Sonic was in his super form and he destroyed a lot of metal like things in space. After he was done, Sonic began to pant.

Sonic: (Thinking: He's tougher than I thought. I better finish this.)

He was face with another robotic foe.

Sonic charged at him, but Sonic was easily knocked back.

Dark robot: Your defeat is certain. Give me the Chaos Emeralds and I will spare your life.

Sonic summoned the Chaos Emeralds out of his body.

Sonic: Chaos Control!

A bright light blinded the dark robotic being as the seven Chaos Emeralds scattered throughout the Universe, bur Sonic reverted back to normal and fell back to the planet. The being had just now discovered it had a dent in its stomach.

Dark robot: Sonic has only delayed my Triumph. Those emeralds will be mine. Alert my forces across the galaxy! Begin the search for the Chaos Emeralds at once! Do not rest until you bring them all to me!

There were several red eyes flashing behind it.

Dark robot: Remove the planet egg!

The being flew off into the galaxy.

Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese were sitting under the night sky with a camera and they were on a picnic blanket.

Cream: How much longer do we have to wait, Tails?

Tails: I'm not exactly sure, Cream. Not too long.

Amy: This would be so romantic if Sonic were here to see it with me! Soon,the whole Sky will be filled with shooting stars.

Tails: According to the astronomers, we only get a meteor shower this humongous once every 500 years or so. We're really lucky to be here.

Cream: I sure wouldn't want to wait that long to see it again, would you?

Cheese: Chao!

Y/n showed up at that moment.

Y/n: I certainly wouldn't want to wait.

Cream: Big brother, you came!

Y/n: Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Amy: We should all make a wish!

Tails: Why should we do that?

Cream: Chris told us to make a wish whenever you see a shooting star, it'll come true! Remember, Tails?

Tails: Yeah. It's too bad Chris and Chuck aren't here to see this with us.

Cream: I miss them. I wish we could go back to their world for a visit.

Y/n: And that is what I'm trying to do.

Amy: You've been working on it for six months and you still haven't made any progress.

Y/n: Just like you couldn't make any progress with Sonic in that time.

Amy: Want to say that a little louder!?

Y/n: Gladly!

Tails: All right, brake it up. Look.

They saw thousands of shooting stars.

Tails: It's starting!

Cream: They look like fireworks.

Tails: I'm sure glad I brought a camera.

Y/n: They look so beautiful. Wait.

He saw one that looked like it was coming right at them.

Y/n: Why does one of them seem like it's coming right at us?! Hit the deck!

They ducked down and the weird meteor shot over them and landed in the near distance, causing an explosion. The gang went to the crash site.

Amy: That's no shooting star.

Y/n: It looks like some kind of space craft. Huh?

They look lower to see two creatures that seem female. One had green hair with two buns that look like rose buds, wore a green, long-sleeved dress with yellow wrist, a long white skirt that looked like a flower, a red gem in the middle of her chest, and green shoes. While the others one looked older, had yellow hair that reached to the top of her back, three buns that were like white rose buds, two on the side of her head, and one on top of it, a yellow long-sleeved dress with green wrist, a white flower like skirt that was a little shorter than the other ones, a red gem in the middle of her chest that was pretty developed, and yellow shoes. Both of them were on the ground unconscious. The others went to them and checked on them.

Y/n: They're alive, just unconscious.

Tails: But they still need help.

Amy: Your house is the closest one around here, Cream. I think we should take them there.

Y/n: Me, Chaos, Cream and Cheese will go on with... (picks up the yellow one) this one and we'll let mother know of your arrival.

Chaos came from Y/n's bracelet.

Chaos: Lord Y/n, are you sure that's a good idea? We don't know anything about them.

Y/n: I'll be on full guard in case they try anything. No need to worry, Chaos.

Chaos: Right. I'm sorry I doubted you.

Y/n: It's fine. I know you're just being cautious. Cream, Cheese let's go.

Y/n ran of with the yellow one while Cream and Cheese flew after them.

Later.

Tails and Amy got to Cream and Y/n's house and put the green one in the guest bedroom while the yellow one was on Y/n's bed with Y/n, Chaos, Cream and Cheese watching after her.

Cream: I wonder when she'll wake up.

Chaos: Why exactly did you give her your bed, Y/n?

Y/n: There was only one guest bedroom.

Chaos: Are you completely sure about this, My Lord?

Y/n: Yeah. They don't seem particularly strong and they're both sure to be hurt after the crash. So, I should easily be able to take care of them.

The yellow girl started to stir and she opened her violet eyes, then she sat up and looked around.

Yellow girl: Where am I?

