Back in Mobius, it is daytime, and the Grand Egg Imperial is flying over a city. Eggman laughs into a microphone.

"Attention! I have an important announcement that I'm sure you'll hate. Your favorite fiend has returned! Your king of calamity, the awesome Dr. Eggman! I am delighted to inform you that this planet will soon be under my power! It is pointless to try and resist me! Surrender immediately, or you will all be destroyed!"

Eggman's warning sends the animals into a panic. Bocoe is reading a book, and Decoe and Bokkun are playing chess.

"If Sonic and Y/N are back in this world, we would have seen them by now." Decoe said.

"We're wastin' our time! They must have decided they liked that other planet better!" Bokkun whined.

"I'm positive Sonic and Y/N followed me here. They would never let their arch enemy get away." Eggman said.

Bocoe turns the page.

"I am not sure, Doctor. Perhaps Sonic and Y/N got bored fighting with you."

"Working with him is even worse." Decoe added.

"Let's just get this over with!" Bokkun shouted.

"Now hear this!!"

Eggman turns up the volume, and his voice blasts through the city.

"This is your last warning! Submit to my rule or I'll wipe up this whole world! You hear that, Sonic and Y/N? Sonic! Y/N!"

That night in Cream's house, Amy is visiting Cream and Vanilla. Vanilla pours tea for Amy. Amy sips the tea.

"Ah, just the way I like it."

"We're really happy you stopped by to visit us, Amy." Cream said.

"Chao chao!" Cheese nodded.

"So have you thought about that offer we made the other day? Would you like to come live here?" Vanilla asked.

Amy closes her eyes in happiness.

"Thanks for the invitation, but I... can't accept."

Cream is surprised.

"We want you to stay here with us! We really care about you!"

"Please, Cream..." Vanilla said.

"I know. ... I'm really glad I have a friend like you. But you don;t have to worry about me. It's been lonely without Sonic around, but... I know... he'll come back... Even Y/N..."

"I'm back, and badder than ever!" Eggman voiced over.

Amy becomes startled, then angry. The Grand Egg Imperial is flying nearby.

"I've come to publicize my dastardly designs for building the Eggman Empire! I'm all set to spread misery and mayhem around the globe! You'd better quit your foot-dragging and race to the rescue, Sonic and Y/N! Otherwise, this world will have to face the music!"

A disco ball lowers, and Eggman starts dancing.

"Hah!"

"How embarrassing." Bocoe commented.

"What dance is that?" Bokkun questioned.

"I think it is called the 'jerk'."

Suddenly the ship shakes from a sudden impact, knocking everyone over.

"What was that?" Bocoe asked.

"I think something hit us!" Decoe said.

It is revealed that Amy's Piko Piko Hammer is embedded in the hull of the ship.

"Hey! Who is the wise guy that hammered our home?!"

"There's something about that hammer that looks awfully familiar."

Amy is standing outside the house, staring down the Grand Egg Imperial.

"Amy! Why did you hit us?! We were not bothering you!" Decoe exclaimed.

"Don't you have any idea what time it is?! Turn down that volume or I'll knock that flying loudspeaker out of the sky!!"

"Just because your boyfriend's not here; don't take it out on me!"

"That is right!"

"You should not blame Dr. Eggman!"

"It's certainly not my fault he or his sister haven't shown up yet."

"I bet the reason Sonic stayed back on that other planet was 'cause he couldn't stand to be with you anymore! And thinks you'll never be Y/N's sister in law!"

A fiery aura surrounds Amy, indicating fierce anger. Cream and Vanilla slam the door and shut the window. They know better than to mess with an angry Amy.

"Amy's a hothead, but now she's hot all over!" Cream exclaimed in fright.

Decoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun are huddled together in fear in Grand Egg Imperial.

"Talk about fire up!"

"She'll cook our goose!"

"Perhaps we should say we are sorry."

"She's the one who's gonna be sorry if she messes with me! You'd better cool off, cupcake. We've got your hammer up here, so you can't touch us!"

To prove Eggman wrong, Amy instantly summons a second hammer.

"Aah! Another one!"

"She has more hammers than a hardware store!"

"Don't strike me just because you're struck up with Sonic!" Eggman exclaimed.

At a nearby cliff, Knuckles and Rouge watch the argument. Amy swings her hammer.

"AAAAAH!! You creep!!" Amy shouted.

"Where's your boyfriend?!" Eggman shouted.

"Don't tease her! She's mad enough already!" Bokkun exclaimed.

"That's because Sonic dumped her!" Decoe said.

"I was not... dumped!!"

"Oh yeah? Then how come Sonic's hiding from you on another planet?"

Amy shuts them up by hurling her hammer at the ship, further damaging it.

"Amy's not too happy." Knuckles said.

"She's been like that since we came back." Rouge said.

