"The new Emerald Coast Resort sounds like the perfect place to get away from it all! You can hang out at the beach, or float in the crystal-clear ocean all day long, then dine as you watch a spectacular sunset!" Amy said full of excitement.

Tails, Cream, and Cheese are already in the X-Tornado. Chuck, Chris, Y/N, and Amy are standing nearby, and Sonic is sleeping in a few crates, as usual.

"It sounds absolutely romantic! I wish we were going to the opening party!"

"We'll have fun at the Thorndykes' villa. Are you ready to go, Cheese?" Cream said.

"Chao-chao!" Cheese replied.

"Can't wait to ride some waves." Y/N jumped in excitement. "I love surfing!"

"I'm ready too, guys! My flight plan will take us right to the Emerald Coast." Tails said.

"Be careful, Tails, and try not to let anybody see you." Chris warned him.

"They won't have a problem as long as they stay on the grounds of the villa." Chuck assured him.

Chris holds up an invitation.

"I wish I could hang out with them instead of going to the resort opening."

"I know, but your mother can't make it, so she needs you to go in her place. You won't have to stay long, and after you can join the others at the villa!"

"That's great!"

Chuck nods.

Chris turned to Sonic. "I can give you a swimming lesson, Sonic."

"You guys go on without me. I'm gonna stay right here." he said after he woke up.

Everyone is surprised at Sonic, except Y/N who shook her head, knowing that he doesn't want to go that involved water.

"Sonic, you mean you're not coming with us?" Amy asked.

Sonic leaps down from the crates.

"That's right. Have fun, I gotta run!"

Sonic then dashes out of the garage.

"That's weird. I wonder why Sonic doesn't want to go to the Emerald Coast with us." Chris said.

"It must be because Sonic hates water. He won't go near the ocean because he can't swim." Amy said.

"Yep, remember Chris?" Y/N said.

"Oh, I forgot that."

"But Sonic doesn't have to swim. He could go running on the beach!" Tails said.

"It's not gonna be as much fun without Sonic."

"Let's leave him be. There's no way of changing his mind about the water he hates." Y/N suggested.

Chris hears a car horn from outside, and sees that it's Ella and Tanaka.

"Mr. Chris! We have to leave now or you'll be late for the ceremony!" Ella called.

"Have a great time, Chris." Chuck said.

Chris nods. "We'll meet up later."

"Okay. Don't be long!" Amy waved.

"See you there!" Tails said.

"Good luck!" Y/N said.

"Chao chao chao!"

"And don't be nervous, Chris. That opening party will be just fine!"

"Uh, yeah..." Chris chuckled nervously.

Soon, the X-Tornado and it is in position to take off. The engines warm up, the wings open, and Y/N hopped on one of them, holding on, and Chuck presses the button that tilts the trees away from the runway.

"Next stop: Emerald Coast. Hang on!" Tails said.

The X-Tornado gains speed as everyone braced themselves.

"Here we go!"

The X-Tornado takes off. Chuck watches it.

"I bet that my brother is in the nice field full of flowers.." Y/N mumbled, knowing she jinxed it.

Meanwhile, Sonic is lying in a field among the flowers just like what Y/N had guessed. He picks one of them.

"Who needs the ocean?" he smiled.

In the Emerald Coast, Y/N, Amy, Tails, Cream, and Cheese are enjoying themselves in the water. Amy, Y/N, and Cream changed into their swimsuits. Amy dived underwater to explore. Cream was playing around in the water with Cheese who's in the tube. Y/N is surfing doing some rad moves before doing a wipe out.

"It's really beautiful down there!" Amy said who surfaced out of the water. "This place is unbelievable!"

"It sure is, Amy! I'm really glad we came!" Tails nodded.

"Heck yeah, it is! The waves are fun!" Y/N exclaimed, sitting on her surfboard.

"And we'll have even more fun when Chris gets here." Cream said.

Y/N noticed the big wave coming towards the shore and looked at Cheese.

"Wanna try and ride the wave with me, Cheese?"

Cheese look at the wave then at Y/N before nodding.

"Chao chao!"

Cheese flew over to her in front of her and she started paddling the board, going straight for it. Amy got out of the water towards the beach along with Tails and Cream. She started walking while they build a sandcastle. Y/N and Cheese are under the waves where they can see some dolphins swimming through as Cheese held on with his mouth filled with cheer.

Cheese then started to stand on it and raised his hands up in the air. Y/N looked down with a smile and controlled her board. Tails and Cream watched with joy as Y/N and Cheese surfed and both of them did some rad moves and they gave them 10 points with their leafs. After an hour, the wave ended and they floated back to shore where the sandcastle was built.