Y/n: You're in my house. Well, you're in my room in my mother's house.

Star: (gasp) Where's my sister?!

Y/n: You mean the little green one? She's upstairs in the guest bedroom.

The yellow girl jumped out of bed.

Yellow girl: Then that's where I'm going!

She tried to leave, but Y/n blocked the door.

Y/n: First, answer my question. It's a really simple one.

Yellow girl: What is it?

Y/n: Who are you?

Star: Oh, how rude of me. I'm Star, head of the Seedrian Clan. And the one in your guest bedroom is my younger sister, Cosmo. Who I love and care for very much. So, can I please see her?

Y/n: Very well. I'll lead you to her.

They left the room and went to the guest bedroom to see Tails, Amy and Vanilla looking after Cosmo.

Star: Cosmo!

She ran to her sister's bedside.

Tails: I see she's awake.

Star looked at Cosmo's cheek to see it was slightly bruised.

Y/n: If you're worried about her cheek, the bruise will be gone in a couple days.

Star: Or I could make it go away in ten seconds.

She put one of her hands over her sister's bruised cheek and a green light came out of Star's hand, then ten seconds later Cosmo's bruise was gone.

Tails: Woah.

Y/n: You seem like a great healer.

Star: Yeah, I'm pretty good if I do say so myself.

Cosmo started to stir and open her blue eyes.

Vanilla: Look, she's waking up.

Cosmo sat up and saw Star looking at her with relief.

Star: Sister!

Star hugged Cosmo deeply.

Star: I was so worried about you! Are you hurt? Do you need me to heal you anywhere?

Cosmo: No, I feel fine.

Amy: You were both in a big crash. You're really lucky that neither of you had any serious injuries.

Star: Girl, if I did have any serious injuries, they heal themselves. Not immediately, but quickly.

Cream: Well, would you mind telling us where you two and your ship came here from?

Cosmo: We can't.

Cream: You mean, you can't remember?

Star: I can.

Cosmo: And so can I, but we can't tell you.

Y/n ran to Cosmo and placed a hand on her head.

Y/n: (intimidating tone) Listen, we let you and your sister stay here to rest, so the least you could do is tell us why you're here.

Cosmo: (scared) Uh, we are looking for two people on this p-planet named Sonic and Y/n the Hedgehog.

Star: (a little scared) W-We need to talk to them about something important.

Y/n: Well, you're both in luck. I'm Y/n the Hedgehog

Star: Wait, really? But you're mother's a rabbit. Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing, it's just...

Y/n: I know it can be confusing, but I really am Y/n the Hedgehog. The small rabbit is my little sister, Cream and her Chao, Cheese.

Cream: It's nice to meet you.

Y/n: The one in this bracelet is my partner, Chaos.

Chaos: Hi.

Y/n: And the other two are my friends.

Tails: My name's Miles Prower, but everybody calls me by my nickname, Tails.

Amy: And my name's Amy Rose. You're not gonna be here long, are you?

They heard something outside and saw something coming down from the sky.

Cream: What's that?

Tails: It's something big.

Cosmo got out of bed.

Star: Cosmo, don't strain yourself.

Star supported her sister and they both walked to the window to see it was one of those metal creatures Sonic was fighting.

Cosmo: It's another Metarex.

Star: Those little. Mrs. Rabbit, could you watch my sister for awhile?

Vanilla: Certainly, dear.

Vanilla took Cosmo and Star jumped out the window.

Cosmo: Sister!

Amy: What on Earth is she thinking?!

Y/n: (sigh) Here we go again. Cream, hold down the fort.

Cream: Yes, sir!

Y/n jumped out the window and followed after her.

With Knuckles.

He was sleeping on Angel Island until he suddenly woke up to see the Metarex land on the planet.

Knuckles: This looks like trouble.

Metarex: (red visor) Preparing area for Planet egg removal!

It started to shoot red lightning everywhere which burned and destroyed all the trees around it.

Knuckles: If that thing isn't stopped, it's gonna burn up every tree in the forest!

Knuckles quickly got down there.

Knuckles: Hey, knock it off you, fire-pot!

Knuckles punch the Metarex and was shocked when his punch did nothing. Then the Metarex struck Knuckles and sent him a good distance away.

???: Hey, why don't you pick on someone your own size!

Star showed up and kicked the Metarex, which only slightly damaged it, the Metarex struck back and Star was sent flying, but Y/n caught her.

Y/n: So, explain to me now why exactly you thought rushing in without a plan was a good idea.

Tails came in the X-Tornado and shot the Metarex with missiles.

Tails: Hey, guys!

Knuckles regrouped with Y/n and Star.

