Tails opened Sonic's door slowly as he saw him sitting the opposite direction of his bed

"Sonic? Are you ok?"

Sonic turned his head towards Tails and then looks away again.

"Hey Tails...."

Tails felt bad as he walked towards him, sitting on his bed.

"You ok Sonic?"

Sonic sighed calmly

"No. Not really. I lost the girl of my dreams and I just don't feel it anymore..."

"Maybe going for a run might cheer you up."

"I'm not in the mood."

"But you love to run."

"Look Tails, I appreciate you trying to help but I prefer to be alone."

"But Sonic..."

"Please leave me be..."

Tails stayed quiet and left his room.

Sonic suddenly felt the pain in his body again except it was getting worse. He groaned in pain while holding himself.

"What is wrong with me?" Sonic asked himself.

Meanwhile with the others, everyone said goodbye to Jason as he left the house but before he could leave, you grabbed his hand, stopping him.

"Wait Jason. Um...Do you wanna hang out with me for a bit before you go?"

Jason smiled.

"Sure. Why not."

"I'll be right back guys!" Y/N said as you both left the house.

You both walked to a nearby hill and began to lie down on the grass.

"There are so many stars out tonight." Y/N said.

"Yeah, Whenever I'm depressed, I like to come out here to relax. It's nice and quiet here most of the time.

"Yeah."

You both stayed quiet for a bit until Jason looked at you.

"Can I tell you something?"

"What is it?"

"So you know how I was talking about my brother ruining my life?"

"Yeah?"

You both sat up as Jason grabbed your hands.

"I just wanna say thank you."

"Thank you?"

"When I heard that you destroyed him in Eggman's base, I couldn't be happier."

"What are you...wait..." When you realized what he meant, you gasped softly.

"I know it sounds crazy but please let me explain. So obviously Blake is my big brother and he's been treating me like nothing my whole life. He always embarrassed me in public and puts me in the hospital multiple times. The worst part is that he killed our parents so he could torture me more and forced me to do everything for him."

"Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear that."

"You didn't know but I wanna thank you. Now I don't have to worry about the pain I've been through."

"If you ever need anything, me and my friends will be there to help you if needed."

"I don't want to be a bother and make you do that."

"Nonsense. We are heros after all."

He chuckled

"Thanks Y/N. I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome."

You both continued to look at the stars.
