Ella, Chris, Y/N, Tails, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are seated at the table for mealtime.

"Are you ready for dessert?" Ella asked.

"Yeah!" Y/N, Tails, Amy, and Cream nodded.

"Chao!" Cheese said.

Chuck enters.

"I'm glad you're here. I have good news!"

"What kind of good news, Chuck?" Tails asked.

Tanaka is also with Chuck. He is holding a tray containing various government documents.

"I'm going to hand out some official documents issued by the government that you'll need to hang on to."

"Documents?" Tails blinks.

"Yes, to verify your identity."

The documents are soom passed out. Amy holds up two of the documents.

"But what for?"

"They'll help you prove who you are when you travel around. And for Tails, we have special licenses that'll allow him to fly any kind of aircraft he can build to any destination on the planet."

Tails is holding numerous documents.

"All these just to fly?"

"He never needed them before." Chris said.

"Well, that's the price Tails and the others have to pay for being made residents of this place. From now on, they're going to have to follow the same rules and regulations as the rest of us."

Tanaka nods.

"Chuck. What kind of license is this for Cheese?"

Cream holds up one of her licenses.

"That certifies that Cheese is the honorary citizen Cream's pet."

Cream becomes angry, which alarms Chuck and Tanaka.

"What? A pet? How rude! Cheese is not my pet! Cheese is my dear friend!"

"Chao chao!"

"Calm down... Don't be like that."

"Make sure to cancel this!"

"Okay, okay."

"You should listen to Cream alright. Cheese is not a pet, he's a companion. I see him like a cute little brother." Y/N said.

"Yeah! What Y/N said is right!" Cream said.

"Chao!"

Cheese cuddled Y/N's cheek, making her smile and cuddle back.

As they are speaking, Amy opens one of her documents and looks at it.

"Uh..."

There, in the corner, is a picture of Amy in battle with her hammer.

"I look terrible!"

Tanaka, Chris, Y/N, and Cream crowd around her.

"Really?"

"You do?"

"Something wrong, Amy?"

"Let me see."

"Chao."

"Why did they have to use this picture? I look like a lunatic!"

"Now now, Miss Amy. I wouldn't say that it makes you look like a lunatic exactly." Tanaka assured.

"I think you look more like a warrior. It's not that bad." Y/N nodded.

"It makes me look like an insane, off-the-wall, out-of-control maniac. I HATE IT!!"

Amy turns to Y/N, making her flinch.

"Let me see yours."

Y/N hands it to her and Amy look at her picture. It showed her skating in midair, doing a salute at the camera with a smile.

"No fair! You look good and your picture is better than mine!"

"It's not a competition, Amy."

Sonic enters.

"Hey there, guys. What's all the excitement I hear about in here?"

"Sonic, just in time. I've got your documents, too."

Chuck hands Sonic a document.

"Here. Always keep this with you."

"Oh? What's this for?"

"It's a passport, so you can go wherever you want whenever you want to!"

"Pretty cool. I do like to travel. If I went everywhere I wanted to go on this whole planet, it'd take me..." Sonic chuckles. "...about a day!"

"Whatever..." Y/N rolled her eyes.

The X-Tornado is out on the runway. Tails, Chris, Amy, Cream and Cheese are inside, and Sonic and Y/N are on the back of it.

"Bye, everybody!" Amy waved.

"We'll see you later!" Cream said.

"Chao chao!"

"You be careful up there! No funny stuff!" Ella said.

"Bye, Grandpa! I'll see ya!" Chris said.

"I'll be waiting." Chuck nods.

The palm trees bend to either side of the runway.

"X-Tornado, take off!"

Tails pulls back on the throttles, and the X-Tornado takes off. Ella and Tanaka wave.

"Tanaka, go keep an eye on Chris, but make sure he doesn't see you." Chuck said.

"Yes, sir. I will be invisible." Tanaka beamed.

As the X-Tornado is flying, Amy is reading a magazine.

"Oh, Amy, are we going to go somewhere that's sunny?" Cream asked.

"Uh-huh. Look. ... The Grand Blue Sapphire Sea.

She shows the magazine to Cream.

"This travel guide says it's one of the most beautiful places on the whole planet!" she closed the magazine and sighed. "I bet their sunsets are very romantic..."

"I hope there's a good wave for me to surf. And maybe I could go swimming where there's cave in it." Y/N said, imagining so many beautiful water in the cave.

"Hey Amy, do your read me?" Chris called.

Amy becomes alert.

"Check out the scenery down there. It's really pretty awesome."

"I'm not looking. I only care about one thing..."

She returns to the magazine.

"...and that's getting to the sea ASAP!"

"But I'm trying to tell you, we're flying over the Grand Blue Sapphire Sea right now!"

Amy, Cream, and Cheese look out the window, while Y/N look below.

"Wow! The water looks amazing!"

"It's so beautiful!"

"Chao chao!"

"Yeah! I wanna go swim! And go waterskiing too!"

"Let's all go sailing!"

"Chao!"

"Yeah! I can't wait!" Chris beams.

"So exciting!" Y/N beams.