Knuckles: All right, maybe we can stop it together.

Cosmo was in the X-Tornado with Tails.

Tails: This doesn't look good.

Knuckles: Looks like are only choice is to keep pounding away.

Tails: We're going on the attack. Are you ready?

Cosmo: Yes.

Y/n: What about you, Star?

Star: I may not seem like it, but I'm a pretty good fighter.

Y/n: Good.

They went on the offensive. Knuckles punches and the X-Tornado's lasers weren't doing anything. While Star's punches and kicks were making small dents and Y/n's blades were making small cuts, but nothing was doing any serious damage.

Tails: Our lasers have no effect.

Cosmo: You need to use much stronger attacks if you're ever going to beat a Metarex.

Tails: Do you know why it came here or why it's destroying all the trees?

Cosmo: It's mission is to find the life force of this planet and steal it away.

Y/n: Is that even possible?

Star: It very much is. I've seen it happen before.

Suddenly, Sonic showed up and knocked the Metarex over with a Spindash.

Tails: He's back.

Cosmo tried to get up but she hit her head on the class lid.

Tails: Are you okay?

Cosmo: Yes. So, that's Sonic? Him and Y/n being our final hope.

Y/n: My Faker has finally arrived.

Star: That's Sonic the Hedgehog? He's a bit shorter than I thought he'd be.

Chaos: They always seem shorter in person.

The Metarex got up.

Sonic: You're the one who's going down in flames now!

In Chris's world.

Chris was working on a machine and Helen came to check on him.

Helen: Hey, how's it coming along?

Chris: Still have few things to work out. Hey, I know. Maybe if I increase the energy of the transport circuits...

He started typing in a computer.

Chris: That's it. All right! It's finally time to try this out.

Helen: Really?

Chris: This machine's like the one grandpa and Tails built to send Sonic and the others back home, but it doesn't need Chaos Emeralds. If it works, we'll finally see Sonic and Y/n again.

Helen: I'd like that.

They looked at two framed photos. One was Chris with Amy, Tails and Sonic. While the other was Helen hugged Cream and Cheese with Y/n crossing his arms and closed eyes. Then a breeze came and made both photos fall and break.

Helen: (gasp) Do you think that means something bad?

Chris picked up both photos.

Chris: We're coming.

Back on Mobius.

Tails: Heads up, Sonic!

Tails threw a ring towards Sonic who caught it.

Sonic: Thanks, Tails!

Sonic Spindashed the Metarex again, but this time it was able to stand its ground and send out little books to keep everyone away from it.

Knuckles: It's pretty tough.

Sonic: Yeah, but we can beat him, buddy.

Knuckles: Got a plan?

Sonic: Double-team. Let's go!

Knuckles: Right!

They both ran ahead.

Star: Think we should do the same?

Y/n: Let's wait and see what happens first, then we'll jump in. It'll fail.

Star: Why do you say that?

In the X-Tornado.

Cosmo: I thought Sonic would move much more quickly than he does.

Tails: Something's not right. Sonic's not moving as fast as he usually does.

Y/n: Not to mention he could've easily done more damage to this Metarex. I just want to see this and confirm my suspension.

The Metarex shot more red lightning everywhere to stop Sonic and Knuckles. Tails shot more missiles, still doing nothing.

Tails: This is impossible. No matter how hard we hit that thing it keeps going.

Knuckles: you will have to use the Chaos Emeralds to stop this thing.

Y/n: We might even need to use Perfect Chaos. Usually, I'm against it due to how much destruction it can cause, but I don't think we have a choice at this point.

Knuckles: I'll distract it with a frontal attack so you two can move in and finish it off.

Y/n: Sonic, this was your week with the Emeralds. Get them out.

Sonic: I'd like to, but I don't happen to have the Chaos Emeralds with me right now.

Knuckles: Where are they?

Sonic: Well, I kind of got into this fight out in space and the bad guy was gonna take them from me, so sent them away.

Knuckles: You finally had all seven Chaos Emeralds together and you threw them away?

Sonic: Exactly.

Knuckles: Are you crazy?! What are we gonna do?!

Sonic: I guess we're gonna have to find them again.

Y/n: Sonic, you dumb ass.

Star: I can't believe you're one of this universe's final hopes.

Sonic and Knuckles finally noticed Star.

Sonic: And who are you.

Star: We'll cover that later.

Y/n: If only we had a way to prevent its movements.

Star: I could do that.

Y/n: You can?

Chaos: How?

Star: I'll show you.

Star put both hands on the ground.

Star: Ensnaring Roots!

Large roots burst out of the ground and ensnared the Metarex.

