The sun was setting as Y/N sat there underneath the tree reading her book. She moved her front hair to the side and looked up as the first few stars appeared in the sky, a feeling of hope and comfort grew inside of her. The calm atmosphere made it even better.

"Hey, sweet cheeks."

Speaking of the devil.

"Hello, Rouge." Y/N sighed, not bothering to look up.

Rouge showed up right in front of her face upside down, hanging on the tree.

"How do you know it's me?" she smirked.

"I just know it. Plus, I can feel your... seductive vibe."

"Oh?"

Y/N looked away, blushing.

"Don't get the wrong idea!"

Rouge chuckled and noticed the book in Y/N's hand.

"What're ya reading?"

"Oh, nothing usual. Just reading the book about the Elements of Harmony." she said, showing her the book with a golden unicorn on the cover.

"Hm... Interesting."

"I know."

Rouge flipped herself over and landed on her feet. She brushed off her pants and look around then at Y/N. Y/N looked up to notice her staring and blushed a little. She then stand up.

"Do you think you can fly me home?"

"You're asking me?"

"Yeah. I actually had a home myself. I never told anyone that I made a home, not even my brother or my family knows."

"Hm... Why are you telling me this?"

"Well... Not because that I like you it's just I actually want to fly instead of taking a long walk." Y/N said, looking away.

Rouge smirked.

"Alright, sweetie. Whatever you say."

Rouge then grabbed Y/N under her arms and scooped her up in the air.

"Where to?"

"That way."

Y/N pointed to the right as Rouge took her to the direction as they fly.

Y/N looked down at the view of Mobius in awe as Rouge fly her there in the air. Rouge smiled down at her and decided to do something. She flew down to the other direction.

"Wait, Rouge. My home is that way."

"Don't worry, sweetie. We got time. I thought we could have some fun."

"Like what?"

Rouge just smile and keep flying until they are near the beach where the ocean is. As they fly over the ocean, Y/N tried to reach her hand into it when Rouge quickly wrapped her arms around her waist for her to move more. Y/N happily placed her hand into the water as they went through with some splashes. She could see the reflection of herself and Rouge as they shine beautifully with stars from the sky. They then fly higher up to the sky.

Rouge looked down at Y/N to see her smiling in excitement and purposely let go of her, causing her to scream for a sec before she was quickly caught by Rouge with her arms around her waist.

"Rouge! Stop that! That wasn't funny!"

"Sorry! Couldn't resist!" Rouge laughed and flapped her wings faster.

Y/N could feel the wind in her face as they are now high up in the sky with the moon right in front of them. Everything is beautiful. She brought her hands up in a T-pose like she's actually flying. Y/N closes her eyes with a smile on her face as she let out a cheer. Rouge smiled down at her to see her having fun. She turned to see some flying white swans in the sky and flew over next to them to join in.

One of the swans noticed Rouge and Y/N and squaked in shock. Y/N turned over her shoulder and gave it a wave, smiling before they flew away from them. The swan had its mouth agape and quickly kept on flying almost bumping into another swan.

The girls laughed as they are now heading into the clouds. Rouge spin herself and Y/N around rapidly as they fly through the clouds until they went under, disappearing from the view. Then they fly up out of the clouds and are now in the sky once again.

"Brace yourself!"

"Huh?"

Rouge fly up to the moon again and threw Y/N up in the air.

"Wah!!!" she screamed as she was flipped over.

Rouge caught her by the waist once again and went back to flying through the night sky. Y/N couldn't help but laugh, feeling rather estatic and finding it awesome. Rouge laugh along with her.

After a good amount of flying, they are now back in Mobius as Y/N showed her the direction as they landed on the ground.

"Thanks for the flight, Rouge. It was actually fun."

"Nah, it was nothing."

"Oh, it wasn't nothing. You're lucky you get to fly around the world. But after you took me to the sky, I started to learn something. It was worth it."

Rouge blushed, looking away.

"Shucks, sweetie. I'm glad that you have fun."

Y/N smiled and turned to see where her home is until she found it.

"Ah, there it is."

Rouge looked to where Y/N was looking and was shocked to see a rather large treehouse.

"Woah. This is where you live? Must be a lot of work to make this your home."

"Yeah, it took me years to build this because I wanted a home myself if I'm going to live and grow up. Let's keep this as a secret for now on. No one knows about this, but you and me."

"I promise. Not a single soul." Rouge said, crossing her heart.

"Come on in. I'm sure you're a bit tired from a flight."

Y/N and Rouge then head towards the treehouse as Y/N brought the lights on.

As Y/N invited her in her treehouse, Rouge took a seat on the couch and look around her cleaned treehouse filled with books.

"You have some taste in books in your treehouse."

"Well, I just love reading. It keeps me busy. I even write stories to help me remember the good times I have along with you, my brother, and everyone else. Maybe someday the people will come and read and make their own story."

Rouge looked at her and smiled. She really loves Y/N as she likes how passionate she can be when it comes to stories and everything.

"Y/N."

Y/N turned to her.

"Yes?"

Rouge stood up from the couch and walked over to her.

"I need to tell you something... You and I have got to know each other and get along so great, I want to give you something."

Once she's close to Y/N, Rouge puts her hands on Y/N's cheeks and presses her lips on hers, making Y/N's eyes widen in shock. Her heart thumping in her chest and face red as an apple.

Rouge releases herself and looks at Y/N who stuttered.

"I-I... Uh..."

Y/N was speechless as the bat smiled and flew up to her height.

"I know you love me Y/N. You were just afraid to admit it, so I decided to put matters in my own hands. I also know that you're not ready yet. Especially, for a girl like me~"

Y/N feel like she's going to explode at any minute as Rouge walk past her.

"Well I'm off Y/N, I'll be seeing you soon. Thanks for the invite. Love you." she winked and flew outside from Y/N's balcony and disappeared out into the night.

Rouge look back at her treehouse and smiling, knowing that she found the perfect one that's more than just a jewel, and that was Y/N. Y/N placed a hand where her lips is and Rouge left a lipstick mark on her. She then fainted on the spot.