"I know why. She misses having Sonic around to hang out with."

"Yeah... This planet can get pretty lonely. I wonder why Sonic still hasn't shown up yet. What do you think? And also, where's that darling Y/N? She should be back right now. I miss her already."

"Who knows. Sonic's unpredictable. As for Y/N, not sure, but she'll be here. I know it."

"You're right. I'm sure they're on their way. Unless they hit a time warp during the transfet to this world. If that happened, they may not get here for weeks or months, even years."

"Time warps are tricker than you realize. All kinds of crazy things can happen if you get stuck in one. Of course, you're just a jewel thief, so you wouldn't know. You don't have a clue--"

Rouge punches Knuckles in the head, causing a large bruise.

"What'd you do that for?!"

"Hmph. 'Cause I don't like your attitude!"

She dons a Knuckles wig and imitates him.

"'You're just a jewel thief, so you wouldn't know.'"

She removes a wig.

"Instead of being so nasty all the time, maybe you can try being nice to me once in a while, then maybe I wouldn't find you so unlikable. As it is now, you're more sour than a truckload of lemons! But I only like Y/N the most, since she's so cute and knows how to be nice to me!"

"Then don't hang out with me!!" Knuckles shouted.

"I WON'T! Once I'm gone, you'll be completely miserable, mister! Once Y/N hears this, she won't hang out with you either! I don't know what she see in you, but you are such a jerk!" Rouge shouted back.

"Actually, it'll be a huge relief not to deal with your batty behavior. But I'm sure Y/N'll come to me. And I'll have you know, Y/N is the only one who respect me and knows me better. She can sometimes get mad at me, but she knows that how I am. Unlike you, Y/N will be better off with me."

That does it with Rouge. She Screw Kicks him into the ground. He slowly gets up.

"That... does it. It's been a real kick having you around, but you better behave yourself, or else I'll have to give you the boot!"

"I'm gonna keep pounding away 'til I got you tenderized." Rouge darkly said, making him flinch.

She charges toward Knuckles.

"From now on, you're gonna respect me!"

Their brawl begins.

"It's time you learn some manners! You better start being polite or else! And I'll show you who Y/N will be better off with, and it's going to be me!"

Meanwhile, Tails is flying the Tornado 2. Having heard Eggman, Tails had no time to remove his sleeping mask and nightcap. He pilots the plane toward the Grand Egg Imperial.

"I'm grouchy when I don't get my sleep. I'll teach ya not to wake me up, Eggman!"

"I won't rest until I track down Sonic and Y/N, and mobody else will either. So if you want to get back to sleep, then help me find those hedgehogs!" Eggman said.

Tails rips off his sleeping outfit.

"I'm never helping you!"

"He's challenging us"

"Shall we charge up the cannons, Doctor? We can blast him out of the sky!"

"Good idea."

A barrage of Piko Piko Hammers slam into the hull.

"Hold on! We're not ready to fight you yet. Let's lead him into a trap. Follow me, Tails!" Eggman said.

"Okay!"

The Grand Egg Imperial flies away. The Tornado 2 follows.

"But don't try anything funny!"

"Who, me?"

Amy has yet another hammer at the ready.

"Come back here! I'm not finished with you, Eggman!"

She lowers her hammer. Cream and Cheese open the door and try to ease the tension.

"Why don't you come back inside, Amy? Your tea's getting cold." Cream shakily smiled.

"Chao-chao-chao!" Cheese skakily smiled.

The Grand Egg Imperial flies over a forest.

"We'll hide from him behind these clouds. Then we can ambush that pest!"

But Tails opens fire anyway.

"Tails didn't even wait for us to double-cross him."

"That twerp is already one step ahead of you." Decoe said.

Eggman stands up.

"Alright! I'll just have to up the ante by triple-crossing him!"

"Oh Doctor, he is coming at us again!" Bocoe warned.

"Fire!" Eggman ordered.

The Grand Egg Imperial opens fire with a hail of lasers upon the Tornado 2, but it skillfully dodges.

"Guess he's got me. I'd better get outta here, fast!"

Tails pulls a lever, and a canopy surrounds him.

"Hey, what's goin' on?"

Suddenly, the familiar voice of Tails' old friend Chuck comes over the speaker.

"Tails, this is Chuck. Since you just pulled the transformation lever, I assume you're in danger right now. Don't worry; this shield is made of a special material that can withstand almost any assault."

A shot of Chuck tinkering with the Tornado 2 is shown.

"When I heard you were leaving, I decided to give you a secret gift. I made sure you were away from the lab and made some modifications to the X-Tornado. I'm not as clever an engineer as you, but I don't think I did too badly for an old-timer. Anyway, I did my best, and I hope your gift comes in handy."

"Thanks, Chuck." Tails smiled.

