The gang along with Chuck were on a cruise ship.

Chris: (Narrating: We were all pretty worn out from searching for the Chaos Emeralds and battling Dr. Eggman. I had a long vacation from school coming up, so...)

Small Flashback.

Chris's Dad: I know just what you need. Why not take your grandpa and your friends on a cruise. I'm not using the yacht right now. You can take in some sun and maybe get a look at the glaciers.

Flashback end.

Chris was relaxing in a beach chair.

Chris: (Narrating: So that's just what we did. Nothing but relaxation and fun in the sun. Y/n was a little hesitant at first, but we eventually convinced him. Well, more specifically Cream. We'll get to the glaciers in about four days)

Sonic: Four days?

Tails: You mean, we're only halfway there?

Y/n: If I ran there by myself, I'd already be there waiting for you guys.

Cream: These yachts sure do go slow, don't they?

Sonic: Give me a break, will ya?!

He started to kneel down to Chris.

Sonic: Come on, pal, I don't take to water. Can't you see I'm getting seasick here?

Chris laughed a little.

Sonic: Please I beg you! I'm going crazy!

He started to run around.

Sonic: Get me off of this thing!

Later that night.

Chuck was sitting on a couch with his head back.

Chuck: There, I feel much better now.

Chris: Did you take those seasick pills the doctor gave you?

Chuck: I sure did, my boy. And now that old grandpa is feeling better, we're gonna have a lot more fun.

Everyone: Yeah.

Y/n: (quietly) Right.

Chuck: You bet.

Chuck laughed really loud and fell asleep.

Amy: Grandpa sure is enjoying himself.

Y/n: That's because when he said he took pills, he actually drunk a special drink called alcohol.

Cream: What is that?

Y/n: I'll explain it to you when your teenage years kick in.

Tails: Hey, Chris, I know we're suppose to be relaxing and all, but what's there to do on this ship?

Chris: There's lots of stuff to do. How about taking a swim?

Amy: Tails is just being rude. Don't pay any attention to him, Chris.

Y/n: Just like we shouldn't pay any attention to you, Rose.

Amy: Oh, don't go acting tough anymore seeing that you got convinced to come here by a rabbit's cute charm.

Y/n: Well, that's not exactly how I remember it.

Flashback.

Cream: Y/n, will you please come with us?

Y/n: No.

Cream: Please?

Y/n: No.

Cream: Please?

Y/n: No. And besides, I-

He looked at Cream looking at him with baby doll eyes.

Y/n: I- I need to make sure it's okay with the President.

Cream: Yay!

End Flashback.

Y/n: Whatever. You liked it when I choked you.

Amy: What was that?

Y/n: Nothing.

Sonic ran by them.

Y/n: Is that Faker still scared of being on this damn boat?

Chris: I think he feels trapped. I guess I'd go crazy too if I were him.

Sonic ran by them again.

Cream: Here he comes again

He ran by again.

Tails: I've seen Sonic go stir crazy before, but I've never seen anything as bad as this.

Y/n: Shall I brake his legs so he can't ran anymore?

Amy: No need. It's time for a meeting.

Amy got in Sonic's run path and stopped him.

Amy: Halt. Let's have a little talk, Sonic.

Sonic: What about?

Amy: About you?

Sonic: About me?

Amy: And about the way you're acting- I've never seen such immature behavior. We're on this ship for ten more days and ten more nights. Get used to it. Be brave. And just remember, bravery is not the absence of fear, but the facing of it. Nobody wants to see their hero carrying on like a big cry-baby. They want him to meet every challenge head-on. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but try to be a little more like Y/n, he hasn't complained once. Remember that, Sonic.

Tails: Think Amy's really getting through to him, Chris.

Chris nodded

Cream: Did you hear that, Y/n? Amy likes something about you.

Y/n: Good for her.

Sonic got up on his feet.

Amy: Now, go forth, hero, and keep your head held high.

Sonic was walking until he curled up into a ball.

Amy: He collapsed. I was too overwhelming.

Tails: We got to do something. I think he's sick.

Chris: Okay, I'll call Dad.

Y/n: And while he does that, I'll get Sonic to bed.

A helicopter was flying towards the boat.

Sonic: Well, I'm off! It's been a real blast, but I gotta split. See ya!

Amy: Hey! He isn't sick! He's a fake.

Y/n: And you've only just now realized it.

