In the living room, Chris ran in holding two black small devices towards Y/N and Sonic who are sitting on the couch watching Lilo and Stitch movie.

"Hey Sonic, Y/N, I got you each an I-Phone! This is gonna make things a lot easier."

Sonic and Y/N each took the I-Phone from Chris' hand.

"Oh, really?" he asked.

"Yeah, don't you see? Now we'll be able to reach each other right away, for when you're out on a run! We can talk anywhere now. No sweat!" Chris said and winked. "Now make sure you leave it on."

"Thanks, Chris." Y/N said, liking this new device while Sonic wasn't that interested.

"Hey, Chris, Y/N, it's time to get going!"

Tails and Amy enter the room. They look impatient.

"We've been waiting outside for you two."

"Oops, I forgot."

"Oh, sorry."

"Where are you guys going?" Sonic asked.

"Now that we can go out in public, we're heading to Station Square to go shopping! We've spent weeks hunting down Chaos Emeralds, but now it's time to do some bargain hunting. So I'm gonna shop 'til I drop!" Amy then scowled at Sonic. "There's no point in waiting for you to take me 'cause I don't even know where you are most of the time."

She becomes delighted when she sees the I-Phone in Sonic's hand.

"We can stay connected all the time!"

"No thanks."

He drops the cell phone into Amy's hand before dashing out the door.

"Wait, Sonic! What about your cell phone?" Chris called.

Sonic pops back only to say...

"Oh, leave a message for me! And take care of my sister, Tails."

...before leaving again.

"I guess he wants to be left alone." Tails sighed. "Wait, what did he mean by taking care of you, Y/N?"

"Beats me." she shrugs.

"But why can't he be left alone with me?!" Amy asked feeling frustrated.

Ella is driving the limousine, with Chris in the passenger's seat. Y/N, Tails, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are sitting around a table in the back with beverages.

"I don't understand why Sonic doesn't want me calling him."

"Unfortunately, Sonic is the kind of guy who needs lots of privacy." Amy replied for Chris.

"Yep." Y/N nodded.

"But what do we do if there's an emergency? Without a phone, we don't have a way to reach him."

"Don't wory, Chris. No matter where Sonic is, he has a way of showing up when he has to." Tails assured.

"Are you sure?"

"Count on it!" Y/N, Tails, Amy, and Cream said with thumbs up.

"Chao-chao!" Cheese said.

Chris smiles. The limo nears its final destination: the Station Square Shopping Center. The mall is packed. Ella holds up a new outfit for Cream, while Cheese bounces on a pile of folded shirts. Amy is trying on different outfits in the fitting room, but stops when she notices everyone staring at her. All but one of the shoppers flee. Amy is disappointed. Y/N is at Hot Topic as she checked out the gothic clothes, plushies, accessories, and more that are very interesting. She ignored those surprised stares from the people as she found a cool black faux leather removable hood studded vest and tried it on. She looked at herself in the mirror.

"I like that leather vest."

Y/N took it off and held it as she find other things she like. Her eyes then set upon the bracelet with a quote. It's the Lilo and Stitch bracelet the one she watched. She love that quote that said about Ohana. Y/N picked it and decided to buy these two and headed towards the cashier who's still surprised to see the famous hedgehog in the store. As she registered, someone walked up to her and Y/N turned and saw a gothic girl with a black notebook and a pen in hand.

"You're Y/N. Sonic's sister, right?" she asked and turned away, holding out her notebook in front of Y/N. "Can I have your autograph?"

Y/N smiled.

"Sure."

She took the pen from her and signed her name on it with her own logo. Y/N handed the gothic girl back her notebook and pen and she bowed.

"T-Thank you, Y/N. You're cool."

With that, she ran off. Y/N took a change from the cashier and grabbed her grocery bag but not before writing the autograph on the notebook that the cashier had asked. Y/N quickly walked out of the store and gasped to see some more people who are a fan of Y/N asking her for the autograph and ran off.

Later, Chris and others are sitting at a table in a restaurant. Unfortunately, this situation is not very different.

"Chris?" Amy asked with a nervous sweatdrop.

"Yeah?"

"This is... very weird..."

Indeed, literally hundreds of people are staring at them, some of them even peering in through the window from the street.

"I'm scared..." Cream whimpered, making Y/N pat her head.