"Hey, Chris." Tails said.

"What's wrong?"

"Check out the Chaos Emerald."

The Chaos Emerald is glowing.

"Could it be another Emerald?"

Suddenly, the X-Tornado begins to shake.

"Hey! What's goin' on?" Sonic said.

"W-Woah!" Y/N wobbled.

"The same thing happened when we were flying over Diamond Stadium. And that means..." Tails explained.

"Since we're flying over water, there must be a Chaos Emerald underwater!" Cream finished his sentence.

"You're right, Cream." Amy said.

"We have to go find it." Chris said.

"Hang on! I see a landing spot. I'm gonna take us down!"

The X-Tornado speeds toward a coatal town.

"Nice place here. ... Let's try to leep a low profile, okay, guys?" Sonic stretches before leading the group toward the beach.

Y/N noticed that there were people staring at them and already feel uncomfortable as they pass by.

"Hey! Aren't those Sonic and Y/N the Hedgehogs?" Man gasped.

"Yes. It is them." Woman said.

"I wonder what they're doin' here?" Teen asked.

Suddenly, they notice a crowd of people running their way with cameras and notebooks for autographs.

"Let's get their autograph!"

"Aah! Stampede!" screamed Chris.

"We'd better get outta here quick!" Sonic said.

They flee from the crowd. Having evaded the crowd, Chris, Y/N, Tails, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are panting on the beach.

"We can't escape crowds no matter where we go." Chris said.

"Being famous isn't any fun. I wish we could just blend in with the crowd, but that seems impossible." Amy sighed.

"We all stick out too much." Cream nodded.

"It was a lot easier when we had to hide out at your house." Tails added.

"This is why I rather have people mind their own business.." Y/N shook her head.

"Well, at least we lost that crowd for a little while." Chris said.

"Yeah! Why don't we all go for a swim while we have a chance?" Amy said.

"Hey..." Cream started.

"Huh?"

"Didn't Sonic run here with us? Where did he go?"

"Huh?"

"Maybe he decided to look for the Chaos Emerald by himself." Chris guessed.

"Probably." Y/N nodded.

Chris and Y/N begin looking for Sonic.

"Sonic! Where are you? Hey! Sonic! ... I wish he didn't have to always do things on his own..."

"You talkin' about me?"

Chris spots Sonic behind a sand dune.

"So there you are. I thought you'd be looking for the Chaos Emerald, not taking it easy."

"That Chaos Emerald's out there somewhere, but I can't find it unless I get to the bottom and stay there for awhile." Sonic said, looking at the ocean nervously.

"So the big problem is how to get you an air supply down there, right? Leave it to me!"

"Have fun suffering, Sonic. I'm gonna go for a swim with Amy and Cream." Y/N said with a smirk and walks away.

"Hmph.. You don't have to jinx it..." Sonic angrily pouted.

Y/N, Amy, and Cream are in their swimsuits. Soon, Amy and Cream are playing in the water, while Tails and Cheese, wearing sunglasses, are chilling on the beach. Y/N is diving in the water to see some fishes and collect some clams she can find that have beautiful pearls in it. As she was looking she saw something rather hilarious. Sonic leaps into the water with the hose in his mouth. He seems to do fine, until the spool with the hose is wrapped around falls into the water. As Sonic tries to pull it loose, a crab cuts the hose with its claw, then takes hold of Sonic, forcing him to swim upward. Y/N giggled as Sonic leaps out of the water with the crab still on him. He kicks the crab off of him, and it falls into the water.

Sonic is soon seen walking on the ocean floor with the bell over his head. He begins sweating.

"It's hot in here, but it sure beats breathin' through a hose. Only I can't see where in the water I'm goin'. I wish this thing had a window..."

He trips over a stone, causing him to drop the bell.

"Oh great, I'm stuck! This diving bell is useless! I can't even ring it to get help!"

"Uh oh... Looks like it's hero time." Y/N said with a giggle and swam after him and pulled the bell off of him.

She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the surface to where Chris is and she made him collapse.

"Sonic?... Are you dead?" she asked with a smile.

"No.. I'm alive... Any more bright ideas?"

"We can't give up yet. There's gotta be some way to reach that Emerald."

Later still, Chris leads everyone toward a dive shop.

"If we're gonna search underwater, the best way to go is to rent some scuba gear. You always need to use some professional equipment or else diving can be really dangerous."

"You should have done that in the first place!" Sonic looks mad.

"We'll need six air tanks, plus flippers, and a pair of goggles for me. I should have enough money with me to pay for all the diving equipment and the boat. How much will that all cost, sir?" Chris asked.

"Forget it. You don't owe me a dime." Dive Shop Owner said.

Chris is surprised.

"The government sent a notice to all shop owners that it'll cover your bills as part of its Sonic and Y/N budget. Is there anything else I can get for you guys?"

Chris is amazed.

"It might help if you told me what you are diving for."

"Uh, we're going to see... Uh..."

He is distracted by a model boat.

"Wow! This awesome ship model is exactly like the one in that painting, right?"