Amy: I didn't mean a fake version of you! You're the fake.

Y/n: And you're just an annoying yandrea, but yet, you're still here.

Amy gave Y/n a glare and he just shrugged.

Chris: It's okay. After all, why make Sonic stay on the boat if he doesn't want to?

Sonic: Enjoy your vacay, kids. Catch you on the flip side, huh?

A bunch of elderly people came out of the helicopter.

Old lady: Well, what have we here? Isn't this something?

All the old people started to surround Sonic.

Tails: What's going on?

Mr. Tanaka walked behind them and bowed his head.

Mr. Tanaka: Good morning. Nice day.

Chris: Tanaka, what are you doing here? Who are all these people?

Y/n: And are they going to beat the crap out of Sonic?

Tanaka: No. These people are joining us from the Silver Star retirement home. It is Mr. Thorndyke's hope that you and your friends will learn from them. They will be your coaches, you see.

Chris: Coaches?

Amy: But, Mr. Tanaka, what will they coach us on?

Tanaka: On how to relax. You see, they have all worked hard for many years, and now the time has come for them to relax. They will teach you how to, as well.

Chris: No, thanks, Mr. Tanaka. I just want the helicopter to take Sonic home.

Mr. Tanaka: He will remain here. Even a great warrior needs his rest. Constant battles not only exhaust the body, but also the mind. The warrior must relax and be rejuvenated, so that when next he goes to battle, he is mightier than before! Hi-ya!

He got back into the helicopter and it whirld away.

Sonic: Hey! Where are you going?! What about me?!

But the helicopter was already gone.

Sonic: No, wait! Come back!

Chris: (Narrating: And so, from that afternoon on, our new friends taught us all how to relax.)

Tails was with an elderly woman named Julia watching clouds.

Julia: Just look at that, Tails. Isn't it wonderful? Sometimes life goes by so fast that we never take the time to appreciate the simple things, like a blue sky fluffy white clouds.

Cream and Cheese were somewhere else talking to a different old lady.

Old lady: I understand you and your friends are from another planet. My, it's so fascinating.

Cream: Yeah, we've only been here for a while, but we like it. Everyone's been so nice to us since we got here.

Old lady: I'm glad, how lovely. So, you come from another planet, do you?

Cream: Yes.

Chris: (Narrating: And so the lady asked Cream the same question over and over.)

Y/n was playing chess with an old man named Jerry.

Y/n: This chess game is really interesting, Jerry.

Jerry: Yeah, and you're actually pretty good at it. I'm surprised you were able to learn how to play in just five minutes.

Y/n: I always was a fast learner.

Jerry moved his King to the left and that allowed Y/n to take it with his Queen.

Y/n: Checkmate.

Jerry: Damn. Let's go again.

Y/n: Sure.

Sonic ran by them and he ran off the boat.

Jerry: What's your friend over there doing?

Y/n: He doesn't like being on boats.

Amy was also with an elderly man.

Amy: That Sonic can't relax for one second. Oh, what's the use? I'll find somebody else to play shuffleboard with.

The old man laughed.

Old man: Something tells me you got a thing for that little Sonic fellow.

Amy: What makes you say that, mister.

Old man: (laughs) I can tell just by looking at you.

Amy: Is it that easy to see?

Old man: Why, sure. It's obvious. Then, again, Sonic probably has that effect on all the girls.

Amy got in his face.

Amy: What girls are you talking about?

Y/n pulled Amy away.

Y/n: Now who's being rude? I'm sorry, sir. She's doesn't have an off button.

Old man: It is quite alright.

Later.

Chris: (Narrating: As time went by, we learned more and more about relaxing and enjoying life from our new friends. Soon everyone was having a good time. Everyone except Sonic, who still hadn't gotten used to the idea, so he started hatching an escape plan. And this is what happened.)

Sonic ran to Tails and asked if he was worried about the X Tornado.

Tails: Why would I be worried about the X Tornado?

Sonic: You see? We've been on this boat for a couple of days, right?

Tails: Uh-huh.

Sonic: Well, Tails, did you ever think that, just maybe, machines can get lonely? I bet the X Tornado's been awful lonesome since you went away.

Tails: Oh, no! I never even thought of that! I feel so guilty. How could I abandon you like that? Poor little X Tornado.

Sonic: I got him.

Sonic than ran to Y/n.

Sonic: Hey, Y/n, where'd your chess partner go?