"X-Tornado, transform!" Chuck said over the speaker.

The Tornado 2 changes into the Hyper Tornado, which looks similar to the X-Tornado.

"Now it's the Hyper Tornado. Good luck, Tails!"

The Hyper Tornado soars toward the Grand Egg Imperial.

"Eggman, look out!" Tails said.

"What is that?" Eggman asked.

"Tails transformed his plane!" Bocoe said.

"It looks completely different now." Decoe added.

"And more dangerous." Bokkun added.

Tails opens fire with just about every weapon he has upon Eggman's ship.

"Missiles awaaay! ... Fire plasma blast!"

The Grand Egg Imperial is targeted with a giant laser, a swarm of missiles, and a large fireball. But is is revealed that Tails' weapons did zero damage.

"You've wasted your time, little pest. Because in a few moments, your plane will be history!" Eggman laughed.

"We have the perfect weapon to take him down, Doctor."

"I'll turn the tables on Tails. Let's do a little fox hunting with our brand new interceptor missile!"

"Roger!" Decoe saluted. "All systems are go. Begin missile launch sequence now!"

A large missile is launched at the Hyper Tornado.

"It's comin' quick, but I can trick it!"

Tails attempts to dodge it, but the interceptor missile is still on his tail.

"If I can't outsmart that thing, I'll outmaneuver it!"

He dives toward the Grand Egg Imperial.

"Here goes!"

He speeds toward the bridge.

"So long."

He pulls up at the last possible second. However, the missile is still chasing him, much to Tails' shock. Eggman laughs.

"I finally invented the perfect weapon. No matter how hard you try, you won't shake that missile from your tail, Tails."

"This missile is only programmed to attack your plane." Bocoe pointed out, beaming.

"It has a personal touch." Bokkun giggled.

Decoe and Bocoe applaud their master.

"You have really outdone yourself, Doctor."

"You deserve credit for creative cruelty!"

Eggman rubs his head.

The missile gains on Tails.

"It's no use! I can't get away!"

"I think Tails has learned his lesson. You can go ahead and recall the missile." Eggman said.

Decoe hesitates.

"But how, Doctor?"

"Just hit the recall button."

Decoe begins sweating.

"There is no recall button."

Eggman cups his hand to his ear.

"What did you say? Speak louder."

"There isn't one!"

"What?! You didn't install one?! Thanks to you, Tails really is going to be destroyed! With Sonic and Y/N gone, I can't afford to lose another enemy!"

"Sorry, Doctor."

"There is nothing we can do to save him now." Bocoe sweatdropped in fear.

Back to Tails as the missile is closing in.

"This is it..."

Suddenly, a bright light comes from the moon. Tails works up the courage to look up as the light becomes brighter. Suddenly, Super Sonic and Super Y/N appears. Tails bursts into tears of happiness as he sees his old friend and his crush friend. They blazed through the missile, destroying it. Then they land on the hull of the Grand Egg Imperial. The villains can only stare as their old adversaries has returned.

"Hi, Eggman. What's up?" Sonic greeted.

"Miss us?" Y/N teasinly asked.

Eggman's look of shock changes into a grin.

"You're finally here."

"You won't be conquering this world, either."

"As long as we are here."

"That's what you think, super saps! If you dare to interdere with my plans, I'll squash you two like a bug!"

But Sonic and Y/N quickly destroys the entire Grand Egg Imperial, which immediately explodes. Eggman and his hench-bots escape in the Eggmobile. They disappear in a twinkle. Sonic and Y/N takes off. But Sonic and Y/N are gone as they went their separate ways.

"Boy... it's good to have my buddy back. Even Y/N..." Tails said, looking so happy.

By the cliff, Knuckles is thrown to the ground by Rouge, who is panting.

"So... do ya... give up yet?"

"Are you kidding? I'm just warming up!"

Knuckles looks up to see Super Sonic and Super Y/N flying through the sky. Knuckles gets up.

"It's them!"

Rouge inspects her injuries.

"Well, waddaya know. I guess neither of us knows very much about how those time warps work."

Knuckles laughs.

"You look awful!"

"You sure do look awful, Rouge. Even you, Knuckles."

Knuckles and Y/N turned to see Y/N leaning against the tree with the amused look on her face.

"And you two have been fighting while me and my brother are gone? Talk about a bunch of children these days."

"Sorry about that..." he nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh, Y/N!"

Rouge flew over to Y/N and tackled her to the ground.

"Whoa!"

"I was worried that you will leave me. I have to be stuck here with a big bad boy who was being so mean to me."

"R-Rouge...!" Y/N exclaimed, blushing as Rouge hugs her.

"Hey! Get off of her!" Knuckles growled.

