to fix our ship and get out of here.

Vector: You guys can't go outside. One of the locals might turn you all in.

Sonic: Then I'll make sure none of them see me.

Knuckles: We need parts. Tails, Y/n, Cosmo, Star and Chaos are waiting at the ship for them.

At the Typhoon.

The remaining group was standing outside the Typhoon waiting for everyone else.

Tails: I wonder where Sonic and the others are.

Cosmo: what if the Metarex found them?

Y/n: I should be down there helping them.

Chaos: I understand your frustration, My Lord, but you still need to be resting after how burned you got.

Star: Don't forget your eye damage. Speaking of which, it's time for your eye drops again.

Y/n sighed and pulled out a bottle of eye drops.

Back at the Café.

Sonic: I'll just dash to the store and buy the parts we need.

Vector: But when you pay at the register, they'll see your face.

Sonic: Okay, you're right. I can't do any shopping.

Chris: What are we gonna do? Without those parts, we'll be stuck here.

They spent a minute thinking.

Vector: Why don't you let me buy the parts for you.

Cream: Would you really?!

Vector: Sure. I run errands all the time when I'm doing Undercover work.

Vector pulled out a picture of him doing multiple things.

Vector: As you can see, I don't just collar crooks.

Sonic: Sorry, but we've only got enough cash for the parts.

Vector: Ah, don't worry about my salary. I think you guys are a ok. So, I'll take an IOU.

Charmy: Then it's settled.

Amy: All right, then.

Amy pulled out a wallet and a piece of paper.

Amy: Here's your shopping list.

Later.

After Vector left, Sonic saw Eggman and his robots walk by.

Decoe: We put up wanted posters all around town.

Bocoe: Oh, it was exhausting.

Decoe: Is there something wrong, Doctor?

Eggman looked at the Café, then back at his robots.

Eggman: It's none of your business. Let's go!

Decoe: Roger.

Bocoe: Whatever.

Eggman went to leave, but he looked at the open window. He sighed and just walk away when he saw nothing.

Sonic: (sigh in relief) For a second there, I thought he saw me.

They heard someone come in.

Charmy: How'd it go, Vector?

Vector: No, problem.

Knuckles: All right, let's go help Vector unload the parts.

Back at the ship.

Tails: Maybe they did run into trouble.

Cosmo: It must be the Metarex.

Star: If it is, I'm sure they won't have too much trouble. Not only do they have powerhouses like Sonic and Knuckles, but they also have Cream and Helen.

Y/n: I just hope their alright.

???: Yes, it would truly be a shame if something were to happen to them.

They turned there heads to see Green Spruce leaning on the ship.

Cosmo: (gasp) It's you!

Y/n: Green Spruce.

Green Spruce: Should I be honored that the Lord of the Thunderhogs remembers me? Who wouldn't really?

He looked at Star.

Green Spruce: Ah, it's nice to see you haven't been burned to a pile of ash, my dear.

Star got angry at that and jumped into the air, trying to smash him with a kick, but Spruce dodged.

Green Spruce: It's cute you thought that would do anything. Adorable actually.

Chaos rushed at Spruce and swang a bunch of wipes at him, but he put up a wooden dome with spikes to block the wipes then used it to send Chaos back. Y/n saw everything and got up.

Green Spruce: Want your turn now, Lord Y/n?

Spruce summoned a bunch of thorny branches and sent the thorns at Y/n, but he summoned a Grand Dragoon to protect himself and strike at Spruce, but he jumped out of the way again. Y/n's eyes began to bleed again as he dropped to one knee.

Tails/Cosmo/Star: Y/n!

Green Spruce: That's rather unfortunate.

Y/n: (dispurse Grand Dragoon) What do you want? If you wanted to kill us, you would've done it while our backs were turned.

Green Spruce: I would just like to take a little stroll. Care to join, Thunderhog?

Cosmo: Don't trust him, Y/n.

