Narrator: Last time on "Sonic X," Dr. Eggman sent a strange new robot named Lucky to search for the last Chaos Emerald. Meanwhile, Knuckles decided that the only way to get back was to convince the others to join up with Dr. Eggman, get all seven emeralds together and create Chaos Control. Eggman pretended to agree in the plan and fooled Knuckles and Chris into handling over all of their Chaos Emeralds, which Y/n actually had the light blue one and the one they had was a fake, and then Eggman escape with Chris held hostage. Can Sonic make it in time to get back the Chaos Emeralds and save their friend? Stay tuned.

At Station Square.

Helen, Danny and Francis were in town with Helen playing with a hand puppet of that Purple Monster from Cream's show.

Helen: (Through puppet: Good morning, children. Come on, it's time to play.)

Francis: Look everybody. It's my favorite TV star.

The three of them laughed and that's when the shadow of the Egg Fort II.

Francis: It's him!

Danny: Dr. Eggman.

Helen: He's back again.

The ship flew off on its way.

Danny: What's he up to?

Francis: Whatever it is, it's not good.

Sonic and Y/n ran by them.

Francis: That was Sonic and Y/n.

They were still running after Eggman.

Y/n: You know, I think I saw Danny look down at Helen's blown up skirt when we ran by there.

Sonic: You can worry about punishments later, right now we need to save Chris!

Inside the Egg Fort II.

Decoe: Dr. Eggman, Sonic and Y/n are following us.

Decoe and Bocoe were strapping Chris to the wall with metal straps.

Chris: Sonic, Y/n, hurry!

Bocoe: They are gaining on us, we have to do something.

Eggman: Who cares about them? Especially when the 7th Chaos Emerald is waiting for me.

At the white house.

The one of President's aides were going over where Eggman was heading.

Aide: Eggman's ship is making its way towards Station Square, sir.

President: What measures are being taken? A total evacuation?

Woman: Yes, Mr. President. While we're not sure exactly where Eggman is headed, we have begun evacuation of the entire southern region. Everything is under control.

President: I've been dreading something like this. But now that the time has come, I just hope we're ready for him.

Man: (On the phone) Thank you.

The man hung up and looked at the President.

Man: Mr. President, sir. We've just received word from the field. The Beetles are being put into place.

President: Well, it won't be long now. We'll all have to wait and see. There's nothing more any of us can do. Nothing but hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

With the others.

Tails, Chuck, Amy, Cream and Cheese were flying in the X Tornado.

Chuck: Just keep her steady. He can't be far. Just give it a bit more and let's go get 'em, Tails!

With Topaz and Rouge.

They were flying in helicopters after Eggman and Rouge got something from Topaz.

Rouge: Topaz, it's gorgeous.

Topaz: It's okay.

Rouge: I- I don't know what to say.

Topaz: If you don't like it, I can take it back, Rouge. I don't really know anything about jewelry, so I asked a sales clerk and she helped me pick it out.

Rouge: It's dreamy.

Topaz: It's nice.

Rouge looked at Topaz.

Rouge: Thanks, Topaz.

Topaz: You deserve it. I just wanted to thank you for your help.

Little did they know, Knuckles was hanging under one of these helicopters.

Knuckles: (Thinking: I really messed up. How could I have trusted Eggman? I'm so gonna get it from Y/n after this.)

Back at Station Square.

Eggman finally made it to the dump where he saw Lucky with the white Chaos Emerald.

Eggman: Ah, there's my little good luck charm! I just knew he'd bring back the Chaos Emerald.

Bocoe: I am surprised he did not drop it.

Decoe: He sure is a klutz, isn't he?

Eggman: He is a bit clumsy. I better grab that emerald!

A hand shot out of the Egg Fort II.

Eggman: Lucky, come to daddy.

Before the hand could grab Lucky Sonic ran straight through it and Y/n came shortly after.

Sonic: Sorry, Pops, you gotta be faster than that.