Y/n: Jerry went to go get us drinks. Now, what do you want?

Sonic: Well, I think, and I might have just been seeing things. But I think I saw Cream in the water.

Y/n looked down and a shadow covered his eyes when Jerry came back with drinks.

Jerry: I got the drinks.

Y/n didn't say anything.

Jerry: Y/n? Are you oka-

Y/n smashed both both the table and the chess board.

Y/n: Don't worry, Cream! I'm coming!!!

He ran over to the water and jumped into it.

Jerry: What did you say to him?

Later.

Sonic had Amy pinned to a wall.

Amy: Do you really mean that, Sonic?

Sonic: Well, sure I mean it, Amy. I think you're just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. The way you swing that little hammer of yours around, my heart beats a million times a minute. I know, you could never care for somebody like me. I guess that's just the way it has to be. Perhaps I could go on, if you would only swing that hammer once more.

Amy got out her hammer.

Amy: You want it, you got it!

Amy started swinging her hammer at the air and Sonic later went to Chris and Chuck.

Chris: Amy's gone berserk!

Chuck: And Y/n jumped off of the yacht?!

Sonic: Uh-huh. This boat's gonna drive everybody bananas sooner or later.

Chris: What do you think, Grandpa? Maybe we should ask the captain if we can turn the ship around.

Chuck: I don't know. I have a feeling something fishy's going on.

Just than, Amy, Cream and Cheese walked in.

Cream: Did he really, truly say that, Amy?

Amy: It's the truth, Cream! He said his little heart beat faster every time I swung my hammer. He's so dreamy.

Cream: Wow, that's so sweet.

Cheese: Chao!

Amy: I have a feeling one day soon, Sonic's gonna ask me to be his girl.

Cream: Really?

Cheese: Chao!

Y/n rushed in the room all wet.

Y/n: Amy!

He ran to Amy.

Amy: Y/n? Why are you all wet?

Y/n: No time to think about that! We need to go out to sea and find Cream before it's too late!

Amy: Uh, Y/n.

Y/n: If something like that happens, I'll just go insane and-

Amy: Y/n!

Y/n: What?!

Amy pointed to her side and saw Cream.

Y/n: Cream! You're back on the boat?!

Cream: I was never off the boat.

Y/n: But Sonic said you fell off and- Sonic.

Sonic quickly ran out of there.

Y/n: You're dead!

Y/n ran after Sonic.

Later.

Y/n, Chris and Tails were standing on the bow of the ship.

Chris: Hey, look, Tails!

Tails: An iceberg! We're near the glaciers.

Y/n: Good thing I dried up before I came out here.

Chuck put a coat on Chris.

Chuck: Put this on. It's a bit chilly out here.

Y/n: Yeah, why do you think I always wear a scarf?

Chris: Hey, thanks, Grandpa. Guess you and Amy are still pretty upset with Sonic, huh, Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah, me and Jerry already whipped his ass. Now, it's Amy's turn.

Chuck: Yes, well, it wasn't very nice of him to lie to you two like that.

Y/n: Especially when he lied about Cream possibly drowning.

Tails: But Amy can't stay mad forever.

Amy: Sonic, come on, you can't stay up there all day. Don't you want to see all the wonderful things I can do with this hammer?

Sonic was hanging on to the top of a pole.

Amy: It's pretty amazing, Sonic, but you've gotta see it up close, got it?

Sonic: Uh, no, thanks. I'll just stay up here, catch some rays. Maybe another time.

Amy: All right, that's it!

Amy started attacking the pole.

Amy: You come down off that pole this instant!

Cream: Oh, I don't like it when Amy gets mad.

Chuck: I get the feeling we ought to stay out of this.

Chris: I agree.

All four of them saw a whale.

Chris: Look at that!

Chuck: Wow!

Tails: It's a whale.

Tails saw something else come come out of the water.

Tails: Another one.

Chris: Wow, look how big it is.

As they surfaced more it was three small flying ships.

Chuck: That's not a whale.

Chris: I guess not.

Tails: If not, what is it?

Eggman was in the big ship.

Eggman: Thought you could take a pleasure cruise without me, eh? Well, think again!

Yellow robot: Let's go get them.

Silver robot: We can beat that overgrown tugboat any day.

Sonic was beaten with Amy sitting on him.

Sonic: Ha-ha. I was wondering how long it would take before you bozos showed up. You two boys starting to rust yet?