"Chao-chao..."

"How come everybody keeps staring?" Tails asked, feeling exasperated.

"You're all big-time celebrities, ever since you helped knock out Eggman's base." Ella said.

"But we didn't go after Dr. Eggman to become famous. Of course, if they ask me to appear on TV or magazine covers, I won't turn 'em down." Amy said.

"Sorry. Guess it'll take a while for people to get used to you guys here." Chris frowned.

"I'm not so sure they'll ever get used to having us here." Tails sighed.

"Say cheese!" the male photographer said.

Suddenly, camera flashes begin blinding them. Ella stands up and angrily faces the photographers.

"Look over here!"

"Smile!"

"No more photographs!"

Ella's steely gaze keeps the unwanted paparazzi at bay. Chris stands up as well.

"Let's try someplace else."

Soon, a waiter leads them into the restaurant's VIP section.

"Right this way."

The crowd is still staring after them. Amy, who is bringing up the rear, pulls a face at them.

"Come on, Amy!" Y/N grabbed her arm and pulled her away.

The waiter leads the group to one of the seats as everyone else stares.

"Oh my, they allow pets in here?"

"Instead of escorting those beasts into our dining room and creating a scene, they should check them into the coat room with the rest of the furs."

Y/N death glare at the women who are gossiping, showing them the slice in the neck as a warning, making them nervous and turn away. She scoffed and looked away and sat down in the table with her friends.

"I'll be right back with your menus." the waiter said and leaves.

"This is a private club, so we won't get hassled."

But Chris is very wrong, as he and his friends are suddenly swarmed by a crowd of people. One woman grabs Chris.

"I saw how brave your friends were on TV! May I ask for their pawprints?"

Another woman, who is wearing many rings on her fingers, feels Cheese.

"It's adorable!"

"Chao!"

"Ohh, what a cutie!!"

Soon the entire table is surrounded, and Chris and his friends are being grabbed by the crowd.

"Oh, I'm gonna bring 'em all home!"

"Let me take a look!"

"Alright, get your hands off of me! I just want to have some lunch!" Amy shouted in anger.

"Yeah, this is supposed to be a fancy restaurant, not a wrestling ring!" Chris yelped.

"I... want to go back... home, Chris!" Tails exclaimed.

Fortunately, Cream, who is in Ella's lap, is spared most of the harassment.

"Me too!"

One woman grabs Y/N's ear.

"Is this your natural color?"

Y/N couldn't take it and stood up on the table.

"WOULD YOU KNOCK IT OFF?! CAN'T WE EAT OUR LUNCH IN PEACE?!! NO!! BECAUSE YOU GUYS KEEP BARGING IN WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT OUR FEELINGS, AND PERSONAL SPACE!!!"

Suddenly, her crystal necklace glowed, surprising everyone and the light soon covered her and her friends. Everyone blocked their eyes and gasped to see Y/N and her friends gone.

"Where did they go?"

Y/N and others found themselves in the private area and sighed in relief.

"What was that, Y/N? That glowing thing." Amy said.

Y/N took out her crystal necklace and showed it to them.

"The crystal must have sense me in danger and teleported us."

"Incredible." Tails awed.

Amy then sighed.

"What a waste... Our shopping spree was a flop."

"I'm sure things will get a lot easier once people get used to seeing you around."

Chris then notices someting outside.

"What's wrong, Chris?"

"Look!"

Everyone in the streets looks up and sees the massive Egg Fort fly over the city, eventually blotting out the sun briefly.

"Whoa!"

"That's incredible!"

"What is that thing?"

"Look at the size of that thing!"

"It's Eggman, isn't it?" Chris said.

"That's him." Tails said.

"You losers are about to learn that you can never defeat me. I'm like a rubber ball! Every time you try to slap me down, I just keep bouncing back! Since your government attacked me and destroyed my base, Im going to destroy your city and rebuild my headquarters right here!" Eggman laughs who's in the Egg Fort.

The Egg Fort deploys several E-42 Toroles onto the ground. They then proceed to use their wrecking balls to destroy several structures.

"Ugh, there's nowhere to go. The whole city will be wrecked if this demolition derby keeps up!"

"I sure wish Sonic had kept that cell phone!"

"Hey! Maybe we can get outta here!"