Y/n: Now, give us back Chris and the emeralds.

Eggman: (groan) Why do those heinous hedgehogs always have to ruin everything?

Decoe: That is just our luck- bad.

Lucky tumbled down a trash mountain and landed on a mattress.

Eggman: Huh? But- but my- my emerald!

Sonic: Ha-ha. Don't worry. We'll keep it safe and sound for you. Won't we, Y/n?

Y/n: We certainly will.

Chris: All right!

Eggman: Grr! Don't even think about it, Sonic and Y/n! Grr, that Chaos Emerald is mine! Do you hear me? Mine!

Y/n: Listen, Lucky, why don't you give that emerald to us and we won't make you a part of this junkyard.

Bocoe: He would not dare!

Decoe: We have to do something, Doctor.

Suddenly, a giant robot beetle got in between the hedgehogs and Lucky before Lucky could give the emerald to them.

Sonic: Too bad. You just missed us. Nice try though, Doc.

Eggman looked at Decoe.

Eggman: Was it your idea to send those robots?

Decoe: I do not get ideas, Doctor.

Eggman: Good boy!

More robot Beetles start to pull in.

Bocoe: Where are they coming from, Doctor?

Y/n: It seems the President's new robots are finally finished.

A man started to speak from the radio.

Man on radio: Sonic, this is an official government operation. Please stand aside. I repeat, stand aside. We are launching an attack. Y/n, if you wish to help you may do so.

Sonic: Attack?

Y/n: Normally I would help, but our friend, Chris, is trapped inside there!

The Beetles went on ahead and one fired a laser at Eggman.

Eggman: Those fools! How dare they attack me!

Sonic ran in front of them.

Sonic: You gotta listen! My friend, Chris, is-

They fired before he could finish and the lasers headed for the Egg Fort II but they hit some kind of force field.

Eggman: My, my, that was a close one.

Bocoe: It is a good thing we put the Egg Shield up in time.

Decoe: Next time, we may not be so lucky.

Eggman: Quiet! Don't you mention that traitor again, you hear? Now, let me see. How can I get my Chaos Emerald back?

Bocoe: Doctor, look at this!

Eggman: At what?

Bocoe: This is the inside of their robot.

He showed Eggman the inside of a beetle.

Decoe: It is just like yours, Doctor.

Eggman: How dare those underhanded hoodlums steal my ingenious robot designs to use in that revolting inferior eyesore hunk-of-junk monstrosity! I'll show that gang of sneak thieves what happens when they cross Dr. Eggman.

Eggman started to ready all the weapons on the Egg Fort II.

Bocoe: Please, Doctor, do not be rash. Lucky is inside there.

Eggman: Don't worry about him. With his dumb luck, he'll come out without a scratch.

Decoe: I would not count on it.

Eggman: Fire!

He started to fire all his weapons and Sonic was running desperately running to get away.

Sonic: Hey! Cool it, Eggman, somebody might get hurt!

Eggman: That was the idea! Launch Egg Beam Cannonball!

Y/n displayed his bracelets, but now they both had Chaos Emerald shaped holes in the center of them.

Y/n: Sonic, get behind me!

Sonic ran behind Y/n as he quickly put the light blue Chaos Emerald in his shield bracelet and that's when Eggman's Egg Beam Cannonball struck and created a huge explosion which caused Y/n to activate his shield.

Eggman: Ha-ha! Looks like that one did the trick!

Bocoe: One of these days you are going to blow up the whole planet!

Eggman: It's a distinct possibility, Bocoe, but I'd rather do that than have Sonic and Y/n get those emeralds from me.

Decoe: Speaking of Y/n, did you notice that his bracelets looked a little different?

Eggman: I honestly didn't pay attention.

They than heard Lucky's beeping.

Decoe: That voice, it was Lucky!

Eggman: Not that backward bumbling bad-luck charm again!

They looked at the screens and saw...

Decoe: The enemy aircraft- and not a single scratch.

