Cream, Cheese, and Y/N are in the living room. Cream and Cheese are finishing watching an episode of The Next Show, while Y/N is napping on the couch. Sonic is lying on the roof, reading a book called "Walk on the Earth." Tails, Chris, and Amy went off to find another Chaos Emerald hunt along with Frances, which Chris introduced Y/N to his friend.

"Bye-bye, my friends! I'll see you tomorrow!" Next said on the TV.

"Bye!" Cream waved.

"Chao chao!"

Ella enters carrying a pumpkin pie, and sets it down in front of Cream.

"I thought you two might like a little snack."

"Thank you."

"Chao chao!"

Suddenly, the TV's image changes to Channel 5 News.

"We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to go live to our SSTV correspondent Scarlet Garcia."

Scarlet Garcia is then shown at an event. Jerome Wise is at the lectern.

"The President's top aide is going to make a statement before taking questions from the press core." Scarlet said.

"The President has decided to take action to stop Dr. Eggman!" Jerome said.

This made Y/N wake up from her nap after hearing him say to stop Eggman and stare at the screen along with Ella, Cream, and Cheese.

"Huh? What?" Cream questioned.

"Has the administration developed a concrete plan to stop Dr. Eggman?"

"Yes." Jerome replied.

At the White House, the President is seated around a small table with two of his aides, the G.U.N. commander, a G.U.N. captain, Topaz, and Rouge. The GUN Commander lifts a section off of a model of Eggman's fortress that is set up on the table.

"The power generators for Eggman's base are located under the tower, Mr. President."

"Oh."

"This information came to us from Rouge and Topaz."

"Well Rouge, I'm glad my confidence in you wasn't misplaced."

"This spy stuff is right up my alley." Rouge smirked.

"We're all very grateful. Now, let's review our attack plan."

"Right." Aide 1 nodded.

"You're taking all the credit, I see." Topaz said to Rouge.

"I did do all the work."

The GUN Captain sets up several model ships and planes in front of the model island.

"It'll be a two-pronged assault from sea and air."

"Hm. Yes. But what if Eggman's robots counterattack?" President asked.

"These forces are merely a diversion. Eggman will deploy his robots against this frontal assault."

He sets up a model ship behind the island.

"Meanwhile, a special forces team will approach the island from the opposite side and sneak into the base from the rear. Once they break into the generator room, they'll cut off Eggman's power supply."

"They'll be backed up by a team from the Intelligence Agency, including Rouge and some other agents." P.T.A. added.

"Good."

"How come she gets top billing?" Topaz asked.

"You know how it works, Topaz. There's a star in every show. We're just bit players." GUN Commander said.

"Uh, now onto the subject of Sonic and Y/N." President said.

"We're ready to capture them and force them to work with us." P.T.A. said.

"Well, now... You see... I've sent someone to try a more diplomatic approach."

"Who, sir?" Aide 2 asked.

Y/N who's still sitting on the couch was sketching the picture that she saw when the crystal pulled her into the unknown place. She still had questions about that crystal and will tell Tails know about this. Suddenly, the doorbell ring and she stopped at what she was doing and quickly got off of the couch and hid behind the wall as Ella answered the door.

"Good day, sir."

Y/N took a peek to see Jerome and two Secret Service agents.

"... Aah! You're... the President's aide!"

She recognizes Jerome as the same man whom she saw hold the press conference earlier that day.

"Are Sonic and Y/N at home?"

"Huh? I don't know. Who are they?"

"What do they want with us? Now I'm getting more suspicious and I know for sure it was that teacher. And how the heck did they know where we live??"  Y/N thought in her mind, glaring at them.

Sonic is sleeping on the roof, oblivious that what is happening below him.

"I'd like you to let Sonic and Y/N know that I didn't come here to capture them. I simply came at the request of the President to ask for his cooperation. You should also tell Sonic and Y/N that if they do agree to work with us, they will be rewarded. The President gave his pledge that Sonic, Y/N, and their friends will be offered citizenship, and they'll be paid for their services."

"That's very nice, but I don't know no Sonic or Y/N."

Y/N decide to step out if what they said is true then she'll take this chance.

"What do you mean by cooperation? It better not be a trick."

Ella turned around and gasped to see Y/N standing there, surprising Jerome and the two agents.

"U-Uh..! This is not what it looks like!"

"It's okay, Ella. Now tell me, why would the President want me and Sonic? Is this some sort of trick or to capture us and lock us in like hamsters."

The three snapped out of it and Jerome cleared his throat.

"We want both of your help to fight back against Eggman. And I can assure you this is no trick nor a threat. We just need help."

"....Alright. And don't bother to explain how you know us and this place, etc. I think I heard enough and know already. Sorry to say this, but Sonic is busy, but I'm willing to help the President."

"Y/N? Are you sure? Like you said, it could be a trap." Ella whispered.

"Don't worry. I can handle myself. If Sonic asked where I am, just tell him that I'm visiting Hikaru." Y/N whispered back. "Plus, if they're willing to attack Eggman, they're gonna need all the help they can get since we know Eggman more than anything."

Ella then nodded.

"Okay. Good luck."

Y/N faced Jerome.

"Take me to your President."

"Of course. Thank you for your time." Jerome said and turned to the agents. "Call and tell the President that we're bringing Y/N the Hedgehog."

"Yes, sir."

"My name is Jerome Wise by the way. It's nice to meet you." Jerome took his hand out.

Y/N took it and shook his hand.

"Pleasure to meet you too."

At the White House, the group are now in the Oval Office. The President is on the phone.

"Yes, I see. Bye."