"Nice sandcaslte. Very creative." Y/N said, squeezing out the water from her front wet hair as Cheese flew over to Cream.

"Chao!"

"Thanks! Hehe!!"

Amy then later came back with pink seashells and sat on a beach chair, creating a bracelet on her own.

"Hm... I wonder what Sonic would say..."

Suddenly, Cream and Y/N appears in front of her.

"Who's that for, Amy?" Cream asked.

"Ah... Oh... Nobody." Amy quickly hid them behind her.

Y/N raised her eyebrow and pointed to the bracelet behind her.

"It's for my brother, isn't it?"

"How do you know?"

"Amy, I know you ever since you and I met when you thought Sonic and I are a thing when we're practically siblings. I knew for a fact that you really like Sonic and you would always hug him and always talk about how great he is and give him affection."

Amy blushed, knowing that she's right and was about to say something when there's a rumbling in the distance. Black smoke pours from the villa. Another explosion occurs and they could hear everyone screaming as they realized that's where Chris is. The girls quickly changed out of their swimsuits with their own clothes and jumped inside the X-Tornado. Amy used the binoculars to spy on the villa, which is completely destroyed. She sees Eggman in his Eggmobile, shouting orders.

"It's Eggman!" she gasped.

"That egghead again.." Y/N groaned.

Tails maneuvers the X-Tornado for takeoff.

"Out of the way! I've gotta save Chris!"

Suddenly, Amy tosses her binoculars to Tails and hops into the back seat of the X-Tornado.

"Amy, what are you doing?!" he exclaimed.

"Sonic's gonna show up to help, but if he doesn't, Chris is gonna need all the help he can get."

"Okay. Here we go!"

The hatch closes, and the X-Tornado takes off.

"I hope they make it back safely." Cream said in worry.

They soon arrived to see Eggman setting up his theme park and Sonic fighting against the Octoron. Sonic dodges the tentacles, and when he is about to land a hit on Octoron, he is stopped by a tentacle which begins to wrap around him. Octron dunks him into the water. Y/N doesn't waste time and opened the hatch and leaped out of the X-Tornado along with Amy.

"Y/N, Amy, wait!!"

"Let him goooo!" Amy yelled.

Y/N and Amy draw thier katana and hammer and slammed and sliced it on Octoron's tentacle together, severing it. It whips back into Octoron's body, knocking it down into the water.

"HOW COULD YOU?!" Eggman cried out.

"Keep your rotten robots away from my Sonic, or you're gonna be sorry!"

"No one dunks my brother like that"

"Thanks, Amy, Y/N."

Sonic dashes along a section of roller coaster track before jumping off.

"Hey, Sonic!" Tails called and shoots a ring towards Sonic, who grabs it.

He spin-dashes through Octoron and bounces around a few times inside it before exiting. Octoron sinks into the water and explodes.

"Oh no!" shrieked Eggman.

Amy runs over and hugs Sonic.

"Sonic!"

"Whoa! Lighten up, Amy!"

"You won this time, but I'm not through!"

"Yeah, right!"

Eggman flies away. Sonic turns to Amy.

"What you did was crazy."

"I know, but you made do crazy things!" Amy giggled, causing the siblings to roll their eyes.

The X-Tornado flies by.

"Everything okay down there?!" Tails shouted.

"Yeah, thanks for the ring!" Sonic shouted back and turns to Amy and Y/N. "Thank you."

"No prob." Y/N winked.

Sonic starts to leave when Amy stopped him.

"Wait!"

Sonic stops and Amy holds out the bracelet she made for him.

"Sonic, this is a bracelet I made to protect you in the water."

"Oh... You made it for me?"

"If you wear it, it will bring you good luck."

"Really?"

There is a pause and Y/N decide to leave them be. Just as Sonic is about to take the bracelet, a giant explosion rocks it out of Amy's hands and onto the ground not far from them.

"Your bracelet!" Amy cried out.

Then a large number of Quizons stack on top of each other, forming E-39 Serpenter, and crushing Amy's bracelet in the process.

"I can't believe it!"

Eggman flies in.

"I told you I wasn't through with you, Sonic, didn't I? My Quizons have merged to form Serpenter, and it's ready to strike! Impressive, isn't it, Sonic and Y/N?"

"Well... that thing is pretty tall. But I bet in a battle it comes up short!" Sonic smirked.

"Once an Egghead, always an Egghead." Y/N said.

"You two will need more than speed and a sword to survive this robot, you sibling brats!"

"Really? Yo, fang face! Let's see how quickly you can slither!"

Sonic leaps away.

"After him, Serpenter! Get rid of that blue bozo!" Eggman ordered.

"You heard your boss, slowpoke! Right here! Catch me!"

Amy gathers the broken pieces of the bracelet.