Rouge's hand then accidentally touched her sensitive spot on her belly, making her yelp with a hint of giggle. This caused Rouge to stop as well as Knuckles' rant who's about to snatch Rouge off of Y/N.

"P-Please don't touch me there. I'm very sensitive."

"Oh, you are~"

Y/N looks up to see Rouge grinning at her.

"No... No, Rouge... No..."

"Tickle attack!~"

Rouge started tickling Y/N on her belly. Y/N started laughing hysterically, trying to pry her off. But she was too weak to push her off if she's still laughing. Knuckles looked on with wide eyes and walked over to them.

"Stop! Rouge! Stoop! Knuckles, help me! Hahahaha!!"

She expected him to shove her off, but he ended up joining the tickle attack, much to her dismay.

"Nooooo!!!"

"Looks like you're outnumbered, cutie." Rouge smirked.

"Not you, too! Please! Stop!! That tickles!"

"Sorry, but this is your punishment for worrying us. We have to get an earful of Eggman in the middle of the night. So this is your fault." Knuckles grinned teasily.

"Alright! Alright! I'm sorry! Ahahahahahahaaaa!!!"

"Promise you won't worry us and next time, tell us where you are." Rouge said.

"I will! I promise!!"

Six years have passed on Earth. Chris Thorndyke, who is now eighteen years old, is working on a portal in a large workshop. A wheelchair pulls up behind him. It was Helen who is also the same age as Chris.

"Chris. It's time." she said.

Chris looks up from his code.

"Oh, yeah."

He leaps up out of his chair.

"That's right. We're supposed to meet Danny, Hikaru, and Frances for lunch today. Let's go!"

"Whoa, easy, Chris! I know you're always late."

Chris pushes Helen's wheelchair out of the Thorndyke Science and Technology building. Soon, they are driving away in a red car. Helen is driving.

"Why don't you let me drive for a change?"

"No way. Chuck designed this car especially for me, remember? And besides, riding while you drive is too... nerve-wracking."

"What does that mean?"

"I'm a much better driver, and never even got a parking ticket, which is more than I can say for you."

"It's not my fault somebody turned that one-way sign around."

Soon, Chris, Helen, Danny, Hikaru, and Frances are gathered in a cafe.

"So, who's gonan test out your machine, Chris?" Frances asked.

"Why don't you send me, Chris? I'm not afraid to be the first one to give it a try." Danny suggested.

"Why don't I go? I like to see Y/N again." Hikaru said.

"Don't you ever think of me too?" Frances pouted.

"Of course, I think about you, France. You're the only one I ever laid eyes on."

Hikaru kisses Frances on the cheek, making Danny rolls his eyes. Let's just say Hikaru and Frances are together and have been dating for a while.

"It's not ready yet. My machine's totally useless until I can figure out how to cause Chaos Control." Chris said.

"But as soon as he does, we'll all be able to go to Sonic's world together." Helen said.

"Sounds dangerous to me." Frances said.

"Ha! I laugh in the face of danger!" Hikaru laughed.

"Y/N's personality is getting the best of you, babe..."

"Yeah, if Chris messes it up, we could all be toast." Danny said.

"Well, you don't have to come with me then." Chris joked.

The others laugh.

"Hard to believe it's been six years already."

"I know."

"It went too fast."

"Yeah, almost at Sonic and Y/N speed."

"Sonic... Y/N..." Chris thought.

Six years ago...

A Chaos Emerald is shown.

"You collected the Chaos Emeralds."

The seven Chaos Emeralds begin orbiting Sonic and Y/N on that night Chris' parents found him.

"Now I see. You don't need the machine that Tails and Grandpa built. You can cause Chaos Control yourselves."

A tear runs down his cheek.

"You two were able to gather 'em all in a flash... because you're so fast. Even though I've been tough to deal with lately, you never gave up on me, Sonic and Y/N. Thank you."

"Chris!"

Chris looks up as Sonic and Y/N grab each of Chris' hand.

"We're gonna go really fast. Hang on!"

Chris' eyes widen.

There is a flashback of Y/N persuading Shadow to listen to Maria, followed by her being protected by the power of her crystal, then, her hugging Shadow. Also, Super Shadow casts off his limiters, and Y/N held one of his limiters close to her in tears. Another flashback shows Chris trapped inside the E-99 Eggsterminator along with Y/N. Y/N breaks free and helps Chris out. She yanks out the Chaos Emeralds from their sockets and gives it to Chris. Later, his healing and encounter with Super Sonic and Super Y/N are shown. Sonic and Y/N continues to hold hands with Chris at the speed of sound. Yet another flashback shows Chris' rescue and first meeting with Sonic and Y/N. Even Sonic is crying now as well as Y/N who couldn't hold it in. As the world goes dark, the tears are the last thing he sees before it does completely black.

"Soniiiic! Y/NNNNNN!"
