Amy: The new Emerald Coast Resort sounds like the perfect place to get away from it all. You can hang out at the beach, or float in the crystal clear ocean all day long, then dine as you watch a spectacular sunset. It sounds absolutely romantic. I wish we we're going to the opening party.

Everyone was packing stuff into the X Tornado except for Sonic who was laying down some distance.

Cream: We'll have fun at the Thorndyke's villa.

Y/n: I still don't understand how you convinced me to go, Cream.

Cream: I guess I can be convincing at times. Are you ready to go, Cheese?

Cheese: Chao, chao.

Tails: I'm ready too, guys. My flight plan will take us to right to the Emerald Coast.

Chris: Be careful, Tails, and try not to let anybody see you.

Y/n: That's the only reason I'm going, to silence anyone who does see us.

Chuck: You know, Y/n. Almost everything you say gives me a bad feeling.

Y/n: Don't worry about it, Chuck.

Chuck: You should be fine as long as you stay on the grounds of the villa.

Chris: I wish I could hang out with them instead of going to the resort opening.

Chuck: I know, but your mother can't make it, so she needs you to go in her place.

Y/n: Just look at it as a way to prove your not as re-

Amy: Don't you say that word! Don't you say that word!

Y/n: Well, I'm sure you won't have to stay long, then you can waste your time with us in the villa.

Chris: That's great! I can give you a swimming lesson, Sonic.

Sonic: You guys go on without me. I'm gonna stay right here.

Cream/Chris: Huh?

Amy: Sonic, you mean you're not coming with us?

Sonic: That's right.

Sonic stood up.

Sonic: Have fun, I gotta run.

Y/n: It seems I was right, you don't have the balls to handle a bit of water.

Sonic got angry.

Sonic: All right, what is it with you?! You're always balls this, balls that! It's so annoying!

Everyone was shocked to see Sonic act like that except Y/n who just smirked.

Y/n: My, Sonic. This is a side of you I haven't seen, I kinda like it.

Sonic realized how he acted.

Sonic: Sorry about that, guys.

Sonic ran out of there.

Tails: Wow, I've never seen anyone make Sonic act like that before.

Chris: I wonder why Sonic doesn't want to go with us to the Emerald Coast with us.

Y/n: I told you why, Sonic's afraid of water.

Amy: Yeah, Sonic won't go near the ocean because he can't swim.

Y/n: Which is why he's such a weakling and a loser.

Tails: That doesn't necessarily make him a loser. Sonic could at least run on the beach.

Amy: It's not gonna be as much fun without Sonic.

Y/n: And that's what makes you such a loser.

Amy: What?!

A hunk was heard.

Chris: Well meet up later.

Amy: Okay, don't be long.

Tails: See you there.

Cheese: Chao, chao, chao.

Amy: And don't be nervous, Chris. That opening party will be just fine.

Chris: Uh, yeah.

He laughed nervously.

Y/n: If you get too nervous just take a deep breath in then out.

Chris: Thanks for the advice.

Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese, and Y/n were in the X Tornado and were about to take off.

Tails: Next stop, Emerald Coast. Hang on.

The plane was picking up speed and about to take off.

Tails: Here we go!

The X Tornado finally took off.

Meanwhile.

Sonic was laying in a flower field.

Sonic: Who needs the ocean and that jerk Y/n?

The gang made it to the villa and they were all playing in the water except for Y/n who was just floating in it and Amy who was under water. Then Amy surfaced.

Amy: This place is unbelievable.

Tails: It sure is, Amy. I'm really glad we came.

Cream: And we'll have even more fun when Chris gets here.

Amy looked at Y/n.

Amy: Well, I guess we can't all like the same thing.

Tails: Y/n, why aren't you enjoying our trip?

Y/n: Because it's a waste of time, being here is a waste of time.

Amy: Well, what else would we be doing?

Y/n: Oh, I don't know, maybe look for the other six Chaos Emeralds so we can get back home.

Tails: We'll have plenty of time to do that.

Y/n: Look, staying here for a little while might be fine with you two, but what about Cream? If we can get her home, then she'll be reunited with her mother and be happy.