"I guess my charm... wasn't so lucky..."

She begins to cry, letting a few tears fall on the broken bracelet. Y/N patted her head.

"Hey, don't cry, Amy! You can always make another one!"

Suddenly, there is fire in her eyes when she opens them again. Y/N quickly took a far distance away from her, knowing Eggman messed up real bad.

"All right, Serpenter, you know what to do! Put the squeeze on Sonic and then toss him out to sea!"

"Aaahhh! Now you're gonna pay!"

She draws her hammer and charges toward Serpenter.

"Don't mess with me!"

In a move that surprises Sonic, Y/N, and Eggman, she hammers Serpenter's tail.

"Oh..." Sonic sweatdropped.

"Oh my..." Eggman said.

Y/N just shivers. Amy begins hammering segment after segment off of Serpenter.

"Oh no... Perhaps I'd better... go..."

With all the segments gone, she repeatedly strikes Serpenter's head. Serpenter's head springs up, sending Amy high into the air. She readies her hammer as she sails toward the Eggmobile. With a mighty blow, she slams her hammer into the Eggmobile, sending it into the ocean. As it surfaces, Eggman looks up in terror to see a savage Amy about to strike. Sonic and Y/N watched from the shore ad water billows upward.

"Amy!" Sonic called.

Sonic takes a deep breath and dives ito the water.

"Sonic! Are you crazy?!" Y/N shrieked and dived down with him.

But Sonic doesn't listen. He swims toward Amy, who is clutching the bracelet. He then grabs her and Y/N grabs him and pulled them towards the surface to the shore where the gang is. They ran over to them with worry.

"You guys okay?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, we're good." Y/N said and turned to Sonic who's looking at the unconscious Amy and knocked him on the head.

"Ow..!"

"That was very stupid and reckless of you, again. When are you gonna learn?"

"Sorry. Maybe never." Sonic said with a sheepish chuckle. "Do you guys have any thread?"

Y/N looked through her backpack that she always take with her and pulled out a black thread.

"I kept this with me just in case."

"Thanks, sis."

Y/N nodded with a smile as Sonic tied the black thread going through the leftover shells that wasn't broken and when he's done, he placed it around his wrist.

"Looks like you found someone."

"Don't tell Amy that I did that. But maybe you'll find someone too, unless they're good and I won't hesitate to give them a good kick."

"Sonic!"

"See you all later!"

With that, he zoomed off. Y/N shook her head as she never thought of being with someone who's special to her. Maybe one day she will. Tails look at Y/N with a shy blush as he hid something behind his back and looked back at Cream who nodded at him. He took a deep breath and marched up to her.

"Hey, Y/N?"

"Hm?" Y/N turned to Tails.

"I-I have something for you." he said and showed her the shell and opened it to reveal the beautiful blue pearl, making her gasp.

"I found it in the ocean and I thought of giving this to you like Amy did. I-I hope you like it."

"Wow. Thanks, Tails. It's lovely." she said, taking it from him and stare at the blue pearl.

"I took a quick research what blue pearl symbolizes and it is truth, tranquility, trust, and courage. When you give it to someone who needs strength in their life or who appreciates the peaceful and tranquil moments."

Y/N looked at Tails who's looking down, blushing. She closed the shell where the pearl is hidden and held it in her grasp before giving him a kiss on the cheek. Tails felt his fur go up along with his tail and his face turned red as he froze.

"Take this as a thank you again."

She then walked away to check on Amy as Tails stood there for a moment and fainted.

Amy wakes up. It is now sunset, and she is back in the beach chair. Cream and Y/N are with her.

"Amy! You're awake!"

"Phew. You had us worried that you wouldn't wake up."

"Where am I?"

"You're back at Chris' villa. They brought you here after you were pulled out of the water." Cream explained.

Amy sits up and looks around.

"Who brought me?"

"Me, Chris, and Tails did in the X-Tornado." Y/N replied.

"Is... Sonic okay?!"

"Yes, but he went back home."

She looks down at her hand to see the bracelet is no longer there.

"The bracelet's gone... I made it just for him, and now it's gone..."

She begins to cry, which brings tears to Cream's eyes as well.

"Aw, don't cry..."

Amy looks up with new resolve.

"It was a good luck bracelet to protect him in the water, but I guess Sonic had good luck anyway."

"Don't worry, Amy. Sonic fixed it and kept it with him." Y/N assured with a smile.

"Really? He did?"

"Of course."

Amy sighed in relief.

"Thanks, Y/N. You'll be lucky to find someone like Sonic."

Y/N stared at the shell in her hand that Tails had given her and looked down from the balcony to see Chris, Tails, and Cheese playing on the beach.

"Maybe."