Y/n: You have healing powers, and you have plant manipulation? That's incredible!

Star: (blushing) Aw, it's nothing really.

Chaos: Can we focus.

Y/n: Right.

Y/n Spindash the Metarex hard, then Chaos incised his arms and Y/n spun around.

Y/n/Chaos: Chaos Spin!

Y/n and Chaos's spin attack cut off the Metarex's right arm.

Knuckles: Those two are actually doing serious damage!

Star stared at Y/n in amazement as the flames gave a shine to his eyes. She put her hands together and put them in front of her with a deep blush.

Star: (blushing) I am so in love right now.

Sonic: What?

Star: What?

The Metarex used its hooks to break the roots around it and used it remaining arm to swat Y/n away.

Chaos: You okay, My Lord.

Y/n: I'm alive.

The Metarex shot more lightning at Y/n, but Spark showed up out of nowhere and he took the lightning to send it back to the Metarex.

Y/n: Uncle!

Spark: I was just enjoying a quiet night, then I come to see a forest fire. What even is that?

Chaos: According to the yellow one, it's called "a Metarex."

Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the ground.

Metarex: Proceeding with Planet egg removal.

A bright light envelop the area and a crater formed where the beam was and in it was some type of crystal that the Metarex took with its remaining arm.

Knuckles: What in the world is that?

Cosmo: He's found the Planet egg.

Tails: What's the Planet egg?

Cosmo: It's the life force that sustains your world.

The trees lost their leaves as the grass also disappeared.

Cosmo: The Planet egg is what gives your world the power to support life. Without it, every living thing here will soon perish.

Metarex: Procedure completed. Liftoff.

The Metarex started to hover away.

Sonic: Hold on!

He tried to Spindash it, but the Metarex easily knocked him back.

Knuckles: I gotcha.

Knuckles caught him.

Y/n: Uncle, we can't let it leave.

Spark: I'll give you a boost!

Spark took Y/n and threw him at the Metarex as Y/n charged a Thunder Jab. The Metarex sent its hooks after him, but Y/n deflected all of them and even severed the Metarex's leg, but the Metarex kept going and Y/n began to fall.

Star: Don't worry, I got you.

Star jumped up, caught Y/n, and used her skirt to float them back down.

Y/n: Thank you, Star. I owe you.

Tails: I'll stop that thing.

The X-Tornado chased after the Metarex, but the already left the atmosphere.

Tails: I can't go any higher cause this plane wasn't designed to travel into space!

Cosmo began to groan.

Tails: Are you all right, Cosmo?

Cosmo: I'm just a little dizzy.

Tails: I'm sorry. I just wish I got the Planet egg back.

Cosmo: Could you open this for a moment, please?

Tails: Huh?

Cosmo: You can open it while you're flying, can't you?

Tails: Yeah, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to do it at this altitude.

Cosmo: Please, Tails.

Tails: Okay, if you really want me to.

He opened up the lid.

Tails: There you go.

Tails gasped when he saw Cosmo jump out of the plane.

On the ground.

Everyone regrouped, even Cream, Cheese, and Amy were there now.

Knuckles: You didn't put up much of a fight against that thing, Sonic. Even the new girl did better than you. Are you sure you're feeling okay?

Amy: You don't seem like you're old to self.

Y/n: He was in a big fight before this one.

Sonic: It's been a long day, so I guess I'm a little tired. Huh?

Everyone looked up and saw Cosmo floating down with her skirt.

Y/n: Can everyone in your clan do that?

Star: Just the females.

Cosmo finally landed.

Star: Now, Sonic, allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Star, head of the Seedrian Clan. This is my younger sister...

Cosmo: My name is Cosmo. We've come a long way to see you and Y/n, Sonic. We need to speak to you both.

Sonic: Okay.

Y/n: Now that Sonic is here, will you tell us why you're both here?

Cosmo: We've sought you both out because we know you two have the power to control the Chaos Emeralds. We have come here because you two are the ones who can rescue the Galaxy.

Sonic: We are?!

Y/n: You mean, you want us to help you stop the Metarex.

Star: If it's not too much trouble.

Tails: Guys, it's happening!

Tails ran over to them.

Knuckles: What's happening?

They went to Angel Island and saw the Master Emerald glowing bright. Then they saw two figures coming out of it.

Sonic/Knuckles: Hey, that's Chris.

Y/n/Chaos: And Helen.

Chris: It worked. I did it. I actually did it.

Helen: You did. This is so great.

Chris/Helen: Sonic/Y/n!

They tripped as they now realize they weren't teenagers anymore, but the little kids they were all that time ago, making their clothes look bigger.