Amy: Okay, why do you care so much about what will make Cream happy?

Y/n: Oh, so you don't care about her happiness? Some friends you are.

Tails: No, we do care about her happiness.

Cream: Y/n, I am happy, but what would make me even happier is if you try to have a little fun too.

Y/n thought for a moment and then sighed.

Y/n: Fine.

Tails: Look, after today we'll restart our search for the Chaos Emeralds.

Y/n: That sounds good to me.

With Chris.

A bunch of people in fancy clothing were talking while Chris looked board.

Mr. Tanaka: Try to look interested.

With Amy.

Amy was walking on the beach.

Amy: Lovely. I just wish Sonic were here to enjoy this with me.

She started to have a romantic fantasy of her and Sonic running in the water, swimming together, then ended with them watching the sunset while holding hands and kissing.

Amy: (blushing) It would be so romantic! Oh! We'd be so happy.

Y/n ran to her and started to walk beside her.

Y/n: Let me guess, you just had a romantic fantasy of you and Sonic.

Amy: How'd you know?

Y/n: Tails told me you often have those.

Amy: Well, don't you have fantasies of you and someone together?

Y/n: No I don't. Because I'm not a selfish, lovesick bitch like you.

Amy got her hammer out.

Amy: What did you just call me!?

She smashed it down but Y/n got out of the way.

Y/n: Although, I don't know why you're In love with a weakling like Sonic.

Amy brought the hammer down on him again but he got out of the way again.

Amy: Sonic is my boyfriend and I will not let you talk to him like that any longer!

Y/n: Really? Last I checked girlfriends were supposed to make you feel loved, not make you wonder if jumping off a bridge would be a good option.

This time Amy threw her hammer which Y/n ran past and punch Amy in the head.

Amy: Ow!

Then Tails, Cream, and Cheese finally showed up.

Tails: What's going on!?

Amy: Y/n here just insulted and hit me.

Y/n: That second part was me defending myself.

Cream: Is that true, Amy?

Amy: Well, uh.

Y/n: Just look over there.

They turned to where he was pointing and saw Amy's hammer along with two holes in the sand.

Cream/Tails: Amy!

Amy: Well, I wouldn't have done that if he hadn't insulted me!

Y/n: And I wouldn't have insulted you if what I said wasn't true. Maybe if you weren't so annoying no one would find you so unlikable.

Amy: If you don't like me, then stop hanging around me!

Y/n: I will!!! Once I leave you'll be miserable because you won't have anyone to remind you of "Your sweet Sonic."

Amy: Actually, everyone would have a blast without you around, but I'm sure you'll come crawling back.

Amy got hit with Y/n's Spindash and got sent flying back.

Amy: All right, we've put up with your attitude long enough, but if you don't start behaving yourself, you'll find yourself in a dumpster.

Y/n: Let's see if you say that after I cut off your arms.

Amy picked up her hammer and Y/n's bracelets extended into blades but Cream and Cheese stopped them.

Cream: Enough! We came here to have fun, not hurt each other!

Cheese: Chao, chao!

Tails: Cream and Cheese are right! Look, just say you're sorry to each other.

Amy/Y/n: Hmph.

Amy walked to the left while Y/n walked towards Tails.

Tails: Look, I'm not sure how we're gonna feel about you and Amy being at each other's throats.

Y/n: That's simple, just stay out of it.

He put his mouth near Tails ear.

Y/n: (Whisper: And just one thing, if you do interfere you'll join Amy in the afterlife.)

Tails turned blue in fear.

Tails: I'll be sure to remember that. So, how can you use Spindash without a power ring?

Y/n: It really isn't that hard, I could probably even teach Cream how to do it.

Cream: Oh, will you please teach me?!

Y/n: Okay, but you're gonna have to work harder than you've ever worked before.

With Amy.

Amy: That guy just infuriates me!

Amy heard some people laughing and she saw the laughing came from a couple in the distance.

Girl: You're so wonderful, Chad.

Chad: So are you, Wendy.

