Various people are running around the park. Some of them are wearing Sonic-themed and Y/N-themed shirts. Scarlet Garcia is on the scene.

"City Park has been overrun -- overrun by fitness fans obsessed with running and skating. This new craze is all thanks to the hedgehog siblings, Sonic and Y/N. Their heroics are inspiring thousands of people to put on their jogging shoes and run for fun, or put on their roller skates and skate for fun. Some even tried to do rocket skating and make toys of Y/N's weapons to play."

She speaks to one of the runners.

"Why did you decide to take up running, sir?"

The man wipes his sweat.

"Uh, I don't know. Sonic has such a great time racing around, I thought I'd try."

She then speaks to one of the roller skaters.

"What about you? Why did you decide to take up skating, miss?"

The woman grinned.

"Because it's fun. I plan to do skateboarding that Y/N does for fun tomorrow. For another great exercising day."

In Thorndyke Mansion's living room, the TV is tuned to the news station. Cream and Cheese are playing with toy blocks, and Chris is reading. Vanilla is also present. Y/N is painting the father deer with the baby deer next to him that she encountered with back in the forest. Once she was done, she smiled in satisfaction.

"School officials and athletic coaches report that their track and roller skating programs are more popular than ever, and new records are being set daily. Experts in sports psychology by the sudden turn of events-"

"SONIC!!"

Suddenly, an angry Amy storms into the room, causing the other to cower back.

"Hi, Amy." Chris nervously greeted.

"What's wrong?" Cream asked.

Amy leaps up onto the table.

"Alright, where are you hiding, Sonic? You better come out now!"

Chris cautiously approaches Amy.

"He's not here."

But Amy puts Chris in a headlock and draws her hammer.

"You can't fool me! I know you're hiding and Chris is covering for you, so come on out, Sonic!"

Y/N rushes over to Amy.

"Woah, woah! Amy! Chill! He's not covering for him!"

"Yeah! Sonic was here earlier, but he left, and he didn't say where he was going." Chris said.

"Chris is telling the truth, Amy!" Cream said.

"Chao!" Cheese said.

Amy releases Chris, and he sits on the ground and massages his neck. Y/N leans over to check on him. Amy kneels on the table in front of Chris.

"I'd better find him right away, or there's gonna be big trouble."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Is a monster attacking the city again?" Cream asked.

"No, it's worse."

She growls, causing Cream and Cheese to quiver and hide behind Y/N.

"Woah, Amy!" Y/N said, putting her hands up in surrender.

"I-I'm sorry Amy, I didn't mean to make you angry!"

"Chao chao!"

"Take it easy. Just tell us what's going on and maybe we can help." Chris said.

A fiery aura appears around Amy.

"Nobody can help! Sonic had a date with me and he never showed up! Aahh!"

"Is that all?"

"Oh, so you think I'm overreacting."

"Well, just a little..."

"That's easy for you to say! It took him forever for him to ask me out! I was so excited that I ran out and bought new shoes!"

Amy kicks her feet in frustration.

"They look very nice, Amy." Cream said.

"It doesn't matter how I look because Sonic stood me up!"

Amy buries her face in her hands. Chris pats her back.

"I'm sure there's a good reason Sonic missed your date."

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"Well... Maybe he... I know! He had to stop Eggman from destroying the planet!"

Amy looks up.

"I though Dr. Eggman was in prison."

Chris covers his mouth.

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

"Just like Sonic forgot our date."

"Maybe he is coming, but he's running late."

Just then, the doorbell rings.

"He's here!"

She races toward the door.

"Sonic!"

As Chris, Y/N, Cream, and Cheese cough on the smoke in Amy's wake, she throws open the door.

"I'm ready..."

But alas, it is not Sonic who stands there, but Sam Speed instead.

"Hey, is Sonic around, Amy? I just put a new engine in my car and he said he'd race me."

Amy blinks in surprise.

"I can't wait! My new engine runs on high-octane rocket fuel! It's got more horsepower than you can find in a rodeo. With this baby under the hood, I'll be taking a victory lap before Sonic leaves the starting line!"

Chris, Y/N, Cream, and Cheese have joined Amy at the door.

"Sam..." Y/N said not surprised to see him.

"Hi, Uncle Sam." Chris greeted.

"I hope Sonic's not getting cold feet. When I called in this morning, he said he dodn't have anything else to do today." Sam said.

This sparks anger in Amy once again. Chris holds onto Cream and Y/N as a blue fiery aura appears around Amy.

"Sonic has a date with MEEEE!!!"

A few minutes later, Amy mindlessly doodles on the hood of Sam's car, Chris explains the situation to his uncle.

"She's upset because Sonic missed their date."