Bocoe: The Doctor really knows how to build a good ship, unfortunately.

Eggman: I wonder if it's possible to be too much of a genius for your own good.

Decoe: I wonder what happened to-

Sonic and Y/n were being protected by Y/n's shield which was now had some type of energy surrounding it and gave it a wider blocking range and the emerald was hidden.

Chris: It's Sonic and Y/n!

Decoe: That answered my first question and gave me another. What is that?

Y/n: During our search for the Chaos Emeralds, I used my free time to make a few upgrades to my bracelets.

They heard Lucky beeping.

Eggman: There's no time to waste. We have to retrieve our boy Lucky and get that 7th Chaos Emerald before Sonic does!

Bocoe/Decoe: Yes, Doctor!

The Egg Fort II was on the move again.

Sonic: (Thinking: Uh-oh. Eggman's on a mission to get that Chaos Emerald. Not if I can help it.)

Sonic: Come on, Y/n.

Y/n: Right.

They both started to run after Eggman who was still going for Lucky.

Eggman: Oh, dear, I didn't know Lucky could fly so high.

Bocoe: How will we ever catch him?

Decoe: What if he drops the emerald, Doctor?

Chris: That emerald doesn't belong to you anyway!

Decoe: Speak only when spoken to!

Sonic and Y/n were still running and they both saw the flying Beetle robots.

Sonic: Nows our chance, Y/n.

Y/n: Let's roll!

They both started to use the Beetles as stepping stones to get closer to the Egg Fort II.

Bocoe: Wow. That was quite a leap.

Eggman grunted and the hedgehogs made on final leap towards Lucky.

Chris: Y/n and Sonic!

Decoe: We are in trouble!

Eggman: Ah! What if they get that Chaos Emerald away from Lucky?

Bocoe: That would be very unlucky!

Sonic was finally able to catch Lucky.

Sonic: Gotcha.

Lucky began to beep in a panicked way.

Sonic: Just relax. We're your friends, little guy. We're not gonna hurt you.

Y/n: Don't put words in my mouth, Sonic.

Sonic: Well, that Chaos Emerald you found is really important to me and my friends, so we're gonna take it off your hands.

Eggman: What's he doing? Why isn't he flying away?

Lucky started to fly with Sonic and Y/n holding on to him.

Sonic: Hey, this is kind of fun. All right.

Y/n: It's no ride in the X Tornado, but it's something.

Bocoe: There goes your lucky robot, Doctor.

Decoe: He may be lucky, but he is not very loyal.

Eggman: Be quiet! He dares to betray me, does he? I'll show that traitorous tin can too mess with me.

Bocoe: Doctor, are you thinking what I think you are thinking?

Decoe: I think that is what he is thinking.

Eggman: Good thinking. For the first time, I, the great Dr. Eggman will transform the Egg Fort II into the greatest robot ever created. I was saving it for a special occasion, but why put it off any longer? After all, I'm feeling lucky. Get ready. Begin Egg Fort II transformation!

The Egg Fort II started to disable.

Eggman: Merge mode number one. Merge mode number two. Merge mode number three.

The Egg Fort II turned into a giant robot and Eggman laughed maniacally.

Eggman: Say hello to my ultimate robot creation, the Eggsterminator.

The Eggsterminator splashed into the water, standing tall and the water splashed Sonic and Y/n.

Sonic: My, my... Bet you think you're pretty impressive, don't you? You may be big and strong, but I bet you don't move as fast as we do.

Y/n quickly switched the light blue Chaos Emerald in his strong blade bracelet and the blade was able to extend longer.

Y/n: You get the top, I'll get the bottom.

Sonic started to run up the Eggsterminator.

Sonic: He-he. Come on, Eggman! What are you waiting for?

Y/n was making small cuts on the Eggsterminator's legs.

Y/n: This metal is pretty tough to cut through.

Eggman: Oh, dear, they certainly are impatient, isn't he? But I say, "why rush into things?"