He hangs up.

"He didn't get to see Sonic, but he's bringing Y/N over now."

"Hmm??" Rouge smirked upon hearing that.

"Great." 

"I hope it's enough to stop Eggman." Aide said.

"And it looks like we'll have to count Sonic out."

"You don't need him in the game." Rouge said.

The President looks at her.

"Heh. Not when you got me and that cute Y/N goin' a bat for you."

"You're right, Rouge!"

"I'm not going to let anything stop me from getting my hands on a Chaos Emerald this time. But I have to be more careful around Y/N since she knows what I'm gonna do."

The door opens to reveal Jerome and Y/N.

"We meet again, Y/N." Rouge smirked.

"Rouge." Y/N deadpanned.

"You two know each other?"

"Let's just say we always know each other whenever fate or destiny brings us together~"

Y/N would have glare at her if Rouge hadn't giving her the seductive look with a wink, making her blush again.

"Jerome explained everything to me. I only came here to help you guys with the attack against Eggman. But we as family don't need anything from you nor the money you speak of. I for one don't trust you or anyone yet. If any of you try to capture me or betray me, I'll punch more than just your face." she said with a dark glare, causing everyone except Rouge to gulp and nodded.

"Happy to hear." President said, keeping the calm expression after.

"So, what's the plan of yours do you have in mind?"

Captain and Commander told her everything about the attack plan before telling her that she'll join their forces. Y/N thought for a moment and clearly never ask to join them, but if it's a way to defeat Eggman then she had no choice.

"Alright. I'm in. For now."

"Excellent."

Suddenly, they got a call and the P.T.A. answered it. Y/N immediately recognized that voice.

"This is Chalkboard Charlie calling Homeroom. Come in, Homeroom. Over." Mr. Stewart said.

"I knew it." she muttered with a glare.

"Looks like Y/N's friends have found a Chaos Emerald." P.T.A. said after ending the call. "This may well be our only opportunity, Mr. President. If Eggman leaves the chase after that Chaos Emerald, we can attack the base while he's gone. It'll improve the odds for our success"

"And we'll have Eggman on the run." Aide 1 added.

But the President is looking out the window, deep in thought.

"Mr. President."

The President finally turns to them.

"Alright, then. Let's get this job done!"

They nodded and they left the room along with Y/N and Rouge.

"You know I will be keeping an eye on you. I know you're after the Chaos Emerald. So you better not do anything stupid. Just giving you a warning."

"Don't you worry, honey. I know what I'm doing. I'll be on my best behavior."

Rouge then said something that made her die.

"How about you date me after this, then maybe I won't try and take the emerald?"

Y/N froze in shock and her soul was flown out of her mouth as Rouge walk past her with a chuckle. She sure likes messing with her.

At a military base, two pilots board their military aircraft. Knuckles is watching from afar.

"I wonder what's up now?"

He looked and saw something that made him nearly choke on his spit.

"Y/N?! What's she doing here? There's no way she would join them without explanation." he said.

Knuckles knows her for a long time along with Sonic. He doubt that she told Sonic about it because she's independent and knows she can take care of herself. He's going to keep a lookout on Y/N for her safety. He loves her more than anything and will do whatever it takes to protect her. He ran up to the fence that's surrounding the military base as several fighters jets take off.

"Squadron A is away! Squadron B, get set for your run on the island." Control Tower announced.

"They're attacking Eggman's base!" Knuckles gasped and went along in order to follow Y/N and somehow maybe find the Chaos Emerald too.

Several battleships and formations of fighter jets fire dozens of missiles at Eggman's base. They all strike the base with sheer precision. Three robots are deployed: E-11 Beacon, E-13 Guardbot, and E-14 Sneezer. Upon landing on the beach, Sneezer launches three missiles. The first two miss, but the third hits one of the battleships. While Guardbot shoots down one of the fighter jets, two others shoot at Beacon, only to be destroyed by the same robot. Y/N, Rouge, Topaz, and several GUN soldiers observe this behind the bushes. Rouge is wearing a black and pink full body catsuit while Y/N is wearing a black jumpsuit with black gloves and shoes, and her face was covered with a yellow and blue helmet that vaguely resembles the shape of a cat's head.

"They're putting up quite a fight. Now let's knock out the power." Rouge said, turning to the group.

Y/N and Topaz nodded and Rouge slips her mask onto her face and leads the way.

A bomb set up by GUN explodes, and Rouge enters the base through the newly-made hole, followed by the rest of the GUN troop. More jets are prepared for battle. However, Knuckles is hiding aboard one of them.

Back at the mansion, Sonic and Cream ran into the garage after Cream informed what she heard from the news.

"Hey, Tails, Y/N! Let's go-- Huh?"

But the garage is empty.

"How could they leave without you, Sonic?"

Chuck appears from the stairs with a cup in his hand.

"Hi there, Sonic. Tails went flying with Amy and Chris and his friend Frances. I'm not sure where. They left quite a while ago, so I don't think they'll be gone too much longer."

"And Y/N?"

"Ella told me that she went to visit Hikaru."

"Lousy time for a joy ride!"

Chuck suddenly got a call and he answered it.

"Yes, that's right... Sorry, what did you say? Speak up! ... They're at Tingaling Villa? Thanks a lot, I'll send someone after them right away."

He hangs up.

"Who was that, Grandpa?" Cream asked.

"He didn't say who he was." Chuck said and turned to Sonic. "Chris needs your help at Tingaling Villa."

"Right."

Sonic races out out of the garage on his way to Tingalin Villa to rescue his friends from the clutches of Dr. Eggman.