Chaos: I hate to agree with this plant, but you shouldn't go with him, Lord Y/n.

Y/n: I'll be fine.

Y/n followed the Metarex Commander and they walked side by side.

Green Spruce: You were pretty smart to come to a planet like this one.

Y/n: Just cut to the chase.

Green Spruce: ...All right. I've noticed that your eyes have been bothering you alot lately. I know a place where you can get new ones.

Y/n: Really? Where?

Green Spruce: Go to Planet Sadala. That's where they'll be.

Y/n: Why are you telling me this?

Green Spruce: See, I'm also in need of those eyes, and it'll be so fun if I could kill you while getting them. I'll see you there.

Spruce sunk into the ground and Y/n walked back to his group.

Back at the Café.

Knuckles: (grunting) These... parts are heavy!

They carried all the parts Vector got into the addic with them.

Chris: This is the last part.

Amy: Let's call Tails to pick this up in the X-Tornado.

Amy was about to use her comlink.

Chris: Amy, they could be monitoring our communications.

Amy: What are you saying? You expect us to carry the parts there?

Vector came up to them.

Vector: I can take you guys over.

Sonic: Oh, really?

Vector: Sure, I'm a warm hearted reptile.

Vector put up a close sign on the shop and got everyone into his ship.

Vector: Okay. Hang on, everybody.

Eggman came through the com.

Eggman: Vector, I'm in your restaurant. We need to talk.

Chris: That figures.

Amy: Oh, what's Eggman doing her? I'd like to give him a piece of my mind and fist!

Helen: Yeah, let's give him the boot!

Vector: Don't worry, I'll go show Dr. Egghead the exit. Be right back.

Vector walked into the restaurant where he saw Eggman sitting at the bar.

Vector: I already told you I'm not going to help you, Eggman.

Eggman: If you're this rude to all your customers, it's no wonder this place is empty.

Amy: What does he want, anyway?

Chris: Eggman's a pain.

Vector: We're closed up for the night.

Eggman: I'm not leaving this stool.

Vector: Oh, really?

Eggman: I came here tonight to celebrate and that's exactly what I'm going to do, Vector.

Vector: Celebrate what?

Eggman: Before this night is over, I'm going to be rid of Sonic and Y/n the Hedgehog and once and for all. The Metarex sent me to track them down, and now I figured out exactly where they're hiding. (small laugh) Those two don't suspect anything, so they won't stand a chance when the Metarex attack.

Knuckles: So, Eggman is setting us up.

Cream: This is bad! What do we do, Sonic?

Sonic just gave a small smirk. Meanwhile, Vector began to pour Eggman a drink.

Vector: How about some juice?

Eggman gave a small chuckle. Meanwhile, the others weren't happy.

Amy: No way!

Knuckles: Vector was supposed to get rid of Eggman.

Chris: Yeah, what's he letting him hang around for?

Sonic: Heh. Dr. Eggman doesn't get to defeat us very often, so he really deserves to enjoy it this time.

Everyone else: Huh?

Eggman took a sip of his drink.

Eggman: Let me tell you, those Metarex aren't kidding around. They've had enough of Sonic, Y/n and their friends, and this time they're planing to pull out all the stops to make sure they're destroyed once and for all!

Vector: Really? What are they gonna do?

Eggman: It's a secret. Let's just say, it will involve a whole Fleet of ships attacking the Blue Typhoon.

Eggman gave a big grin.

Eggman: I almost wish I could give Sonic or Y/n some kind of warning. I'm sure they'd much rather be beaten by me than those miserable Metarex.

Eggman gave another chuckle.

Amy: Eggman's got some ego.

Cream: I wish I could go in there and tell him off.

Helen: I wish I could kick some sense into him.

Eggman got up from his seat.

Eggman: I'll be shoving off now.

Vector: I don't ever want to see you in here again, Eggman.

Eggman: That's the best news I've had all day.