Eggman had the five Chaos Emerald and the unknown fake one inside some kind of table.

Chris: The six Chaos Emeralds!

Eggman: Don't worry, I'm keeping them safe and sound for future use. In the mean time, I'll transfer a bit of energy from each emerald into the Eggsterminator so it can grow stronger.

When the Eggsterminator got energy from two emeralds it's monitor was able to see Sonic and its metal got even stronger.

Eggman: Guess the Eggsterminator's got them on the run, eh, kid?

Chris: (Thinking: He's using the Chaos Emeralds to beat Sonic and Y/n, and it's all my fault.)

The Eggsterminator finally got the power of all six emeralds.

Chris: Ah, I'm sorry!

Sonic charged at the Eggsterminator, but it completely vanished and when it came back it punched Sonic through two buildings and straight into acwall.

Chris: Sonic!

Eggman: That thing packs quite a punch.

Sonic: Mmm. Yeah, he's got a good right hook.

Y/n: (Thinking: Looks like I'll have to focus on defense for now.)

Y/n switched the emerald again and put his shield up before the Eggsterminator kicked him. However, all it did was reduce the kicks power to the point where Y/n just got sent through a single building and landed on his feet.

Eggman: Talk about getting a real kick out of it.

Y/n: (Thinking: Even with my strengthen defenses, he was still able to sent me through a building.)

Eggman: Sonic and Y/n had better surrender. With six Chaos Emeralds to power him, my boy is unbeatable.

Chris: Please, Dr. Eggman, let Sonic and Y/n go free!

Eggman: I'm afraid I can't do that just yet, so sorry. Ahh.

The Eggsterminator was going fast and Sonic was finally able to get out of the wall but Eggsterminator smashed him to the ground instantly and that's when the X Tornado finally showed up.

Tails: We're coming, Sonic!

Amy: Quick, Tails, do something!

Tails: The X Tornado can't do much of anything now, not without a Chaos Emerald.

Amy: Oh, why did that jerk Y/n have to take our last emerald? All right. I guess I'll have to take care of that hunk of junk myself.

Tails: Hold on!

Tails got out of the way of some Beetles that had their sights set on the Eggsterminator, but it vanished again and easily destroyed all of them.

Sonic: The Beetles, they've been wiped out.

Y/n: But they gave me some time to do this.

Y/n had his long blade and attempted to cut off the Eggsterminator's right arm, but he just made a long scratch from its right shoulder down to its back.

Y/n: Damn, I was only able to scratch it.

Bocoe: Wow. He really is powerful, isn't he?

Decoe: Good thing he is on our side.

Eggman: Even I'm impressed.

Sonic: Eggman!

Sonic was sluggishly walking towards the Eggsterminator.

Sonic: Listen up. We're coming for Chris, and you better not try to stop us.

Sonic fell to his knees and Y/n went over to him and helped him up.

Y/n: Yeah, we're gonna get Chris back even if I have to spend all day cutting this thing apart to get him.

Bocoe: How could Sonic survive a pounding like that?

Decoe: I don't get it. He ought to be egg-sterminated by now.

Eggman: So he should. That hedgehog is much more resilient than I thought.

Sonic: I'm coming, Chris!

Y/n: Here, let me help you.

Sonic held on to Y/n to walk better.

Eggman: Him and Y/n sure are glutton for punishment!

The inside of the Eggsterminator started to shake.

Eggman: What's going on?

The Eggsterminator began to glow really shiny colors.

Eggman: Eggsterminator, quit wasting power, will you? We must conserve between battles.

The Eggsterminator vanished again and both Y/n and Sonic were able to avoid its stomp, but got punched into the ground by the punched of a now golden Eggsterminator and while it was beating on the two hedgehogs, a helicopter with Rouge and Topaz in it was flying over the Eggsterminator.

Topaz: Can't you move in a bit closer?

Rouge: Yeah, Y/n needs us.