Unfortunately, it is destroyed by a Torole's wrecking ball. Thry look around to see thatbthey are surrounded by Toroles. The Torole directly in front of Chris and his friends raises its wrecking ball, and is about to strike, when Sonic barrels through it and the others. The lead Torole falls into the others, destroying them.

"Let's move it! Hurry!"

They flee. To Eggman's dismay, Sonic destroys the other Toroles, then races to the top of a skyscraper, to the amazement of the onlookers.

"It's Sonic!" Chris said.

"See? Didn't I tell ya thet he'd show up just in time?"

Chris nods.

"Let's play, Sonic, for keeps!"

"Fine with me, Eggman. Take your best shot!" Sonic smirks.

"Don't forget me!" Y/N shouted, activating her rocket skates.

"Ready, sis?"

"Yep!"

"Steady... Ready... FIRE!"

The Egg Fort launches five missiles at Sonic and Y/N, who promptly runs down the skyscraper. They ran underneath the legs of a Torole, and two of the missiles collide with it. Sonic circles another Torole and stands atop it, then leaps off as the remaining three missiles came towards Y/N. Y/N cut down two of them and kicked the last one towards the Torole as it strikes. Sonic destroys some more Toroles, then runs back up the skyscraper and leaps off it toward the Egg Fort. Unfortunately, he misjudges the the distance, and tries to run in midair, but to no avail, leaving him panting. He falls to the ground and lands on his feet. Y/N tried to run after him but was distracted by more robots and missiles that are surrounding her.

"Oh no! He can't reach Eggman's ship and Y/N's surrounded by missiles and robots!" Amy gasped.

"We need the X-Tornado to help them, but it's back home."

"We'll never get it in time!"

Just then, Sam Speed pulls up in a car.

"You need a lift?"

"Uncle Sam!"

Soon, everyone is piled inside the car.

"I'll get you guys home in a flash. Buckle up for safety!"

The car picks up speed and disappears around a corner.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Y/N ran and skated through the streets and noticed five E-43 Falcons pursuing him and firing lasers at them. They tried to avoid, but they still follow. They then hide in the alley, allowing the Falcons to fly past. They thought they lost them, but the Falcons appear behind them, and fire at them, forcing them to flee the alley.

Just as Eggman thought they are doom, Sonic look at Y/N and smiled, showing her that he got an idea. She nodded and he grabbed her hand and he decreases his speed, then they leap onto one of the Falcons. The Falcon fleet fly up toward the Egg Fort.

They were about to each the ship when the Falcon exploded. Y/N held on tight in hand and they flew towards the hull and Sonic grabs on. However, he has great difficulty keeping a grip, and starts to slide. The sound causes her to hurt her ears.

"Sonic! Stop! My ear! It hurts!!"

Sonic ignored her and kept on sliding until he finally loses his grip and they land on the ground as the Egg Fort unleashes a swarm of E-33 Buballs. Five of them surround the siblings, and fire beams at them, but they leap out from among them and took off.

Elsewhere, Sam is still racing Chris home.

"Hey, do you think... you could slow down a bit?" Chris asked.

"Are you kiddin'? Huh?"

Suddenly, several Buballs attack the car's tires, forcing it off the road. They charge their lasers. Out of nowhere, Mr. Stewart leaps on top of the car and uses a handmirror to deflect the lasers of the Buballs onto each other, and the last one onto itself.

"Hey, thanks, Mr. Stewart!"

"No problem. Are you all okay?"

Sam gets out of the car.

"Hey, I know you."

"Yes, we met at a party at Chris' house. I'm his teacher, Mr. Stewart."

"Yeah, now I remember. I forget things fast, but I remember 'em even faster."

"And I believe you're Chris' uncle, Mr..."

"'Mister' is what they call my dad. Just call me Sam."

"Hey! Aren't you forgetting we have to get something?" Amy interrupted them.

"The X-Tornado!" Tails said.

"Yeah, that's right!"

Sam ushers Mr. Stewart to the car.

"Let's go!"

"But where are we going?"

"Get in!"

Having finished his task, Sam climbs back into the car.

"Hang on, gang!"

He speeds down the road and onto a highway, passing a bus. Three more Buballs surround the car.

"Sam, speed it up!"

"I can't reach my mirror!"