Eggman was about to leave when he got a call from Bokkun.

Bokkun: Come in, Doctor.

Eggman: What now?

Bokkun: I thought you should know, I just spotted Bayleaf's Fleet!

Eggman: All right, keep me posted.

He ended the call.

Eggman: Oh, well. I guess Sonic and Y/n are goners. That fleet will stay in orbit around the planet waiting for the Blue Typhoon to take off so they can destroy it. Yes, the second the Metarex spot that ship, it will be blown into a billion bits. There won't be any Escape for Sonic and Y/n the Hedgehog this time.

He finally left the building.

Vector: Huh, he could use an acting coach.

Chris: We can't leave the planet now even if we fix the ship.

Amy: But if we just stay here, sooner or later they'll track us down and attack us anyway.

Knuckles: (Thinking: We're trapped, and we can't put up a fight. Our laser cannons aren't powerful enough to take on an entire fleet.)

Sonic: (Thinking: Thanks for the tip off, Eggman.)

Later.

They all made it back to the Blue Typhoon.

Cosmo: Do you know how many ships the Metarex have in their fleet?

Knuckles: 'Fraid not.

Amy: Why don't you just use the scope?

Tails: They're not working. I disconnected all the Scopes to make repairs and it'll take hours to reconnect to them.

Cosmo: What are the options?

Sonic: If we just sit around here, he won't have any chance of getting away.

Cosmo: What should we do?

Sonic: We have to repair our ship and take on that Fleet.

Sonic looked to Team Chaotix.

Sonic: You wanna join us?

Vector: No offense, Sonic, but we'd rather play it safe than to be sorry.

Y/n took Sonic to the side to speak to him.

Y/n: Sonic, you said Robotnik was obvious about the fleet, right?

Sonic: Yeah. If you ask me, it was a little too obvious.

The two hedgehogs gave each other knowing looks.

Later.

Team Chaotix's were back at the Café doing their respective jobs until Eggman came in with his arm in a sling.

Vector: (stops music) Huh?

Eggman: Play it again, Vector.

Vector played again.

Vector: I thought I told you to never come back here.

Eggman: Believe me, I didn't want to come back, but I didn't have any place else to go.

He sat down at the bar.

Eggman: I'll have a prune juice and a soft boiled egg.

Espio: Well, Vector?

Vector: Hmm. Give him what he wants.

Espio: Are you sure?

Vector: Yeah. And it's all on the house, too.

Espio just Shrugged his shoulders and poured the juice. Giving it and an egg to Eggman that he proceeded to crack into the juice.

Eggman: Here's to my best enemies.

Eggman completely shot the drink down.

Meanwhile, his robots were in a destroyed replica of the Blue Typhoon.

Bocoe: Why did we have to protect Sonic and Y/n?

Decoe: Yeah. I thought Dr. Eggman wanted to see them destroyed.

Bokkun: If you ask me, the docs starting to go soft... in the head.

Meanwhile.

Sonic, Y/n and the rest of the crew left the planet in the real Typhoon.

Knuckles: I thought there was supposed to be a Metarex Fleet waiting for us, but there isn't even a single ship here.

Amy: we should have suspected all along it was a lie. I guess Eggman was just trying to psych us out.

Chris: I'm glad he lied. If there was a fleet here, we'd be in trouble. Wouldn't we, Sonic?

Sonic stayed silent.

Sonic: (Thinking: Thanks, Doctor. You're not such a bad egg after all.)

Y/n: Well, even if there was a fleet, we wouldn't be in as much trouble as you think.

Helen: What do you mean?

Y/n: If there was a fleet, I would have just had Chaos go perfect and his Chaos beam should have been enough to wipe them all out.

Chaos: And if there was a fleet, it would have been more than likely there was a Commander. We kill him, that would have meant one less enemy for us.

Y/n: Speaking of Metarex Commanders, there's something I need to tell you guys.
