While you were in your room getting ready for dinner, you heard a knock on your door.

"Come in!"

As the door opened, you saw Sonic walk into your room through your mirror. Your smile faded as you continued to brush your (Hair/Quills, Etc.) without looking at him.

"What do you want Sonic?" You said in a low tone.

"Y/N, why did you invite that guy here? You know we don't just let people come in here."

"So you're saying that I can't make new friends?"

"What I'm saying is that he is no good fit here."

"You had your doubts about Shadow and you invited him to your lives."

"That's because...I...ugh! We're rivals and hate each other!"

"And yet, you still invited him to your team."

Sonic didn't know how to respond to that but then he said,

"Why don't you believe me anymore?"

Y/N turned around and looked at him.
But before she could answer, Cream came into the room.

"Everyone is waiting for you!" Cream said.

"Thanks Cream."

Y/N stood up and left her room. Sonic lowered his ears as Cream saw this.

"What's wrong Mr. Sonic?"

Sonic gave her a soft smile.

"I'm fine Cream. Don't worry."

"Ok. See you downstairs." Cream walked downstairs as Sonic sighed.

At dinner, Everyone began to talk to Jason.

"So Jason, how did you meet Y/N anyway?" Knuckles asked

"I was just about to go have my lunch break after work until I bumped into her."

"Where do you work?" Tails asked.

"I work at a repair shop to fix broken objects."

"That's nice." Blaze said.

"I know there's one thing you can't fix, a broken heart..." Sonic said as he moved his fork back and forth on his plate while staring at his food.

Y/N glared at him as Jason placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey. It's ok. I think he's just not used to me yet and I understand."

You nodded and started eating.

"So dark dude? You the tough one in the group?" Jason asked, looking at Shadow.

Shadow didn't answer as he gave him a cold stare. Jason was confused.

"Was it something I said?"

"No. Shadow doesn't talk very much and is not very social." Silver said.

"Oh! I understand. Sorry dude."

"Hmph." Shadow just continued eating as everyone else did.

"How long are you here for Jason?" Amy asked.

"Not long. But I've very thankful for the dinner you guys made."

"We are very happy to help." Y/N said.

Jason looked at you with a smile as you smiled back.

Sonic growled as he sees this. Suddenly he started to feel the same pain in his body from earlier. Everyone looked at him.

"You ok dude?" Jason asked.

Sonic ignored him and left the table as he held his body. Everyone looked at each other.

"I'll go check on him." Tails said as he left the table."

"Hope that dude's ok." Jason said.

"I'm sure he's fine. He's tougher than you think." Silver said.