"Aah! They're gonna fire!"

Suddenly, a souped-up mega truck drives into the Buballs, destroying them. Tanaka is at the wheel.

"Alright!"

"You brought the X-Tornado!" Tails exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Sonic and Y/N are running and skating along the rooftops, trying to evade the fire of the Buballs. Y/N gasped and tapped his shoulder and pointed something up ahead. They turned to see Tails and Amy in the X-Tornado.

"The X-Tornado!" he shouted.

The X-Tornado launches a Power Ring toward Sonic, who leaps far into the air and catches it.

"Yeah!"

Y/N jumped and grabbed his hand and they both spin in place in the air, pulling the Buballs toward them and destroying them. They land on the front of the X-Tornado as it flies toward the Egg Fort.

The Egg Fort's cannons open fire on the X-Tornado. Shells explode around the craft as it nimbly dodges the attacks.

In the mayor's office, he is watching the battle.

"It's Sonic and Y/N." he gasped.

Y/N quickly lassoed her whip and brought him to safety as the explosion hits right outside the window.

"Thanks."

"No problem." she said and quickly followed after Sonic and her friends.

"We can't fight Eggman here. Those buildings'll get wrecked!" Chris said who is wearing his football helmet, is also in X-Tornado.

"Chris is right. We have to get Eggman away from the city somehow." Tails agreed.

"Right! Leave it to us!" Sonic said.

The X-Tornado dodges more cannon fire while continuing to approach the Egg Fort. The X-Tornado stops in front of the Egg Fort's bridge, where Sonic and Y/N makes a face at Eggman. The X-Tornado flies away.

"I've had it with those hogs! That's the last time you'll diss me. Move it! Turn the ship around and go after Sonic and Y/N!!" Eggman yelled.

"What chance does he have against Sonic and Y/N?" Decoe facepalmed.

"I estimate his chance of defeating Sonic and Y/N at zero." Bocoe shrugged.

The Egg Fort flies after X-Tornado.

"It worked!" Sonic said.

"Probably because he's an idiot." Y/N said.

The Egg Fort pursues the X-Tornado, guns ablaze and begins charging its most powerful attack. The Egg Fort fires a gigantic laser beam at the X-Tornado, creating a gigantic splash. But the X-Tornado is able to escape the blast.

"The energy circuit got fried! We're in trouble!" Tails exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" Chris asked.

"In a few seconds, we'll lose power, and then we're gonna be sitting ducks!"

"Ah! Oh no!" Amy gasped.

"So the X-Tornado can only fly at full speed for a few more seconds?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah, if we're lucky."

"I think I know what Sonic is getting at.." Y/N said, after seeing a look on her brother's face again.

"Yep! You should fly full-speed at the bridge."

"But that's crazy!"

"Trust me, this is our only chance! You with me, sis?"

"Oh, yeah!"

The X-Tornado turns around and flies toward the Egg Fort's bridge.

Two rings are launched from the X-Tornado. Sonic catches one in each hand, then crosses his arms. He glows with a blue energy as Y/N glows with white energy coming from the same crystal.

"Hang on! Here we go!"

Amy squints at the bright light. Then the X-Tornado speeds directly toward the bridge.

"Blow them away!" Eggman ordered.

"The cannon is still recharging!" Decoe exclaimed.

Sonic and Y/N leap off of the X-Tornado, then spin towards the bridge. They sliced through the bottom of the bridge, causing severe damage to the Egg Fort. The interior of the bridge begins to glow brightly.

"We have lost all our controls, Doctor!"

"We must abandon ship at once!"

"Curse you, hedgehogs! I'll get you!"

The Egg Fort explodes and crashes into the sea. The X-Tornado lands on one of the battleships.

"Great job, Sonic and Y/N!" Chris said.

Amy runs over and as always hugs Sonic. Y/N rolled her eyes and walks away, ignoring Sonic's cry for help.

"Well, we've stopped Eggman again, but I'll bet he'll be back."

"He will always be back." Y/N said, patting Tails head.

"Looks like we're gonna be fighting against Eggman for a long time. He'll never surrender." Chris said.

"You guys are right. Eggman's got plenty of tricks up his sleeve. This battle is only beginning."

They watch the last of the splash from the Egg Fort land in the water.

"And we'll be ready for him."