Amy: Sonic, where are you?!

The echo reached Cream, Cheese and Y/n.

Cream: What was that?

Y/n: We'll worry about that later. Now first step to Spindash is to bend down on your knees and make sure your quills are sticking up.

Y/n demonstrated what to do.

Cream: But I don't have quills.

Y/n: Then pretend that you're big ears are your quills.

Cream: Okay.

Back with Amy.

Wendy: Chad, I made something for you.

Chad: For me?

Amy hid behind a rock.

Wendy: Yes, it's nothing really, but I want you to have it.

The gived was a bracelet made out of pink shells.

Wendy: It's a lucky charm for when you go in the water. It's just like mine.

Chad: Thank you.

Chad took the bracelet.

Chad: I'll always wear it and think of you.

Wendy: Oh, Chad.

Chad: Oh, Wendy.

Later.

Amy was back at the villa making a bracelet of her own.

Amy: Hmm, I wonder what Sonic would say.

She started to play with the bracelet and that's when Cream showed up out of nowhere.

Cream: Who's that for, Amy?

Amy: Uh... Oh, nobody.

Cream: You didn't make that for Sonic, did you?

Y/n: What do you think?

The saw Y/n climb up to the balcony.

Amy: You again.

All of them heard an explosion at the resort and everyone there was running from a giant pink octopus robot that was sided by Eggman.

Eggman: I'm turning the Emerald Coast Resort into my kind of stomping ground.

The robot started to destroy everything in the Coast and everyone started running for their lives.

Eggman: All right. Time for my de-construction crew.

A bunch of crab like robots with tools came out of the water and started to destroy more of the resort.

Chris: I have to find a way to call Sonic, but I'm sure Y/n can't be too far away.

Two of the robots corned Chris, Ella, and Mr. Tanaka.

Eggman: You're my first guests. Welcome to Eggman's Scream Park where your first vacation is guaranteed to be your last.

Eggman started to chuckle and Mr. Tanaka got in front of Chris.

Mr. Tanaka: Stay back, Chris. I will guard you. As your father's servant, it is my duty to protect you even if it means sacrificing myself. Now it is time for both of us to face our fate.

Mr Tanaka started to show off some kung-fu stances and Ella pulled him back.

Ella: Easy now. Tanaka, you aren't even strong enough to lick a stamp.

Chris: It's true. Right now, our only hope is Sonic and Y/n.

Y/n finally showed up.

Y/n: I hope I didn't miss too much.

Chris: Y/n.

Back at the Thorndyke's residence.

Sonic came back with some flowers in his hand.

Sonic: Hey! Huh?

He saw the living room was empty.

Sonic: I forgot that everybody is gone but me.

He put the flowers in a vase.

Sonic: You don't see beautiful flowers like this at the seashore. The mountains are far superior.

Chuck: Sonic!

Sonic: Hmm?

Chuck: So, you're finally here, are you?

Sonic: Yeah.

Chuck grumbled and turned on the TV.

TV reporter: A gang of robot destroyers has been wrecking hotels and resorts all on the Emerald Coast. The situation is growing more dangerous by the hour. Authorities have issued evacuation orders.

Eggman appeared on the screen and started laughing.

Sonic: Oh.

Eggman: The owners of the Emerald Coast Resort didn't invite me to their opening, so I knocked it down and turned it into my own vacation destination. It's now Eggman's Scream Park.

Sonic heard laughing from behind him and turned to see Bokkun with a bomb.

Bokkun: I brought you a personal invitation. Your friends Chris and Y/n are already there. They're having a great time, especially Y/n. Stop by. We'll have a real blast.

Bokkun flew off and Sonic grabbed the bomb trying to find somewhere to throw it but it was too late as it exploded then Sonic shook the cinder off.

Sonic: Oh, well.

He ran out of there.

Back at the villa.

Amy was looking through a pair of binoculars.

Amy: Y/n was right, it is Eggman.

Cream: Where is Y/n anyway?

Tails was in the X Tornado.

Tails: He went on ahead and I'm going to join him.

