The next day, Skylar and Dillion were out for the day while you and Sonic were spending time together.

"I missed you so much Sonic."

"I missed you too Y/N." You begin to think to yourself for a minute.

"We've been so much together. Remember when we first met?" Y/N asked.

"I sure did."

*Flashback* You were five years old and you were being bullied by a pink bat and a green fox.

"Oh look, she's gonna cry."

"What's wrong? You want your mommy?" They both laughed while you were crying. They started to hurt you and beat you up making you cry more. You whimpered softly as they stopped.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" They turned around and saw a young blue hedgehog with green eyes. It was young Sonic.

"Oh yeah and what are you going to do about it?"

"I will tell!" They both growled.

"Fine." The bullies glared at you and then walked away. You looked at Sonic feeling scared. Sonic walked towards you.

"Hey are you ok?" You moved away from him.

"It's ok. I won't hurt you. I promise." You looked at his hand and grabbed it slowly. You got up and looked at him.

"Hi. I'm Sonic The Hedgehog. What's your name?"

"Y-Y/N The Hedgehog."

"Nice to meet you. I hope we can be friends." You looked at him and smiled a little.

"Come on, let's get you to the hospital." You nodded and walked with him.

*Flashback ended* "I remember that. Oh! Remember when you first met our friends?"

*Flashback* You were holding Sonic's hand feeling nervous.

"Don't worry Y/N. My friends are really nice. You'll love them and they'll love you." Sonic said.

"O-Ok." When they arrived at the park, they saw Sonic's friends.

"Hey Sonic. Who's that?" Amy asked.

"This is my new friend, Y/N." Sonic said. Sonic introduced you to everyone and you all became friends. You and Sonic did everything together.

You even started to develop a crush on him but every time he uses the word 'friend', you gave up on trying to tell him your feelings.

*Flashback ended* "Yeah. I remember that. That was a great day." You smiled a little and then you frowned.

"What's wrong?" Sonic asked.

"I have something to say. After you left, me and others have been searching for you."

*Flashback* You and the others were searching for Sonic but there was no sign of him. You've been searching for 2 months until the others were giving up.

You didn't want to stop looking but they said that you should accept that he's dead. You didn't want to accept that so you kept looking. After a few weeks of searching, you gave up on looking and began to cry.

At Sonic's funeral, You and your friends were crying but you were crying the most. A few weeks later, Shadow introduced his new girlfriend, Ruby The Bat to the others.

They were together for a while before Sonic left but they kept their relationship a secret because they were nervous about telling them. They welcomed her with open arms.

She was very sweet and caring and she reminded Shadow of Maria. Shadow loved her very much and he would do anything for her.

A few more weeks later, you told everyone that you were pregnant and they were proud of you but when you told them that it was Sonic's, they felt bad for you and they decided to help you out more.

Ruby was also pregnant and Shadow was the father. A few weeks later, Ruby and Shadow got married. Blaze and Silver got married a few months after Sonic left and Knuckles and Rouge got married a few years later.

A few months later, you and Ruby went to the hospital to give birth. You had twin hedgehogs. One female blue and yellow hedgehog and one male black and blue hedgehog.

You were so happy but at the same time sad because Sonic wasn't here to see this and they look just like him. You promised yourself that you're gonna take good care of them and that's exactly what you're going to do.

Soon, you were able to leave the hospital but you decided to go visit the others. They were in the waiting room waiting for Rudy to finish giving birth. After a while, the doctor came towards them with a serious look.

"Shadow The Hedgehog?"

"Yes?"

"I need to speak to you...alone." They both walked away. When Shadow came back, Shadow was crying. Everyone was shocked.

"Shadow? What's wrong? What happened?" Y/N asked.

"I-It's Ruby. She's....She's....dying." Shadow said as he continued to cry. Everyone widen their eyes.

"What about the baby?" Amy asked.

"The baby i-is still alive. But Ruby doesn't have m-much time left so we have t-to say our goodbyes." Everything started to form tears. Everyone walked towards her room and saw her on the bed not moving.

She was barely breathing and she had wires around her. The crib was sitting next to her and the baby was sleeping.

Shadow walked towards Ruby and held her hand. Ruby slowly opened her eyes and looked at Shadow.

"H-Hey Shadow."

"Oh Ruby. This is all my fault. If I haven't gotten you pregnant, none of this would of happened."

"Shadow. It's not your f-fault. These things happen. Did you meet our baby yet?"

"I did."

"What should we name him?" "I want you to name him."

"We'll c-call him Darkness."

"I love it." Shadow picked up Darkness and gave him to Ruby. She smiled as she looked at him for the first and finally time.

"Promise me something Shadow. Promise me that you'll take good care of him for me."

"I-I promise." Shadow took Darkness and sets him down in his crib.

"I love you Shadow."

"I love you too Ruby. I'll never forget you."

"I'll always be with you." Ruby looked at the others.

"Goodbye my friends. Until we meet again." Everyone said goodbye while crying softly. Ruby held Shadow's hand and kissed him gently while Shadow kissed back. Shadow hugged Ruby gently while she hugged back.

Soon, Ruby was losing her grip on Shadow's hand as she finally went to permanent sleep. Shadow was crying softly.

"Goodbye Ruby. I love you." You walked towards Shadow and hugged him gently. Shadow hugged back while crying. Everyone else was crying and they all looked at Ruby one last time before leaving the room.

A few weeks later, after her funeral, everyone decided to have alone time for a while. A few years later, you were watching Skylar and Dillion playing tag.

"You can't catch me!" Skylar said.

"Oh yes I can!" Dillion said as he ran after her. You were watching them and you realized that it reminded you of when you and Sonic were playing tag when you were younger.

When you started thinking about him, you started to cry. Skylar and Dillion saw this and stopped playing. They looked at each other worried and walked towards you.

"Are you ok mommy?" Skylar asked.

"I'm fine. Just continue playing."

"Mommy?" When's daddy coming home?"

"I-I don't think he's coming back for a while."

"What does he look like?" You looked at them and thought for a minute.

"Come with me." They followed you inside. You grabbed a picture of you and him hugging each other.

"That's our daddy?" Dillion asked.

"Yeah. His name is Sonic The Hedgehog. The greatest hero in the world. He was my childhood best friend. We did everything together. But then a villain named, Eggman turned him half werehog which means he turns into a Werehog every night."

"Are we half Werehog too?" Skylar asked.

"Yeah but you're not quite at the age to get that kind of power yet. Your daddy has saved me many times from danger and he never gives up."

"Daddy sounds amazing!" Skylar said.

"I want to be just like daddy." Dillion said. You smiled as you opened your arms. They walked towards you and hugged you while you hugged back.

A few years later, Dillion was searching for ladies while Skylar and Darkness were hanging out. Darkness asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes and a few weeks later, Sonic came.

*Flashback ended* Sonic was shocked. He had no idea what you had been through and he felt bad for not being there for her.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you like this Y/N."

"It's alright. I'm just glad you're back. Wanna see some photo albums?"

"Sure." You grabbed the photo album and sat down.

"Here's the photo album." You and Sonic began to look at pictures of you, your children, and your friends. You both smiled and snuggled each other.