"Well, that's a bummer. Looks like Sonic made two different appointments and stood both of us up." Sam said.

"That doesn't sound like Sonic." Chris pointed out.

"I'm sure that Sonic doesn't care about me. That's why Sonic didn't show up for our date." Amy sighed.

"Amy..." Cream said.

"Sonic's a busy guy. I bet I'd take lots of patience to date him, not to mention a pair of really excellent running shoes to keep up with him." Sam laughed.

"Uncle Sam!"

"I know!"

Amy backflips into the car's passenger seat.

"Since Sonic bailed on both of us, we'll go out together."

"You two?" Cream and Y/N questioned.

"Come on; we'd better get going before the whole day is shot."

Sam smirks before climbing into the driver's seat.

"Alright, Amy. Let's show Sonic we don't need him to have fun."

"Hold on, Uncle Sam..."

"Don't worry. We won't be long. Last year I set a world record for speed dating."

The car takes off.

"This is crazy." Chris said.

"Poor Amy. She's been waiting to go out with Sonic for a long time." Cream said, looking up.

Chris wraps his arms around the back of his head.

"Yeah. Guess Sonic doesn't take dating as seriously as she does."

"He's not like that. Besides, he's with someo-" Y/N said, but was cut off.

"I think that's awful!" Cream said and heads back inside.

"Hey, wait! Don't get mad at me! Get mad at Sonic!" Chris exclaimed.

In Y/N's room, Y/N is sitting on her bed with Cream and Cheese.

"Can you please sing us a song? I feel kinda bored." Cream asked rather cutely.

"Chao!" Cheese nodded in agreement.

Y/N giggled and patted both of their heads.

"Sure. I actually have something in mind. In case, that we do leave this Earth. We'll never forget about them."

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and began to sing. (Play music)

Cream's and Cheese's eyes sparkled in joy as Y/N sings. Chris was walking by when he heard her singing voice and looked over the opened door to see her singing to them. He smiled, feeling tears spilling out as it reminded him of the times he had fun with Sonic, Y/N, and everyone else from another dimension. Vanilla was there as she closed her eyes, smiling at her beautiful voice while swaying through the music.

As she continued singing, Chris and Vanilla are already inside the room next to Cream and Cheese without letting Y/N notice as she was so lost in her own voice. Her crystal began glowing and floated up in the air in front of her. Her singing must have got the crystal to love that voice like it's being given with energy. Once she's finished, she opened her eyes to see them, making her jump in surprise before smiling.

"I suppose you heard it."

"It was beautiful, Y/N. Your voice was like an angel." Vanilla said.

"I love it! It was so good! It makes me so happy!" Cream jumped in joy.

"Chao chao!" Cheese said.

"You sing wonderful." Chris said.

"Nah, stop." Y/N bashfully said, looking away.

"It does make me feel better to forget about Amy's..." Chris shivered. "... anger."

"Mhm." Cream agreed, nodding.

"Thanks, everyone."

Amy and Sam are enjoying the sunset at the beach.

"When we were racing down that road, I felt so alive. It was incredible!"

"You could go even faster. You should try supersonic speed."

"Maybe someday."

"You know... This turned out to be one of the best dates I've ever had." Sam admitted.

"This is beautiful. And getting here was sort of fun."

Amy and Sam glance at each other.

"Thank you, Sam. If it wasn't for you, I would have spent all day feeling sad."

"Day's not over yet. You can still be in for a surprise."

They look up to see Sonic standing there.

"Hey there! Sorry I'm late!"

Amy leaps off the car and runs toward Sonic.

"Sonic, you do care about me!"

Amy is just about to hug Sonic, but he sidesteps, causing her to fall. Sonic approaches Sam.

"I'm ready to race, Sam."

"My car has a new engine. It'll blast right past ya!" Sam smirked.

"We'll see about that."

Sam leaps into his car as Amy starts to get up.

"Ready when you are!" Sonic said.

"Get set... Go!"

Amy watches the two take off into the sunset, gritting her teeth.

"Those two guys... This was definitely the worst day ever!!"

Cream is taking a walk with Cheese and Y/N outside the mansion.

"It's getting late, Cream. We'd better go inside or Ella will get worried." Y/N suggested, looking at the sunset.

Cream nodded.

"Yeah. I hope she's cooking us a big dinner tonight because all that playing made me hungry."

"Tell me about it." Y/N chuckled. "All that singing, painting, and hanging out with cute babies like you and Cheese is making me hungry."

Cream giggled bashfully and suddenly becomes aware of a movement in the bushes.

"What is it, Cream?"

"Hey, look..."

"Chao..."

They peek in and Y/N's eyes widen to see the robot. Its eyes are back to its normal shade of blue.
