"Well before you do that, I have someone for you to meet!" He stopped running towards Sonic and said,

"Who?" Sonic smirked and ran towards you and gently pushed you towards him. You were a bit nervous since you saw his reaction towards Sonic.

"Y/N, this is my friend, Knuckles. Knuckles, This is Y/N."

"Hey there." He said with a smile. You waved slowly as you looked at him.

"Sorry if you saw that."

"Yeah. He can be a total embarrassment sometimes."

"Shut up Sonic!" Knuckles shouted.

"He has anger issues. I suggest you be careful." Tails said as you nodded.

"Anyways, we need to borrow the Master Emerald Knuckles." Tails said.

"Oh no! Oh no! No! No! No! Don't you remember what happened last time I let you borrow it?" Knuckles asked.

"Oh come on Knuckles. You knew it was an accident." Sonic said.

"Master Emerald?" You asked.

"Yeah. Knuckles is the last of his kind and he is the last guardian of the Master Emerald which has the power to control the 7 Chaos Emeralds. It also keeps the Island floating."

"But if you need to borrow it, won't the Island fall?"

"As long as it doesn't fall into the wrong hands, it should be fine."

"Yeah and your hands are not touching that Emerald." Knuckles said.

"Come on Knuckles. We need it to bring her home." Tails said. Knuckles looked confused.

"What do you mean?" Knuckles asked. "Y/N isn't exactly from here. She lives on planet Earth and we need to bring her home. We would use the Chaos Emeralds but they went missing again."

"See? This is one of the reasons why I don't trust you."

"Please Knuckles?"

"I can use the Master Emerald to locate the missing Chaos Emeralds." Knuckles walked towards the Master Emerald and touched it as he closed his eyes.

"Master Emerald. Can you help us locate the Chaos Emeralds?" The Master Emerald began to glow as it showed a female Echidna who was giving them a small smile.

"Hello Knuckles."

"Tikal. Can you tell us where the Chaos Emeralds are?"

"I'm afraid I can't at the moment." "Why not?"

"The location of the Emeralds is unknown for now but they are closer than you think. You'll find them when the time is right." Tikal said as she disappeared. Knuckles groaned a little as he heard this.

"So...Knucklehead? Can we borrow it now?" Knuckles growled and said,

"Alright fine! But I'm coming with you so you better not try anything!"

"Gees Knuckles. You can be such a redhead." Sonic said with a laugh. Knuckles tried to punch him but Tails stopped him.

"Can you just meet us back at my place?" Knuckles sighed and said,

"Yeah. See you soon Y/N." He gave you a small smile again and went to the Master Emerald.

"We better get going and meet Knuckles back home." You nodded and went back to the X Tornado with your friends. You were now heading back towards Tails place.