Pilot: No way, it's too dangerous.

Rouge: He must be using the emeralds to power that thing.

Knuckles was still hanging on to the helicopter.

Knuckles: (Thinking: Think, Knuckles, think.)

Y/n was able to block the Eggsterminator's last strike and run out of there but the Eggsterminator picked up a badly beaten up Sonic for Chris who was also able to see a badly beaten up Y/n with a broken left arm.

Chris: (crying) Sonic! Y/n!

Eggman and his robots gasped and that's when the fake light blue Chaos Emerald broke.

Bocoe: Ah! The power is so overwhelming that it's beginning to brake the emeralds.

Eggman: All right, Eggsterminator, enough fooling around. Drop him already!

Decoe: Good idea.

Eggsterminator did drop Sonic.

Y/n: Sonic!

Y/n ran and caught Sonic but he saw Eggsterminator was about to kick them.

Y/n: Oh no.

Y/n used all his strength to use his shield and blocked the kick but again just diminished the damage and still got kicked into the ocean. It was at that moment Chris started to remember some of the good times he had with Sonic and Y/n.

Chris: No!

Chris then began to use all his strength to get free and he went to take the remaining Chaos Emeralds getting burned in the process.

Eggman: My emeralds!

After Chris got the emeralds out he tumbled over and hit the window.

Chris: They're mine, mine. I won't- (teary-eyed) I won't let you take them away from me. Ever again. Ever.

Eggman: That mealymouthed little crybaby shouldn't be so reckless. After all, those emeralds are powering the Eggsterminator. And without them, this thing would be plummeting into the sea.

Decoe: It is interesting, Doctor.

Eggman: As a matter of fact, we should be plummeting any moment now.

Decoe: I am sorry, Doctor. But did you just say "plummeting"?

Eggman: Don't just stand there!

Decoe: Yes, Doctor.

Knuckles smashed through the window and got into the Eggsterminator.

Knuckles: Where is Chris? I'm taking him with me.

Eggman: Well, if it isn't our good friend, Knuckles. How nice of you to drop in on us for a visit.

Knuckles hit the ground with his fist.

Decoe: I think he's upset.

Knuckles: He's coming with me, and that's that. Ha. I said, where is he? What did you do with Chris?

Rouge flew Chris out of there without anyone noticing.

Rouge: (Thinking: Enough emeralds for a whole necklace and maybe some matching earrings.)

Chris: Sonic. Y/n. Let me go.

Rouge: No way. Not after all the trouble I went through.

Chris: Sonic! Y/n!

He started to squirm and that made Rouge drop him and the emeralds.

Rouge: Oh no. He made me drop my Chaos Emeralds. Ah.

Rouge was able to catch Chris but the Chaos Emeralds fell into the ocean.

Rouge: Oh, well, there goes my new jewelry. You're lucky I like Y/n, kid.

Suddenly, the Eggsterminator grabbed Rouge.

Eggman: The Eggsterminator is malfunctioning, and it's all because of that thieving brat.

Decoe: That's right.

Knuckles: Where's Chris?

Rouge: Ah, you're awfully fresh.

It started to squeeze her tighter.

In the water.

Y/n: (Thinking: My arm is too messed up to swim us both out of here and Sonic's can't even swim. What should we do.)

He saw the Chaos Emeralds going to them.

Y/n: (Thinking: The Chaos Emeralds! Emeralds, if you can hear my thoughts. Please, give me and Sonic the power to save our friend. I beg you.)

The X Tornado flew into action.

Tails: We're comin', Chris!

They saw the part of the ocean where Sonic, Y/n and the Chaos Emeralds fell in started to glow.

Tails: Ahh.

Chuck: Look! Could it be?

Cream: Amy, I think it's Sonic and Y/n.

Cheese: Chao.

Amy: It might be, but where's that glow coming from?

Something smashed the hand of the Eggsterminator that was holding Chris and Rouge.

