You and your friends began to follow the Mobian sharks.

"So... you guys won't eat us right?" Silver asked.

"Where did you get that idea?" Lava asked.

"Is it because we're sharks? We get that a lot. It took time to get along with the other creatures but hey! It's worth it!" Stream said.

"Do you two even know where you are going?" Knuckles asked.

"Of course! Because I saw something shiny while swimming but I didn't get a chance to look but I'm positive that it might be that Emerald that you're looking for." Stream said.

"Your town is amazing!" Y/N said.

"Thank you dear." Lava said.

"This way guys!" Stream and Lava starts swimming below as you and the others followed them. When they arrived, they saw an Emerald which was white.

"Is this it?" Stream asked.

"Yes! That's the one!" Tails asked.

"Thank you so much!" Silver said.

"No problem. I'll go get it." Stream was about to reach for it until a hand slapped it.

"Ow!"

"Hands off my jewel." Everyone looked and saw another shark but this time, it's a male.

Lava groaned and said,

"Not him again."

"I see you brought company. And not the kind I was expecting." The Male Shark said.

"Who is that?" Knuckles asked.

"This is Razor The Shark." Lava said.

"What are these land Mobians doing here?" He asked.

"These creatures are looking for this Emerald and would you please hand it over?"

"You seriously think we're just gonna hand over something to these strangers?"

"Just hand it over Razor." Lava said.

"No can do babe. I think this baby needs to be in proper care."

"Oh come on Razor!" Stream said.

Razor swam towards the submarine and looked at you and your friends.

"I would turn back if I were you. Your kind doesn't belong in these waters. So take your machine and get going."

"We're not going anywhere until we get that Emerald!" Knuckles yelled.

You walked towards the window and looked at Razor.

"Please. We don't want any trouble. All we wanted is the Emerald so I can go home to my home planet."

"And you think I'm just gonna hand it to you? That's not how it works here sweetheart. Your kind has always been hunting us down for years."

"And again, that was years ago." Lava said with her arms crossed.

"Yeah! No one attacks us anymore...well...kinda." Stream said nervously.

"Sorry but this gem isn't going anywhere. See ya doll face." He winked at Lava and swam off.

Lava rolled her eyes as Stream yelled.

"Hey! Get back here!"

"What do we do now?" Tails asked.

"We're gonna have to follow him and convince him to give you the Emerald back. It's gonna be tough but if it's important to you guys, we're happy to help!" Stream said as Lava smiled.

"Thank you so much!" Y/N said.

"No problem. Now let's swim!" Stream and Lava began to swim as the submarine follows.

A few minutes later, they were able to find Razor and began to follow him wait being seen. When he arrived at a coral field, they quickly hid and watched him.

They saw him swim towards a female who was sitting by the coral.

"Hello your highness. I found something for you."

She looked at his hand and gasped.

"Who's the girl?" Silver asked.

"That's our princess, Undina. She's the future ruler of these waters and the daughter of our rulers, King Puff and Queen Angelica. She also likes to be called Deena." Lava said.

"Oh great. We have to deal with another royal family?" Knuckles asked.

"Maybe at least they speak our language." Tails said.

"It's beautiful! Thank you Razor!" Undina said.

"You're welcome princess." He said with a bow.

"I have to show this to my parents!"

"May I take you home princess?" He asked, holding out his hand.

"Thanks Razor." She took his hand and they swam home.

"Come on! Let's follow them!" Stream said as they continued their journey.

Note: I don't know much of the sea creatures from the Sonic comics but I'll see what I can find and try to match their powers and personalities with them so I'm sorry if it's not perfect or correct.