Amy threw the binoculars at Tails and jumped in the X Tornado.

Tails: Amy, what're you doing?

Amy: Sonic's gonna show up to help, but if he doesn't, Chris'll need all the help he can get and I'll show that Y/n who the annoying one is.

Tails: Okay. Here we go.

The X Tornado took off and left Cream and Cheese.

Cream: I hope they make it back safely. Well, time to restart Spindash practice.

At the Resort.

Eggman: (laughing) Build faster. Don't use too many nails and bolts. Make sure you water down the cement. I want these rights to be the most dangerous in the universe.

Y/n was destroying some of the builder robots.

Y/n: Eggman's Scream Park? Once I'm done with it will be Robotnik's Destroyed Park.

Eggman: Hey, quit ruining all my robots hard work!

A ride with a few of the building robots got sliced in half and the one who did it was Sonic.

Sonic: Well, well.

Chris: Ah, Sonic!

Sonic: Hiya, Chris. Thought I'd drop by for a visit.

Y/n crossed his arms.

Y/n: Well, it's about time you did, slowpoke.

Sonic: Hey, that's my insult.

Eggman's pink octopus robot came out of the water.

Eggman: You fell right into my trap, Sonic. I know you can't swim, so I lured you to the sea. Get them, Octoron!

Octoron fired its tentacles at Sonic and Y/n who avoided them and when Sonic tried to kick Octoron one of its tentacles blocked Sonic's kick and restrained him.

Eggman: You won't get away.

Sonic: Oh, yeah? Just watch me.

Chris: Y/n, you've got to help Sonic!

Y/n: No, I'll help him out after I deal with Robotnik.

Y/n used Octoron as a stepping stool to jump towards Eggman.

Eggman: Ah!

Y/n threw a punch at Eggman who dodged it but Y/n was able to swing back with his right bracelet blade.

Eggman: Ahh!

Eggman flipped the Egg-carrier upside down and Y/n fell into the ocean and he saw Sonic being held underwater.

Eggman: I'm giving Sonic a choice. He can either forfeit the fight or-

Y/n jumped out of the water with Sonic in his arms.

Eggman: Sonic, how did you get out of Octoron tentacle?

Sonic: I did it with Y/n's help.

Y/n: My right bracelet blade is strong enough to slash through almost anything.

Octoron pulled its tentacle out and the tip was gone.

Y/n: And that's two you owe me, Sonic.

Sonic: Huh?

Amy came falling out of the sky and smashed Octoron on the head with her head.

Eggman: How could you?!

Amy: Keep your rotten robots away from my Sonic or your gonna be sorry.

Sonic: Thanks, Amy.

Amy: Sonic!

Amy ran to Sonic and hugged him really tight.

Sonic: Whoa, lighten up, Amy.

Eggman: You won this time, but I'm not through.

Y/n: How you deal with this bitch as a girlfriend will always be a mystery to me, Sonic.

Sonic: One, language. Two, girlfriend?

Y/n: Oh, so it seems you lied to yourself to help you cope with the fact that Sonic will never love you.

Amy: What?!

Sonic: Okay, calm down. What you did was crazy, Amy.

Amy: I know, but you make me do crazy things.

Sonic: Oh.

Tails: Everything okay down there?

Sonic: Yeah, Tails. Thank you both.

Y/n: You can thank me with an extra favor.

Sonic: Why would I do you a first favor.

Y/n: For me saving you during the E-90 attack.

Amy: Hey, Sonic.

Sonic: Huh?

Amy got out her shell bracelet.

Amy: This is a bracelet I made to protect you in the water.

Sonic: Oh.

Sonic stared at it for a moment.

Sonic: You made it for me?

Amy: If you wear it, it'll bring you good luck.

Y/n: Don't tell me you're actually thinking about taking it, Sonic.

Sonic: Well, what could be the harm if I do take it?

Y/n: This is why I'm fur more superior than either of you, you're mating rituals are disgusting.

Sonic: (blushing) Mating rituals?! This is just me accepting a gift from a friend!