Decoe: Doctor, something is happening. The Eggsterminator is losing it's grip.

Bocoe: This is not good. What do we do now, Doctor?

Eggman: We do nothing. Right at this very moment, those seven Chaos Emeralds are mingling together way down in the bottom of the sea. The great moment has finally come.

Decoe: Are you saying what I think you are saying?

Bocoe: Yes, I think that is what he is saying.

Eggman: Let Chaos Control begin.

Sonic and Y/n were floating outside of the Eggsterminator, but Sonic was gold while Y/n was silver and both of their quills were sticking. The Eggsterminator was about to smash them with its remaining arm but Sonic easily blocked it.

Sonic: Well, Knuckles, your wish came true, but me and Y/n got some unfinished business.

Y/n punched the Eggsterminator's arm and that completely destroyed it.

Y/n: We're gonna get Chris back one way or another.

Sonic/Y/n: Take this, Eggman/Robotnik.

Y/n and Sonic started to smash up the Eggsterminator and it created a huge explosion.

Topaz: Oh no! I think we're in Chaos Control.

Tails: It's Chaos Control, Chuck, you'll be sent back with us.

Chuck: Don't worry, it will be my pleasure!

Danny and the others saw it from the distance.

Danny: Hey, look! Where's that light coming from?

Helen: Does this mean... they're going home?

Francis: Oh no!

Chris was in some kind of void with Sonic and Y/n.

Sonic: Can you hear me, pal?

Y/n: Chris, wake up.

Chris opened his eyes and saw Sonic and Y/n with him.

Sonic: We're finally going home... thanks to you, Chris.

Y/n: Yeah, even though you took the emeralds without our consent... you did the right thing in the end.

Chris: Sonic, Y/n, take me with you, please. I don't want to stay here, not without either of you.

Sonic and Y/n put their hands on Chris and they healed his burns.

Chris: Ahh! Sonic! Y/n!

He hugged the both of them and they hugged back.

Y/n: I'm sorry, Chris, but we can't take you with us.

Sonic: It's gonna be okay. I promise.

Chris: Sonic, Y/n, please don't leave. You're both the best friends I've ever had. I don't want you to go away! (sobbing) I'll miss you both so much. Please don't go. Please.

Y/n: I am truly sorry, Chris. I don't want to leave you either, but it's just the way it has to be.

They both disappeared leaving Chris alone crying.

Chris: You can't go!

The void started to disappear and the X Tornado was now flying over a foggy mountain that appeared in front of the harbor they were fighting at. Knuckles was standing on a hill and was looking at an island that was floating over the bigger mountain island. Chris was on the mountain island and from the fog came Sonic who was back to normal.

Sonic: Hey, long time no see.

Elsewhere.

Y/n was also back to normal and unconscious, when he opened his eyes he saw Cream and Cheese were with him.

Cream: Y/n, are you okay?

Cheese: Chao, chao.

Y/n: I'm fine. Are we back home?

Cream: No, Tails said that instead of us going home, a part of our home was transported here. The others went to go looking for Sonic while me and Cheese stayed with you. Isn't that right, Cheese?

Cheese: Chao.

Y/n: I think it was me.

Cream: What?

Y/n: I didn't want to go home, and that must have messed with the time warp.

Cream: But why didn't you want to go back?

Y/n: Because, a part of me was scared of losing you.

Cream was surprised by this..

Y/n: Your mother would've took one look at me and my record and she would have never let me see you again. All you cared about was being reunited with your mother and you can't even have that anymore because of my selfish behavior. I don't know why you even wanted anything to do with me.

Cream: It's because... It's because I love you and even though I don't have my mom back, I have you. My strong, smart, and cool big brother.

Y/n was taken a back by this and he was hugged by Cream and Cheese.

Cream: So please, don't blame yourself for this.

Cheese: Chao, chao, chao.

Y/n couldn't take it anymore, he broke down into tears and hugged the both of them.

Y/n: Thank you.