"Yeah. They're the same. You see, this ship was lost at sea a long time ago, and there's a legend that it sank near here with a huge load of gold. Folks here think the legend is true."

Soon, everyone leaves the shop, except the owner.

"Thanks! Let's get the boat, guys."

"Take care, and have fun! I hope they find what they're looking for." he said after they leave.

Soon, everyone is in a boat out in the ocean.

"Don't worry, Sonic. We'll be with you in case you get into trouble." Amy assured him.

"That's right." Chris nodded.

"But we know you'll do great down there." Tails said.

"Remember to take long, deep breaths and you'll be okay."

"Right." Sonic nodded.

"Then let's go!"

Chris puts his breather on and dives into the water.

"Ready to rock, Sonic?" Y/N asked.

"R-Ready as I'll ever be, sis. Let's dive."

Sonic, Y/N, Tails, Amy, and Cream dive into the water as well. The six divers swim near the ocean floor. Tails, holding the Chaos Emerald, leads the way.

"The Chaos Emerald's getting brighter. We must be getting closer!"

"Hey look!" Chris said.

They stop swimming when they see something.

"Whoa!"

They find that they have arrived at the wreckage of a ship.

"That must be the ship the guy in the diving shop told me about."

"It looks like that's where we'll find the Chaos Emerald, too." Tails said.

"Then what are we waitin' for? Let's go check it out." Sonic suggested.

They proceed toward the wreckage and stumbled across the treasure where there's a whole pile of gold and jewels.

"Wow..." Tails gasped.

"Rouge would love this. It'll be like a paradise for her." Y/N thought with a smile.

"So the legend was true." Chris said.

"It's amazing!" Cream said.

"Think of how much jewelry you could make with all this gold!" Amy said.

"This is glowing at full brightness now. I bet the new Chaos Emerald is buried somewhere under all this gold. We'll have to dig through the treasure to find it."

"Right. But that could take us forever!"

The crab Sonic saw earlier appears, holding the white Chaos Emerald.

"What's that?!"

"Oh, no way!"

"He's got the Chaos Emerald!"

"You think he'll give it to us?"

Sonic approaches the crab, startling it.

"Hold it right there! We need that Chaos Emerald. Drop it or I'll give you something to be crabby about."

The crab tosses the Chaos Emerald to Amy and flees.

"This vacation turned out to be very rewarding."

"I'll say." Y/N said, secretly taking some jewelries for Rouge and hid them in the pouch that she carried with for the search of the clam, but found none, so this will do.

"We're one step closer to going home!" Cream said.

"Your vacation is over Sonic and Y/N!"

Everyone turns to see the Egg Fort descending toward them.

"They're going to wish they never saw the sea! Clurken, put the sting on those hedgehogs!

The robot called E-57 Clurken approaches.

"You guys get back to the boat." Sonic said.

"We'll handle Eggman and this robot." Y/N said and hid her pouch.

"Alright. But be careful, you two. Come on, guys!"

Everyone but Sonic and Y/N swims for the surface. Clurken attemps to crush them with one of its tentacles, but Sonic and Y/N dodges it. Sonic tries to run, but only succeds in kicking up a dust cloud. Y/N shook her head that he forgot that he can't run in the water. Clurken slams all its tentacles into the ground, causing the hround to break and send the hedgehog siblings flying.

Clurken's tentacles fire missiles. Y/N kicked one of them out of the way, but not all as the force of the explosions send both of them toward the surface.

They dodge another tentacle attack, but takes hold of it and allows Clurken to throw them to the surface. Clurnek surfaces itself and uses all its tentacles to lift Sonic and Y/N and toss them repeatedly into the air.

"Hey! Get your tentacles off of us! Hey! Cut it out!" Sonic shouted.

Just then Sam Speed arrives on a jetski. He picks up a handle used for waterskiing.

"Grab this and you can ski your way free!"

He tosses the handle to Sonic, who catches it and Y/N held onto his shoulders. They soon take off. Churken fires more missiles at them, but they miss.

"Come on! You can do better than that, Eggman!" Sonic smirked.

"Bleh!" Y/N stick her tongue at Churken.

"Hey, Sonic, Y/N!"

They look up to see Tails flying above them.

"A ring! Here, catch!"

Tails tosses a Power Ring to Sonic, who catches it. To Sam's surprise, Sonic and Y/N do a spin-dash together, U-turns in midair, and barrels through Clurken, causing it to explode brilliantly.

"Alright!" Chris cheered.

Sam gives Sonic and Y/N a thumbs-up, and they return it with a wink.

"Thanks, Sam."

"Thank you so much."

At Tanaka's boat, it is now sunset.

"Then the guy at the diving shop told me the most amazing story of all. Turns out, his great-grandfather was the captain of that sunken ship we found." Chris explained to Tails.

"Whoa, cool!"

"I'm sure glad we came here." Cream said.

"Chao chao!" Cheese said.

"Me too." Y/N said.

"And now that Dr. Eggman's gone, we can enjoy our vacation." Amy said.

Y/N then look at the pouch and open it to see them still here. She will send this to Rouge when she sees her.