Y/n: Yeah, it's starts with that, then you go out on a date or two, then one thing leads to another and you stick your-

Amy covered his mouth while she was blushing extremely hard.

Amy: (blushing) Please don't say it.

Suddenly, the ground started to shake and Amy dropped the bracelet.

Amy: Sonic's bracelet!

All the builder bots started to pile-up and they smashed Amy's bracelet.

Amy: I can't believe it!

Y/n: Yeah, Sonic will be free from you

Amy got extremely mad at that point.

Amy: That's it!

Amy tackled Y/n and the builder bots formed a giant serpent.

Eggman: I told you I wasn't through with you, Sonic, didn't I? My Quizzon have merged to form Serpenter, and it's ready to strike. Uh, what's going on over there?

They both saw Amy and Y/n fighting.

Sonic: Hey, what's going on?!

Y/n: Here's one of those favors, Sonic! Buzz off and let us fight!

Amy smashed her hammer down which Y/n blocked with his shield.

Amy: I'll make you pay for everything you said to me!

Y/n kicked Amy and she got sent back a bit.

Y/n: I'm gonna prove to everyone how much of a weakling you are.

Amy hit Y/n's arm and Y/n responded with an uppercut kick and got sent flying.

Y/n: That was a nice shot, but now you die, witch!

Amy came flying down with her hammer and surround by a pink aura while Y/n stabbed his right bracelet blade upward while surrounded by a royal blue aura but before they're attacks could connect Serpenter hit them with its tail and the two of them hit a wall.

Y/n/Amy: Ow.

Eggman: Over here! You're fight is with me.

Y/n took a deep breath.

Y/n: Rose, since Dr. Robotnik is being a major pain right now, so what do you say we temporarily put our differences aside and take him down so we can fight later?

Amy: I actually like the sound of that.

They got up a drew they're weapons.

Y/n: You'll pay for interfering in my fight, Robotnik!

Amy: Don't mess with me!

Amy smashed Serpenter's tail with her hammer and Y/n run up Serpenter and used his blades to make a huge slash.

Y/n: Amy, fire me at it.

Y/n got into a Spindash and Amy added more force by hitting him with here hammer and that destroyed Serpenter.

Eggman: Oh, no. Perhaps I better go.

Y/n: Not so fast.

Y/n threw Amy up in the air and she hit the Egg-carrier and it fell into the sea then Eggman surfaced and Amy fell towards Eggman while Y/n ran at him at full speed and stabbed Eggman in the torso with his blade while Amy smashed Eggman with her hammer and the two of them fell in the water.

Y/n: (Thinking: My arm hurts, I don't think I can swim out of this)

He smirked.

Y/n: (Thinking: So, this is what a near death experience is like?)

He finally blacked out.

20 minutes later.

Y/n opened his eyes and saw he was laying on a couch and he saw Chris sitting next to him.

Y/n: Christopher?

Chris: Oh, you're awake.

Y/n: What happened?

Chris: You passed out underwater and Sonic pulled you and Amy out.

Y/n: Oh, he did?

Y/n looked at his left arm and saw it was wrapped in bandages.

Chris: Yeah, you broke your arm during your fight with Amy.

Y/n: I see.

He got up and walked to the balcony and saw Amy was just getting up and Cream was next to her.

Cream: Amy, you're all right.

They looked at Y/n

Cream: You're okay too.

Amy: It seems I gave you a run for your money after all, Y/n.

Y/n: Look, since we worked together so well, Amy. How about, we set our differences aside during missions?

Amy: That sounds good.

Y/n: But outside of missions we can go back to hating each other.

Amy: Deal.

The two of them shook hands.

Y/n: Cream, where did go?

Cream: He went back home.

Amy: Oh.

Y/n: Alright, Cream. Time to get back to your training.

Cream: But you need to rest.

Y/n: Fine, but we will start your training again.

He walked back inside.

Amy: What does he mean by training?

Cream: He's teaching me how to Spindash.

Meanwhile.

Sonic was sitting on a rock and he sneezed.

Sonic: Sonic, ya gotta stay out of the water.

He got up and he was wearing Amy's bracelet.