Silver robot: We are incapable of corrosion.

Yellow robot: You, on the other hand, are a rotten little hedgehog.

Eggman: Stop all this yammering at once! You two tin-heads are forgetting who's in charge here! I hope you've enjoyed yourselves, Sonic and Y/n, because you're happy little holiday's about to end.

Sonic: Oh, yeah, I'd say the fun's about to start!

Y/n: I hope you didn't spend too much time making those ships, because they're going down!

Eggman: Don't be so sure, warthogs.

Suddenly, the yacht stopped.

Chris: Hey, why did he stop the ship?

Chuck: What's going on here?

Captain: It's the glacier, Mr. Thorndyke. Sure is a beauty, isn't it, sir? We can stay here as long as you like.

Chris: Are you crazy?! This is no time to look at the glacier!

Sonic and Y/n jumped off the boat and faced Eggman's three ships.

Sonic: Okay, if you want a fight, you've got a fight. Bring it on, Egghead.

Eggman: All in good time, my friend. First let's mix things up a bit, shall we? Perhaps you seafaring simpletons would like to see what my new Eggfort II can do! Get ready to be blown away. All right, Egg fort II, combine! One...

Yellow robot: Two...

Silver robot: Three.

All three of the ships combined into one.

All three of them: Egg fort II complete!

Eggman laughed.

Eggman: Impressive, eh?

His phone rang.

Eggman: Hello? No I'm not going to change names.

Another phone rang.

Eggman: How dare you say my Egg fort II isn't all that!

He grumbled and hung up.

Eggman: I'm getting an unlisted number.

Sonic was running.

Sonic: Come on, try and catch me! What are you waiting for?

Eggman: Oh, Sonic?

Sonic: Yeah, what?

Eggman: You're going nowhere fast.

Sonic realized that the ice wasn't letting him go anywhere.

Sonic: Huh? Oh, no!

A laser hit the ice Sonic was on.

Chris: Ah! Watch out!

Eggman kept shooting the ice.

Eggman: This much fun should be illegal!

Y/n hit the laser with Spin Dash.

Eggman: Why you!

Y/n: You say you're the greatest inventor, but you can't even reinforce your lasers.

Julia: (On P.A: Y/n and Sonic, I want you two to take a deep breath and relax. Focus on your goal, relax, stay in the moment, and feel the ice with your feet.)

Sonic: Not bad. Now, if I can only keep my feet from slipping, this ought to be a piece of cake.

Yellow robot: Something's the matter. Why isn't Sonic frightened?

Silver robot: I don't like it. A moment ago we had him on the run.

Eggman: That's because we had a laser that Y/n destroyed. Enough of this! Let's put a freeze on those hedgehogs.

Suddenly, Bokkun flew to the Egg fort II crying.

Eggman: What are you doing here?

Yellow robot: He looks upset.

Bokkun: Please, let me in!

Silver robot: Why should we let you in?

The X Tornado came out of nowhere.

Chris: It's the X Tornado!

Amy: But who's flying it?

Ella was flying it.

Ella: I'll get you, you brat!

Chris: It's Ella!

Amy: But how?

Tails: How can she learn to fly the X Tornado?

Chuck: Ella can do anything she puts her mind to... except windows.

Bokkun screamed.

Bokkun: Help me!

Eggman: What are you bawling about, Bokkun?

Ella: Now we change to X Cyclone. Transform!

The X Tornado turned into the X Cyclone midair.

Ella: You'll see who's boss now! Cyclone kick!

The X Cyclone completely wrecked the Egg fort II.

Y/n: This was definitely not what I was expecting when I agreed to come on this trip.

Later.

Y/n and Sonic returned to the yacht with Ella and the X Tornado.

Y/n: This was a kind of great vacation, Jerry.

Jerry: Yeah.

He moved his Knight.

Y/n: I never got a chance to thank you for helping me whip Sonic's ass earlier.

Y/n traded his Pawn for his Rook back.

Jerry: It was my pleasure. You know, I'm really glad I met you, Y/n.

Y/n: Same, Jerry.

Jerry put his Knight in a position to take Y/n's King.

Jerry: Check.

Y/n smiled and took Jerry's King with his Rook.

Y/n: Checkmate.

Jerry: Ah! You always win.

Y/n: Guess I'm just that good.

Jerry: Rematch!

Y/n: Sure, I'd be happy to beat you again.
